Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to present a comprehensive overview of options pricing research and to demonstrate existing themes in the field. This research also tries to provide direction to academics in determining option prices in the future. The method used is bibliometric analysis. This analysis includes 5,367 papers from the Scopus database accessed over a 38-year period (1985-2023) and published in the top 50 finance and economics, econometrics, and financial journals. This number dropped to 913 articles after using the keyword “option pricing” as the primary search term in the “title, abstract, keywords” column. Tabular and visual representations of this analysis indicate that options pricing is a topic that has been thoroughly studied, but the sharp increase in the number of publications (56) for 2015 indicates that interest in this area is expanding. Additionally, affiliate figures show that most of the research was conducted in the United States, with China coming in second. This suggests that there may be potential to investigate option pricing in other countries. This article offers a thorough and complete review along with possible implications for future research.

Abstract

PKH encourages KM to have access to basic social services of health, education, food and nutrition, and other protection programs. However, the results of this program are still far from expected. The Ministry of Social Affairs through the collaboration between the Central Jakarta Social Service Office and the Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. HAMKA University has started its first step with the theme "Counseling Family Development" and delivered the material "Financial Governance for Beneficiary Families (KPM) of the Family Hope Program (PKH) Senen District". The author gets a fact that turns out to be different. Of the 899 KPM invited, only 47 KPM attended. Most of them admitted that the social assistance funds received were used for consumptive purposes (not in accordance with the designation set by the Government Program). The PKH Facilitator of Senen District responded to the author's idea and asked the author and the FEB UHAMKA team to initiate the birth of the first or pioneer Consumer Cooperative in the DKI Jakarta area named "Koperasi TAMARA (Koperasi Wanita Mandiri Sejahtera)" and conduct regular guidance on the Cooperative, where all elements involved in it are women

Abstract

The cosmetics industry in Indonesia has seen significant growth in recent years, driven by high competition, rapid consumer trend shifts, and the need for constant product innovation. This study aims to analyze the effects of capital structure, profitability, and firm size on the Price to Book Ratio (P/B Ratio) of companies in Indonesia's cosmetics subsector. Using a quantitative approach with a descriptive-verificative analysis, the study population includes 10 cosmetics companies listed on the Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) from 2021 to 2023, utilizing a saturated sample. Data were collected from each company's annual financial reports, focusing on variables such as Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Assets (ROA), and total assets as indicators of capital structure, profitability, and firm size, respectively. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted to determine the impact of these financial metrics on firm value. The findings show that capital structure (DER) and profitability (ROA) positively and significantly affect the P/B Ratio, while firm size has no significant impact. These results imply that cosmetics companies should focus on managing debt strategically and improving profitability to enhance market valuation, as investors prioritize financial health and adaptability over sheer size.

The research is guided by Expectation-Disconfirmation Theory (EDT) and aims to evaluate the alignment of teaching quality with student expectations. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 1,731 students, with 261 responses analyzed. Descriptive statistics, gap analysis, and multiple regression were employed to analyze the data. The findings reveal that actual experiences significantly impact student satisfaction, with key gaps identified in lecturers' subject knowledge, openness to student input, and clarity in material delivery. Recommendations are made for improving pedagogical skills and aligning teaching methods with student needs.

Abstract

Universities remain underutilized in addressing pressing issues of poverty, unemployment, and inequality. This study aims to develop a structured framework that integrates social entrepreneurship and Islamic philanthropy into academic moral responsibility. Using a qualitative method, the research combines Critical Literature Review (CLR) and Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) through a case study of the Islamic Philanthropreneurship Lab (LKSFI). Findings reveal two key outcomes: (1) a theoretical-philosophical foundation for embedding social entrepreneurship and philanthropy in higher education, and (2) a redesigned Business Model Canvas adapted for university-based philanthropic ventures. This framework offers a strategic tool to enhance universities' social missions and institutional alignment.

Abstract

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: Royal Honey Sakah Bee Agrotourism is a beekeeping business established to educate the public about honeybee culture and increase the honey sales profits. However, over time the owner faced challenges in stabilizing honey production to meet sales demand. Therefore, a financial feasibility analysis is necessary to evaluate the viability of the investments made. This study aims to assess the feasibility and sensitivity of Royal Honey Sakah Bee Agrotourism. METHODS: Primary data were collected through interviews with key informants, while secondary data were obtained from relevant sources. Financial feasibility was evaluated using NPV, IRR, Net B/C Ratio, and Payback Period. Sensitivity analysis was conducted under three main assumptions, such as inflation rate, sales decline, and interest rate increase. FINDINGS: Royal Honey Sakah Bee Agrotourism is financially feasible with an NPV of IDR166,134,926; IRR of 21.61%; Net B/C Ratio of 1.09; and a Payback Period of 3 years and 9 months. The business remains feasible under 1.57% inflation and an interest rate increase from 7.5% to 12%. However, a 10% decline in sales would render it unfeasible and potentially result in future losses. CONCLUSION: Royal Honey Sakah Bee Agrotourism must maintain the quality of its honey, as well as the services and educational experiences it offers. It should also consider increasing the number of bee colonies and improving their care, alongside enhancing its promotion and marketing strategies. Through these efforts, it is expected that Royal Honey Sakah Bee Agrotourism can grow sustainably and avoid potential losses in the future.
