Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : (1) untuk mengetahui hasil belajar Fisika Dasar mahasiswa yang dibelajarkan dengan strategi pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah lebih tinggi dari pada hasil belajar Fisika Dasar mahasiswa yang dibelajarkan dengan strategi pembelajaran Inkuiri; (2) untuk mengetahui hasil belajar Fisika Dasar mahasiswa yang memiliki gaya berpikir abstrak lebih tinggi daripada hasil belajar Fisika Dasar mahasiswa yang memiliki gaya berpikir Abstrak; dan (3) untuk mengetahui interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan gaya berpikir Abstrak terhadap hasil belajar Fisika Dasar mahasiswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Elektro Sekolah Tinggi Teknik Harapan Medan tahun akademik 2015/2016 yang terdiri dari empat kelas dengan jumlah keseluruhan populasi 145 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cluster random sampling berjumlah 78 masiswa yang terdiri dari 38 mahasiswa kelas A dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan Strategi Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah dan 40 mahasiswa kelas C yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Inkuiri. Instrumen penelitian ini untuk mengukur hasil belajar digunakan tes berbentuk pilihan ganda dengan lima pilihan jawaban dengan jumlah soal sebanyak 38 soal dengan koefisien reliabilitas 0,968. Uji normalitas menggunakan uji Lilliefors sedangkan uji homogenitas dengan uji Fisher dan uji Bartlett. Teknik analisis data adalah Anava dua jalur pada taraf signifikansi α = 0.05 yang dilanjutkan dengan uji Scheffe. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) rata-rata hasil belajar Fisika Dasar mahasiswa yang diajarkan dengan Strategi Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah = 28,5 lebih tinggi dari pada rata-rata hasil belajar Fisika Dasar mahasiswa yang diajarkan dengan Strategi Pembelajaran Inkuiri = 27,27, dengan Fhitung = 13,05 > Ftabel = 3.96; (2) rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dengan Berpikir Abstrak tinggi = 30,3 lebih tinggi dari pada hasil belajar siswa Berpikir Abstrak rendah = 25,9 dengan Fhitung = 4,24 > Ftabel = 3,98 (3) terdapat interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan kemampuan berpikir Abstrak terhadap hasil belajar Fisika Dasar jurusan Teknik Elektro Sekolah Tinggi Teknik Harapan Medan dengan Fhitung = 10,1> Ftabel = 3,9. Dari hasil analisis data disimpulkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran yang tepat digunakan pada mahasiswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir Abstrak tinggi adalah strategi pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah sedangkan mahasiswa dengan berpikir Abstrak rendah, strategi yang tepat digunakan adalah strategi pembelajaran Inkuiri. Implikasi dari penelitian ini secara khusus ditujukan kepada Dosen Fisika Dasar yaitu dalam penerapan strategi pembelajaran memperhatikan karakteristik mahasiswa khususnya karakteristik cara berpikir Abstrak

Motor induksi merupakan jenis motor yang paling umum digunakan. Untuk mendapatkan motor induksi yang handal maka perlu dilakukan perancangan yang optimal. Banyak parameter yang mempengaruhi kehandalan dari motor induksi, baik itu dari segi efisiensi, keamanan dan ekonomi. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan simulasi untuk mengetahui bagaimana kualitas dari desain motor induksi yang dirancang. Pada penelitian ini, akan menganalisis medan putar motor induksi tiga fasa yang merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam kerja motor induksi tiga fasa. Medan putar terjadi apabila kumparan stator dihubungkan dalam fasa banyak, umumnya 3 fasa. Terjadinya medan putar dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor. Pada penelitian ini, didapat bahwa perbedaan jenis beban tidak mempengaruhi karaktersitik dari medan putar motor induksi tiga fasa. Intensitas kemagnetan dari stator maupun rotor motor induksi tiga fasa tersebut juga tidak memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan. Hanya saja terdapat perbedaan karakteristik dari kurva torsi dan kurva arus pada motor induksi tiga fasa dengan jenis beban yang berbeda. Dengan software Ansoft Maxwell hal – hal tersebut dapat digambarkan secara visual.

PT Permodalan Nasional Madani or PNM, is here as a solution to improve welfare through access to capital, assistance and capacity building programs for business actors. Along with business development, in 2016, PNM launched a capital loan service for underprivileged women who are ultra micro business actors through the Fostering a Prosperous Family Economy (PNM Mekaar) program. For this reason, PNM must be more careful and considerate in determining the provision of Mekaar Plus loans. In order not to make mistakes and cause disappointment in the future. So it is necessary to build a system that can be used as a determining and alternative system in determining how to provide Mekaar Plus funds by using a decision support system. This system will be able to make decisions quickly and precisely according to predetermined criteria. So that in the process of giving the blooming funds it can be done more effectively and can reduce the occurrence of errors in the decision-making process. The tool for designing an IoT-based electronic equipment switch system has been designed. This system uses the NodeMCU ESP 8266 microcontroller where the NodeMCU ESP8266 functions as a data processor, and also as a receiver for wi-fi networks emitted by wi-fi network systems. This tool system uses a control system using an Android smartphone to turn on and off switches for electronic devices at home, this tool uses a Wi-Fi network communication system so that the device system and Android smartphone can be connected, in this tool system it uses a DC fan and incandescent lamps as outputs. connected to an electrical switch system, and the switch can turn on and turn off electronic devices on designed devices. The smartphone application used in this design is the Blynk application which can be downloaded at Playstore or Google.com. This tool is expected to help and facilitate humans in controlling electronic equipment at home both at home and when traveling.

