Abstract

This training is to provide understanding to school principals and teachers about the importance of preparing school accreditation in order to improve the quality and quality of school education. The targets for this Community Service group activity are leaders, teaching staff and education staff at SMP Negeri 1 Semau Selatan. The activity was carried out for 2 days starting from 7 until 8 August 2023. The main material presented was to provide education through assistance regarding the School/Madrasha Accreditation system and procedures for SMP Negeri 1 Semau Selatan and provide practice/simulation regarding concrete steps in preparing School/Madrasha Accreditation for SMP Negeri 1 Semau Selatan. The method used in carrying out activities is Participatory Action Research (PAR). The PKM activities were applied with lecture activities and strengthened through FGD (Focus Group Discussion) discussions and questions and answers between presenters/stakeholders and participants. The number of participants who took part in the training was 35 teachers. The results of the training show that participants understand and mastery of the material regarding creditation, starting from the accreditation system and procedures, and the participants also practice directly the concrete steps in preparing all the documents required for school accreditation. The training participants were very enthusiastic about taking part in this activity because one of the factors is that the school will enter a reaccreditation period in the near future in 2023.Keywords: accompaniment; preparation; accreditationAbstrakPelatihan ini untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada kepala sekolah dan guru akan pentingnya penyiapan akreditasi sekolah demi meningkatkan mutu dan kualitas Pendidikan Sekolah. Sasaran dalam kegiatan kelompok Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini yaitu para pimpinan, tenaga pendidik maupun kependidikan di SMP Negeri 1 Semau Selatan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama 2 Hari mulai tanggal 7 sampai dengan 8 Agustus 2023. Materi pokok yang disampaikan adalah, untuk memberikan edukasi lewat Pendampingan mengenai sistim dan prosedur Akreditasi Sekolah/Madrasha Bagi SMP Negeri 1 Semau Selatan dan memberikan praktek/simulasi mengenai langkah-langkah konkrit dalam mempersiapkan Akreditasi Sekolah/Madrasha Bagi SMP Negeri 1 Semau Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan yaitu Participatory Action Research (PAR). Kegiatan PKM tersebut, diaplikasikan dengan aktifitas ceramah dan dikuatkan melalui diskusi FGD (Focus Group Discussion) serta tanya jawab antara pemateri/stakeholders dengan peserta. Jumlah peserta yang mengikuti pelatihan sebanyak 35 orang guru. Hasil Pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman dan penguasaan materi tentang kreditasi Mulai dari sistim dan prosedur akreditasi sudah dipahami oleh para peserta dan peserta juga mempraktekkan secara langsung langkah-langkah kongkrit dalam mempersiapkan semua dokumen yang dipersyaratkan dalam akreditasi sekolah. Para peserta pelatihan sangat antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan ini dikrenakan salah satu faktor adalah sekolah sudah memasuki masa reakreditasi dalam waktu dekat ditahun 2023 ini.Kata Kunci: pendampingan; penyiapan; akreditasi

Abstract

The work carried out must be based on high work motivation and supported by balanced job satisfaction so that it has an impact on maximum work productivity. The aims of this study are 1) to determine the effect of work motivation on teacher work productivity; 2) to determine the effect of job satisfaction on teacher work productivity. The research method used is a quantitative method with questionnaires and documentation data collection techniques, while the data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 23. Research findings are: 1) has a fairly significant effect of motivation on work productivity of 41.4 % > 5% which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So that the contribution of motivation to work productivity is quite influential; 2) has a significant effect of job satisfaction on work productivity of 70.05% > 5%, which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So that the contribution of satisfaction to work productivity has a good effect. The conclusion is that motivation and job satisfaction need to be increased in order to achieve high productivity from teachers at the Kefamenanu Catholic Vocational School.

Abstract

Abstract: The role of parents is very important in shaping children's character because the first educators for children are the parents themselves. The purpose of this research is to find out how the role of parents in shaping children's character, the strategies used by parents to shape children's character and the efforts made in shaping children's character in Karang Siri Village, Soe City District, South East Central Regency. The research used is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. The results showed that, the family is the first place where children get education. Children's character is formed first in the family. Therefore, parents should have a concept or provision in educating their children which includes the formation of religious character, discipline, and children's independence. Parents are examples and role models for their own children, so the role of parents is very important in the development and formation of children's character from an early age. Keywords: parents; education; character Abstrak : Peran orang tua sangatlah penting dalam pembentukan karakter anak sebab pendidik pertama bagi anak adalah orang tua itu sendiri.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran orang tua dalam membentuk karakter anak, strategi yang digunakan orang tua untuk membentuk karakter anak dan upaya yang dilakukan dalam pembentukan karakter anak di Kelurahan Karang Siri, Kecamatan Kota Soe, Kabupaten Timur Tengah Selatan. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, keluarga merupakan tempat pertama dimana anak memperoleh pendidikan. Karakter anak dibentuk pertama kali di dalam keluarga. Oleh karena itu, orang tua hendaknya memiliki konsep atau ketentuan dalam mendidik anaknya yang meliputi pembentukan karakter religius, disiplin, dan kemandiri anak. Orang tua adalah contoh dan teladan bagi anaknya sendiri, sehingga peran orang tua sangatlah penting dalam perkembangan dan pembentukan karakter anak sejak dini. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh mindfulness terhadap psychological well-being pada mahasiswa yang tinggal di rumah kos. Populasi peneliltian adalah mahasiswa berjumlah 250 orang dan pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling sehingga memperoleh 60 sampel. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket atau kuesioner berbasis dua skala, yaitu skala Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire (FFMQ) yang disusun oleh Baer dkk untuk mengukur mindfulness untuk mengukur tingkat mindfulness, dan Psychological Well-Being Scale (PWBS) yang disusun oleh Ryff yang di terjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia untuk mengukur tingkat kesejahteraan psikologis. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi (p-value) < 0,05 dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,115. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa mindfulness memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan yang masih rendah terhadap psychological well-being pada mahasiswa yang tinggal di rumah kos. Namun demikian, semakin tinggi tingkat mindfulness mahasiswa, maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat kesejahteraan psikologis atau psychological well-being mereka. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi upaya penguatan aspek mindfulness dalam mendukung kesehatan mental mahasiswa yang tinggal di rumah kos.

Abstract

This training is to provide an understanding to principals and teachers about the diagnostic assessment that is currently in effect in the independent curriculum. The targets of this Community Service group activity are principals, educators and education staff at SMA Negeri I Ba'a, Rote Ndao Regency. The activity was carried out for 2 days. The main material presented was to provide education and workshops through mentoring in making diagnostic instruments and providing practice/simulations regarding concrete steps in preparing diagnostic assessments. The method used in implementing the activity was Participatory Action Research (PAR). The PKM activity was applied with lecture activities and strengthened through FGD (Focus Group Discussion) discussions and questions and answers between presenters/stakeholders and participants. The number of participants who took part in the training was 35 teachers. The results of the training showed that the understanding and mastery of the material on writing diagnostic assessment instruments in the independent curriculum had been understood by the participants and produced a draft of the diagnostic assessment instrument and directly practiced concrete steps in preparing all the required documents. The training participants were very enthusiastic in participating in this activity because it was a requirement in the independent curriculum.
