Abstract

Mesin cuci tangan otomatis adalah alat yang berfungsi untuk membersihkan tangan secara otomatis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi efek pandemi Covid 19 melalui rancang bangun mesin cuci tangan otomatis portabel. Kelebihan mesin ini adalah dapat bekerja secara otomatis pada saat ada tangan yang ingin dibersihkan dan dapat dipindah dengan mudah. Mesin ini dapat mengeluarkan air kemudian mengeluarkan cairan sabun untuk membantu proses membersikan tangan. Sensor infra merah (infrared) pada kran air dan cairan sabun digunakan untuk mendeteksi keberadaan tangan yang ingin dibersihkan. Air dikeluarkan melalui pompa yang diatur oleh selenoid valve. Relay digunakan untuk mengendalikan input dan output mesin ini. Sinyal yang terdeteksi pada infrared diteruskan sebagai input relay, kemudian relay meneruskan sinyal tersebut agar air dan cairan sabun dapat keluar secara otomatis. Mesin dilengkapi dengan baterai sebagai alternatif sumber tenaga. Penggunaan alat ini dapat mempermudah manusia dalam kegiatan membersihkan tangan. Kata kunci: Covid 19, Mesin cuci tangan otomatis, Pembersih tangan, Infrared, Selenoid valve ABSTRACT Automatic hand washing machine is a tool that functions to clean hands automatically. This study aims to reduce the effects of the Covid 19 pandemic through the design of a portabel automatic hand washing machine. The advantage of this machine is that it can work automatically when there is a hand that you want to clean and can be moved easily. This machine can remove water and then remove soap to help the process of washing hands. Infrared sensor (infrared) on water faucet and soap liquid is used to detect the presence of the hand that wants to be cleaned. The water is discharged through a pump which is regulated by the selenoid valve. Relays are used to control the input and output of this machine. Signal detected in infrared forwarded as an input relay, then the relay forwards the signal so that water and soap can come out automatically. The machine is equipped with a battery as an alternative source of power. The use of this tool can make it easier for humans to clean their hands. Abstract

Penelitian mengenai inovasi produk dalam material komposit merupakan urgensi, salah satu industri yang memiliki potensi inovasi adalah wood-based panels (WBPs) khususnya papan partikel. Selama ini kayu masih menjadi bahan utama dalam produksi papan partikel. Akan tetapi kesadaran konsumen mengenai dampak penggunaan kayu secara berlebih mendorong industri ini untuk mencari alternatif pengganti kayu. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan review yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui, membandingkan, dan mencari peluang serat alam non-kayu sebagai material dalam papan partikel. Berdasarkan 11 jurnal yang telah diulas dari berbagai peneliti di dunia didapatkan hasil bahwa penggunaan serat alam non-kayu adalah feasible jika material tersebut memiliki karakteristik mekanis yang mirip dengan kayu. Serabut kelapa merupakan serat alam yang memiliki potensi menjadi material pengganti kayu pada produk papan partikel. Modulus of elasticity (MOE) dan modulus of rupture (MOR) Spesimen yang telah diuji oleh berbagai peneliti menunjukkan bahwa sifat mekanis serabut kelapa memiliki kemiripan dengan kayu dengan beberapa penyesuaian seperti homogenisasi ukuran partikel dan jenis perekat yang digunakan. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa serabut kelapa merupakan salah satu material potensial yang membutuhkan pengembangan lebih lanjut.

Abstract

Adhesion between the printed part and the buildplate was a critical factor governing process stability, dimensional accuracy, and failure prevention in fused filament fabrication (FFF) technology. This study aimed to investigate the effects of build plate material and build plate temperature on interlayer adhesion performance and build-plate adhesion of high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) and polypropylene (PP). The research method used was an experimental approach involving the fabrication of standardized specimens using an FFF-based 3D printer, evaluation of interlayer bonding through tensile testing in accordance with ISO 527-3, and measurement of build-plate adhesion using a specially designed detachment test apparatus integrated with a universal testing machine, complemented by fracture morphology analysis using scanning electron microscopy. The results showed that increasing build plate temperature significantly improved interlayer adhesion strength and fracture surface width in HIPS, particularly at temperatures approaching its glass transition temperature, indicating enhanced molecular diffusion and improved interfacial bonding quality, whereas PP exhibited poor adhesion performance on all tested build plate surfaces due to early warping and interfacial void formation. Optimal and stable build-plate adhesion was achieved only for the HIPS–PEI combination at a build plate temperature of 105 °C, while ultrabed and glass build plates did not demonstrate adequate adhesion performance. These findings confirmed the importance of compatibility between thermal conditions and build plate surface characteristics in FFF processes and highlighted the necessity of material modification or additional surface treatment to improve the printability of PP.

Abstract

Tourism plays a key role in the economic development and cultural preservation of Surakarta City, yet it remains underdeveloped compared to Yogyakarta, despite their similar geographical and cultural characteristics. In 2024, the number of tourists visiting Surakarta was less than half that of Yogyakarta. To boost Surakarta's tourism, an innovative strategy is required to attract more visitors and foster repeat tourism. This study employs a mixed-method approach, analyzing literature sources using descriptive, comparative, and projective techniques. It examines the factors contributing to Surakarta's low tourist numbers, analyzes the success of Pokémon GO, and formulates SoloVerse, an augmented reality mobile game. Key factors influencing tourism include Surakarta's uniqueness, beauty, cultural diversity, and available attractions. The success of Pokémon GO is attributed to six critical factors: progressiveness, contextual engagement, app positivity, game mechanics, user interest, and expectations. SoloVerse, which integrates these factors, is a location-based game that combines entertainment with educational content about Surakarta's local culture. It is projected to attract 1.3 million users and potential tourists, contributing to Surakarta's regional economic growth. This study offers a strategic recommendation for the Surakarta City Government to enhance tourism competitiveness and serves as a basis for future research on augmented reality games.
