Abstract

Abstract-- The use of technology at this time is very developed along with the development of the times, so there are still many young people who need to get proper teaching. The lessons can be obtained from what parents have taught in the home environment and lecturers at the College. Regardless of the responsibilities of parents at home, we as young people are also obliged to study in school to college to achieve our goals. There are many bona fide universities and even the tuition fees vary, but universities that have expensive fees cannot be used as a benchmark that the university is competent, both from the teaching staff and academic regulations in the college. A competent university is a university that has competent teaching staff. In the Teaching and Learning Process at Higher Education, lecturers have an important role in the success of students in mastering the material given. STMIK Kaputama evaluates the performance of lecturers through 3 (three) variables, namely: Material Variables, Discipline Variables and Attitude Variables. With parameter values: Very Low (SR), Low (R), Enough (C), Good (B) and Very Good (SB), from the parameters the results of the Lecturer Performance Assessment will be known. Then it is necessary to build an application to assess the performance of lecturers using Fuzzy Mamdani with Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), so that the assessment of Lecturer Performance can be assessed quickly. Keywords: Lecturer Performance, Fuzzy Mamdani, PSO

Abstract

Desa Rumah Galuh merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di Kabupaten Langkat Provinsi Sumatra Utara dengan populasi mayoritas terdiri dari keluarga kurang mampu. Penentuan keluarga kurang mampu pada Desa Rumah Galuh selama ini masih dilakukan secara manual memiliki beberapa kelemahan, seperti rentan terhadap subjektivitas, kurangnya standar objektif dalam mengukur tingkat kebutuhan, dan adanya potensi kesalahan dalam pengolahan data. Oleh karena itu, penerapan metode TOPSIS (Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) sebagai metode dalam sistem pendukung keputusan dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif untuk mengatasi kelemahan-kelemahan tersebut.Melalui penerapan metode TOPSIS dalam pendukung keputusan penentuan keluarga kurang mampu di Desa Rumah Galuh, diharapkan akan tercipta proses yang lebih transparan, adil,  terukur,dan terarah dalam penyaluran bantuan kepada keluarga-keluarga yang membutuhkan juga tepat sasaran Hal ini juga dapat membantu pemerintah desa dalam mengalokasikan sumber daya dengan lebih efektif dan memberikan dampak positif bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat desa secara keseluruhan sehingga tepat sasaran

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia memiliki peran penting dalam perkembangan perusahaan dan organisasi, terutama dalam berbagai bidang pekerjaan. Badan Pusat Statistik(BPS) merupakan lembaga pemerintah yang mengelola dan menyediakan data statistik, memerlukan mitra kerja kompeten untuk mendukung tugas-tugasnya. Namun, proses seleksi mitra kerja di BPS masih dilakukan secara manual, yang menyebabkan ketidakefisienan dan kurangnya efektivitas. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, diperlukan sebuah aplikasi Sistem Pendukung Keputusan(SPK) untuk mempermudah proses seleksi dengan menggunakan metode MOORA. Metode ini dirancang untuk mengoptimalkan berbagai kriteria guna mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih tepat dan akurat. Hasil pengembangan sistem menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi tersebut dapat digunakan untuk menilai kriteria dan alternatif sesuai kebutuhan dalam proses rekrutmen mitra kerja di BPS Kabupaten Langkat. Sistem ini dapat melakukan penilaian terhadap 10 alternatif berdasarkan 5 kriteria, dengan bobot yang dapat disesuaikan sesuai kebutuhan.

Abstract

Linear regression methods were used to predict education and income levels in Padang Cermin Desa. Padang Cermin Desa has twelve hamlets and a total of 13,055 residents, with 6,135 men and 6,920 women, and 2545 households. The aim of this study is to raise government and community awareness of the importance of education for welfare and a better life in the future. Using existing data, this study can provide a clear picture of the relationship between education levels and income as well as relevant recommendations to improve the quality of life in Padang Cermin Desa. This research uses a quantitative case study design with secondary data collected through hamlet heads and semi-structured interviews. The linear regression equation Y 36900147.57 + 2516320.971X is based on the MAPE value with a result of 28.25% and an accuracy rate of 71.75%. In the case study of applying linear regression to predict the education level and income of residents, the following are some conclusions: The prediction results show that people with elementary school education are estimated to have an income of 421,897,256.1, while people with secondary school education are estimated to have an income of 311,179,133.4. People who completed a senior high school education are estimated to have the highest income of IDR 457,125,749.7, showing the importance of secondary education. Higher education and vocational education still have the potential to be improved, although the income of the population with education is estimated at IDR 64,579,678.25 for Diploma I/II/III and IDR 79,677,604.08 for Diploma IV/Strata I.

