Abstract

Jembatan gelagar beton bertulang type balok-T, merupakan konstruksi jembatan yang paling banyak digunakan di Indonesia. Dari beberapa peraturan pembebanan jembatan yang pernah dibuat, pada prinsipnya menggunakan beban bergerak berupa beban terbagi rata dan beban garis yang dalam aplikasinya dalam desain diasumsikan sebagai beban statik ekivalen. Prinsip perhitungan struktur diatas dua tumpuan sebagaimana halnya girder jembatan beton bertulang akibat momen lentur adalah bahwa bagian tekan dipikul oleh penampang beton sedangkan bagian tarik sepenuhnya dipikul oleh besi tulangan, dengan demikian ada penampang beton pada bagian tarik dibawah garis netral yang tidak diperhitungkan memikul beban, Berkaitan dengan hal itu pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan pengujian perilaku balok-T akibat tegangan lentur dengan rongga botol plastik pada penampang tarik. Ada beberapa pertimbangan yang mendasarinya antara lain pembuatan rongga akan mengurangi berat balok, mereduksi penggunaan beton dan semen, serta memanfaatkan limbah botol plastik. Bila dikaitkan dengan isu lingkungan, pengurangan semen berarti mengurangi potensi pencemaran akibat gas CO2 dan pemanfaatan limbah botol plastik berarati mereduksi pencemaran lingkungan akibat bahan plastik yang sulit terurai.Balok uji dibuat dalam 2 kondisi yakni sebagai balok- T semu dan balok-T murni dengan penampang diambil dari penampang girder jembatan beton bertulang standar dengan skala 1 : 3 yang kemudian masing-masing diuji dengan beban statis yang mewakili beban tetap dan beban statis berulang yang merupakan perwujudan dari beban bergerak pada jembatan. Hasil yang diharapkan dalam penelitian antara lain dapat mengetahui perbandingan kemampuan memikul beban pada balok-T, baik akibat perbedaan lebar efektif, maupun akibat adanya rongga pada pada penampang tarik .Selain itu juga untuk merumuskan perbedaan perilaku lentur, menyangkut (hubungan beban – lendutan, kekakuan dan daktilitas) baik pada beton maupun pada baja tulangan, dalam memikul beban statis monotonik dan beban statis siklik.

Abstract

The increasing population in Makassar City each year has led to a rise in the number of motor vehicle drivers. This study aims to analyze intersections and provide solutions. At the T-junction of Jalan Abdullah Daeng Sirua and Jalan Adyaksa Baru, delays arise due to side obstacles, including vehicles entering and exiting from Jalan Inspeksi Kanal, as well as the presence of restaurants, businesses, and service providers along the intersection’s edges. Limited parking spaces cause many vehicles to stop haphazardly. Another cause of congestion at this intersection is the narrow Daeng Sirua Bridge, which creates traffic jams along the stretch of road at the T-junction of Jalan Abdullah Daeng Sirua and Jalan Adyaksa Baru. To address these issues, solutions include road widening, bridge expansion, and reconfiguration of traffic lights at the intersection. The Level of Service (LOS) at the current conditions shows Approach Code A (Jalan Abdullah Daeng Sirua) rated as D, Approach Code B (Jalan Abdullah Daeng Sirua) rated as F, and Approach Code C (Jalan Adyaksa Baru) rated as C.

Abstract

The Pare-Pare – Sidrap road section is a National Road that connects several districts/cities in South Sulawesi Province, such as Enrekang, Tanah Toraja, Wajo and Soppeng Regencies. Apart from that, there are also vehicles that use this road to the provinces of Southeast Sulawesi and Central Sulawesi, so that many two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles pass through it, both light and heavy vehicles. Rapid economic growth triggers increasing growth in traffic volumes and vehicles with excessive loads lead to a decrease in road service life. This research aims to analyze the impact of traffic volume and estimated vehicle weight on road service life on the Pare-Pare – Sidrap road section and analyze the type of damage. This research is a cumulative analysis of Equivalent Single Axle Load for 10 years. The results of this research show that the Cumulative Equivalent Single Axle Load overload value is 33,376,700.74, which is greater than the planned Cumulative Equivalent Single Axle Load of 22,391,758.83. So there was a reduction in the plan age of 2.66 years, which should have been 10 years to 7.34 years. The types of damage found on these road sections are potholes, crocodile cracks, longitudinal cracks, grain release, depression, and bleeding.

Abstract

This research was made using gypsum waste which is expected to improve the quality of asphalt concrete to the characteristics and meet the technical requirements to be used as road pavement materials. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of hot mix asphalt (AC-WC) using oil asphalt with variations of gypsum waste in repeated immersion. This study uses an experimental method, namely an experiment to get results, thus it will be seen the utilization of gypsum waste in asphalt concrete construction with variations in gypsum waste levels of 10%, 15%, and 20%. The results showed that the use of gypsum waste will affect the characteristics of the asphalt mixture

