Abstract

Indonesia is a country with a Muslim population of 229.62 million people or around 87.2% of the total population. Consuming and using halal products is an obligation that must be carried out by Muslims so that it has become a lifestyle or halal lifestyle. The Indonesian government has issued a law regarding the obligation of halal certification to guarantee the halalness of a product. Socialization to business actors is an activity that must be carried out to provide information and understanding regarding the obligations of halal certification and providing a halal label on every product circulating in Indonesia. The benefits of halal certification and labeling products are that it can increase consumer confidence because it is guaranteed to be halal, has a USP (Unique Selling Point), is able to penetrate the global halal market, increases product marketability in the market, is a cheap investment compared to the revenue growth that can be achieved . Apart from that, registration to apply for halal certification is also relatively easy and fast via the SIHALAL website.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan Negara dengan populasi muslim mencapai 229,62 juta jiwa atau sekitar 87.2% dari total populasi. Mengkonsumsi dan menggunakan produk halal adalah sebuah kewajiban yang harus dilaksakan oleh umat muslim sehingga sudah menjadi gaya hidup atau halal lifestyle. Pemerintah Indonesia sudah mengeluarkan undang-undang mengenai kewajiban sertifikasi halal untuk menjamin kehalalan sebuah produk. Sosialisai kepada para pelaku usaha merupakan suatu kegiatan yang wajib dilakukan untuk memberikan informasi dan pemahaman mengenai kewajiban sertifikasi halal dan memberikan label halal pada setiap produk yang beredar di Indonesia. Adapun manfaat dari sertifikasi halal dan pemberian label pada produk ialah dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen karena terjamin kehalalannya, memiliki USP (Unique Selling Point), Mampu menembus pasar halal global, meningkatkan marketability produk di pasar, investasi yang murah jika dibandingkan dengan pertumbuhan revenue yang dapat dicapai. Selain itu pendaftaran untuk mengajukan sertifikasi halal juga sudah tergolong mudah dan cepat melalui website SIHALAL.

Abstract

The aim of this service is to develop the entrepreneurial abilities of students at the Aspiration Institute of Technology and Health. Entrepreneurship service activities are carried out with three series of activities, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation activities. After carrying out this service activity, there was an increase in students' understanding of entrepreneurship. The measurement results show that 31% of students really understand, 63% understand and 6% don't understand. These results indicate that student entrepreneurship service activities provide benefits in increasing student understanding