Abstract

One of the systems that can be simulated is a queue. The queuing system consists of a collection of customer servers, a queue that regulates service to customers. The utilization of queuing simulations is to optimize services by designing service resources so that services can be effective and efficient. In the queuing system there are several problems that often occur, for example queuing queues, the number of queues will cause problems such as bored customers, and discomfort will make customers dissatisfied with the service. The Application of the Exponensial Method in the Dentist Patient Service Queuing System There are 28 general populations in this study, namely all consumers at the Kesrem Binjai Hospital, while the target population is the population that is actually used as a data source for patients who queue at the Kesrem Binjai Hospital to get the best service. is the target population in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to design and build an Internet of Things (IoT) based monitoring and control system in a swiftlet building. Swiftlet nest farming is a rapidly growing industry in Indonesia, but still faces challenges in terms of monitoring and optimal environmental management for swiftlet productivity. The system developed integrates sensors to measure critical environmental parameters such as temperature. The research methodology includes hardware design using a microcontroller, sensors, and actuators connected to an IoT network. Software is developed to process sensor data, send it to blynk, and present information through a web interface that can be accessed remotely. This system is also equipped with an automatic control feature to keep environmental parameters within the optimal range. The results of the study show that the system is capable of real-time monitoring and providing notifications when an anomaly occurs. The automatic control feature successfully maintains temperature stability in the swiftlet building, where when the temperature read by the sensor is less than or equal to 25oC the lights will turn on and if the temperature is more than 29oC the lights will turn off. In conclusion, the implementation of this IoT-based monitoring and control system provides an effective solution to increase efficiency and productivity in swiftlet nest farming. This research opens up opportunities for further development in the application of IoT technology in the business sector, especially in swallow farming.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of satisfaction of STMIK Kaputama Binjai students with physical facilities (classrooms, laboratories, prayer rooms, wifi) and general services (administration, academic guidance, library, security, campus cleanliness) using multiple linear regression methods. Data were collected through questionnaires from students in the 2022/2023 academic year. The results showed that both variables have a significant effect on student satisfaction, with a regression coefficient of physical facilities of 0.40 and general services of 0.59, indicating that general services have a greater impact. Prediction of student satisfaction reached an accuracy level of 98% with a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) value of 2%. Laboratory facilities and internet access (wifi) are the dominant factors affecting satisfaction. Based on these findings, improvements in both aspects are recommended to increase student satisfaction and institutional competitiveness.

Abstract

This research aims to design and build a temperature and humidity control device in an Internet of Things (IoT)-based rice storage bin using the Blynk platform, ESP8266 module, DHT22 sensor, buzzer, 2-channel relay, fan, and lamp. The quality of rice is greatly affected by the conditions of the storage environment, especially temperature and humidity. Therefore, a system is needed that is able to monitor and control these two parameters in real-time to maintain the quality of rice during storage. The system is designed to use a DHT22 sensor to detect temperature and humidity, and then the data is sent to a ESP8266 microcontroller. A 2-channel relay sets the fan and lights to adjust the temperature and humidity, while the buzzer serves as a warning alarm. In addition, the system is equipped with an automatic notification feature through the Blynk application that informs users if the temperature or humidity exceeds a predetermined limit.

Abstract

In the digital era, identity documents such as Identity Cards and Family Cards play a crucial role in administration and public services. The process of scanning these documents often results in images with noise that can interfere with data accuracy and identification. This research aims to improve the quality of scanned images by using the median filtering method to reduce salt and pepper noise. Median Filtering was chosen for its ability to preserve edges and details in images, which is crucial for identity documents such as Identity Cards and Family Cards. In this study, the system developed to enhance scanned images was implemented and tested. Evaluation results show that the Median Filtering method is effective in removing noise without damaging the edges and fine details of the images. The evaluation indicates that this system is effective in producing images that meet the quality standards required for official administration and identification. This research is expected to contribute to the development of digital image enhancement technology for identity documents, thus improving accuracy and reliability in public services.

Abstract

Setiap Keluarga harus dapat menyusun rencana keuangan tahunan rumah tangga sehingga dapat melakukan pengelolaan keuangan dengan efektif, efisien dan bermanfaat. Dengan menyusun rencana tahunan dapat membantu setiap rumah tangga untuk mengatur dan mengelola keuangan dengan meyeimbangkan antara pemasukan dengan pengeluaran keluarga sehingga dapat mencukupi kebutuhan keluarga dan menciptakan kehidupan rumah tangga yang bahagia dan sejahtera. Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Desa Semangat Gunung Kecamatan Merdeka Kabupaten Karo Sumatera Utara yang diadakan di Aula Kantor Desa yang dihadiri oleh Kepala Desa, Aparat Desa dengan peserta pelatihan Ibu-Ibu Rumah Tangga. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk menambah pengetahuan dan wawasan Ibu - Ibu rumah tangga dalam melakukan perencanaan keuangan tahunan. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini diharapkan Ibu-Ibu rumah tangga dapat melakukan perencanaan keuangan setiap tahunnya disetiap keluarga sehingga dapat mengelola keuangan yang diperoleh dari penghasilan maupun gaji yang dihasilkan setiap keluarga. Keseimbangan antara pemasukan dan pengeluaran keluarga dapat menghindarkan kita dari perilaku konsumtif. Perilaku Konsumtif dapat dihindari dengan cara membuat menu makanan setiap minggu, belanja-belanja bahan sesuai catatan dan menabung uang atau emas. Kata Kunci : perencanaan keuangan, pengelolan keuangan