Abstract

Upaya untuk meningkatan kualitas perkerasan jalan (aspal) dilakukan salah satunya dengan menambahkan bahan pengisi yang bervariasi guna mendapatkan kualitas aspal yang baik. Untuk mengurangi keterbatasan filler, limbah las karbit bisa dijadikan sebagai bahan pengganti sebagian filler. Sisa las karbit melimpah sebagai limbah. Ketersediaan limbah las karbit di indonesia mudah didapat serta limbah las karbit lebih tahan terhadap perubahan suhu, sehingga lapis permukaan jalan mampu menahan deformasi. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa pengaruh penambahan bahan limbah las karbit sebagai filler terhadap sifat dan karakteristik dari campuran aspal panas dengan variasi perendaman dan Untuk mengetahui penambahan limbah las karbit yang menghasilkan nilai stabilitas maksimal terhadap variasi perendaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan agregat kasar (batu pecah 1-2 dan batu pecah 0,5-1 ), agregat halus (abu batu) dan limbah las karbit. Pembuatan benda uji dengan Kadar Karbit 20%, 30% dan 40%. Perawatan benda uji dilakukan dengan perendaman pada Suhu 60o C dengan waktu, 3, 7, dan 14 hari. Penambahan limbah las karbit yang paling meningkat dan perendaman pada STABILITAS, FLOW, VIM, VFA dan MQ terdapat pada limbah las karbit STABILITAS 20% yaitu 1141.54, perendaman 3 hari dan yang paling menurun yaitu perendaman 14 hari 40% 1066.44. Hasil pengujian Marshall Test variasi bahan tambah limbah karbit penambahan yang terbaik yaitu 20% dengan perendaman 3 hari. Namun penambahan kadar yang lain juga masih dalam batas spesifikasi.

Abstract

In Makassar City, transportation plays an important role in improving population mobility. This increase in mobility in Makassar City has resulted in the use of private vehicles for transportation, which has a number of disadvantages. Bicycle facilities, on the other hand, remain ineffective due to bicycle lanes deemed unsafe from motorized vehicles, poor pavement, and a lack of bicycle signage. The issue raised is also a research topic, namely, how effective is the implementation of bicycle lanes in the Makassar City area? The collection of data on Jalan A. P. Pettarani is one of the study's limitations. Effectiveness is calculated using the BLOS (Bicycle Level of Service) methodology. The BLOS value of 2.94 on Jalan A. P. Pettarani was in the range of 2.5–3.5, rated C, showing that the route was less effective for bicycles. When traffic volume is low or road conditions are described as quiet, add protection for bicycle lanes with speed bumps (Type-A Bicycle Lane) to increase the BLOS value..

Abstract

Asphalt is a cementitious material, dark or dark brown pattern, with the main factor of bitumen obtained from petroleum refining residues acting as an aggregate binder in road making. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of increasing LDPE on Marshall's characteristics in asphalt mixtures with repeated immersion. This study used LDPE plastic waste with an accumulation of 10%, 15%, and 20%. The test item samples were made of 27 variation samples. Treatment of test items was tried with repeated soaking variations of 3, 7, as well as 10 days. The manufacture of test objects is mixed hotly and refers to the 2018 Bina Marga Specifications. Testing was tried with Marshall test kits. The results of this test show that the influence of LDPE plastic waste as an added material on asphalt mixture with repeated immersion can cause density, stability, MQ, and VFB values to shrink. On the contrary, the value of flow, VMA, and VIM increases.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the aggregate characteristics of the Mappak River in Tana Toraja Regency can be used as a pavement material for asphalt mixtures. The method used is the conventional marshall method to obtain the properties of the mixture and marshall immersion to obtain residual marshall stability from the optimum asphalt content mixture. The results of the study indicated that the aggregate characteristics of the Mappak River stone in Tana Toraja Regency with an aggregate wear value of 21.6% met the specifications as a road pavement layer material for Mixed Laston Intermediate Layers with Optimum Asphalt Content of 6.20%, with the mixed properties of Laston Intermediate Layers, namely Density, Stability, flow, VIM, VMA, VFB and Marshall Quentient have met the Specifications of Bina Marga 2018. Through Marshall Immersion testing the Laston Intermediate Layers mixture with Optimum Asphalt Content of 6.20% obtained Remaining Marshall Stability of 95.07%, which means that it meets the Specifications Bina Marga 2018, namely at least 90%..

Abstract

Most of the road construction prosecesses in Indonesia still use convenrional methods, namely using large amounts of aggregate and asphalt, if this is done continuously it use of Reclaimed Asphalt (Cracked Crocodile Skin Asphalt), which is used hot mix material resulting from clod milling exfoliation. This research includes testing the aggregate and Marshall characteristics which were carried out at the Civil Engineering Laboratory Bosowa University. This study aims to determine the characeristics of asphalt mixture (AC-WC) using Reclaimed Asphalt ( Cracked Crocodile Skin Asphalt). As for the addition of new asphalt to Cracked Crocodile Skin Asphalt, namely 1.77%, 2.27%, 2.77%, 3.27%, 3.77% with 1 x 24 hour immersion. This results showed that the addition of new asphalt and immersion would affect the result of the Marshall test.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the performance of roads along the Makassar Maros axis road at KM 23 in front of the Grand Mall to the Batangase market junction due to a u-turn from the results of calculating the large volume of traffic, capacity and level of road service. The focus of this research is located on Jalan Poros Makassar Maros KM 23 starting from the front round of Graha Cemerlang Housing to the front round of Zazil Bakery. The data needed is primary data consisting of geometric road sections, vehicle volume, and vehicle speed and secondary data, namely the 1997 Road Transportation Guidebook and the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI). The results of the analysis are obtained from the calculations at point 1 and point 2 level road services are included in service level D, so the performance of roads along the Makassar - Maros Axis KM 23 (Front of the Grand Mall to the Batangase market junction) due to U-turns is low speed and varies with delays from both the same direction and the opposite opposite direction or traffic conditions are starting to become unstable.