Home security is very important in everyday life. Frequent theft at home can make owners feel anxious. One of the factors causing theft is negligence in locking the door of the house and weaknesses in the security system used. Generally, homeowners still rely on manual door locks which are vulnerable to burglary, and often forget to put the key. To improve security, a better security system is needed. This research proposes the application of Internet of Things (IoT) technology to overcome this problem. The aim of this research is to implement IoT in a home door control system using voice commands via Google Assistant. This way, homeowners can lock and unlock doors remotely, which increases home security and reduces the risk of theft. This research designs a prototype control system that can be applied to the door lock concept and controlled using Google Assistant. The use of the NodeMCU module in this research allows an internet connection to control the door of the house efficiently. The research results prove that by using the NodeMCU Module and other devices the IoT system can be implemented, so that locking the door with the IoT system can be successfully carried out

This study aims to design and develop a body temperature control device based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The device is designed with the purpose of accurately and efficiently monitoring and regulating human body temperature. The implementation of IoT technology allows this device to be connected to the internet, facilitating remote monitoring and real-time temperature adjustments. In the design of this device, sensitive temperature sensors are utilized to measure human body temperature. The collected temperature data is transmitted through the internet connection to a platform accessible to users via smart devices such as smartphones or computers. Users can monitor their own body temperature or that of other individuals through a user-friendly application interface. Test results demonstrate that this human body temperature control device is capable of accurately measuring temperature and transmitting data through the internet network effectively. The device's strength lies in its ability to provide real-time body temperature information, which can be useful in health monitoring and early detection of infection or illness symptoms. By combining sensor technology, IoT, and network connectivity, this research produces a device that has the potential to contribute to more advanced and effective public health monitoring, applicable in various contexts including individual health management, medical care, and general health supervision.

Sexual harassment is one of the most common crimes in Indonesia, this act of sexual harassment can occur in daily life regardless of time, whether at work, on the street, or at home. Sexual abuse can come from unknown people, people who have hate, even people we care about. To solve problems that often occur in some cases including cases of sexual harassment that often occur in women based on certain factors, resulting in trauma to the victims who suffer physically, sexually, and psychologically, are required quick action to reduce the number in cases of sexual abuse in the area that often occur using clustering methods so that later it is expected to help the agency in socializing so that the community is more alert while in the place. From the testing conducted using 20 sexual harassment cases data there are 3 groups, namely group 1 there are 9 data and 2 groups there are 5 data and group 3 there are 6 data and it can be known that in cluster 1 is a group in the case data on sexual harassment based on the factors that are many causes with a total of 9 data and located in the age group (X) is 12-16 years, and for the group Sexual Harassment (Y) namely Physical Harassment and causing factor (Z) that is a lot due to individual factors.

The implementation of the Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) algorithm on smart barcodes aims to enhance efficiency and accuracy in recognizing and tracking product data. In this context, barcodes serve as visual representations containing crucial product information. The LVQ algorithm is employed to optimize the classification and matching processes of barcode data with precise references. Through repeated training, this algorithm adapts learning vectors to better recognize barcode variations. In this study, researchers analyze the impact of LVQ algorithm implementation on smart barcode systems concerning identification accuracy, computational efficiency, and adaptability to changes. Experimental results demonstrate the significant benefits of applying barcodes to inventory systems in overall stock management and business efficiency. By utilizing barcode technology, the processes of tracking and recording product data become faster, more accurate, and automated. Barcode usage minimizes human errors, optimizes time, and reduces operational costs. By combining the intelligence of the LVQ algorithm with the potential of barcodes, this research illustrates a crucial advancement in the technology integration domain for the development of more sophisticated and effective systems

Societal activities are intertwined with traffic, and people prefer using vehicles. The lack of education and limited understanding of traffic regulations have led to numerous violations. The increasing number of traffic violations has resulted in a rise in traffic violation data. The abundance of traffic violation data has led to data accumulation within institutions. Therefore, data processing through data mining utilizing the K-Means Algorithm is deemed necessary. Research findings have unveiled a cluster of traffic violation data that stands out as the highest and most frequent during processing: the age group of 17 to 25 years, involving Honda Vario 150 vehicles, and evidence of violations related to driver's licenses (SIM) and vehicle registration certificates (STNK). Test results on three clusters from a dataset of 502 traffic violation records reveal the following: Cluster 1 comprises traffic violation data pertaining to individuals aged 26 to 45 years, using Honda CBR 250 vehicles, and violations tied to driver's licenses (SIM) and vehicle registration certificates (STNK). Cluster 2 includes traffic violation data concerning individuals aged 26 to 45 years, utilizing Suzuki Nex vehicles, and violations involving driver's licenses (SIM) as well as carrying more than one passenger.
