Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how Al-Furqon High School implements student management, so that later students at Al-Furqon High School can improve student achievement and at the same time improve the quality of the school. Through planning, organizing, supervision, and evaluation, with the main focus being on monitoring student activities as a whole, both outside and inside the classroom. This analysis includes guidance and counseling services, outdoor and indoor learning, student discipline, and student involvement in extracurricular activities, which will later support student talents and potential both in academic and non-academic fields. The principal, BK teacher, homeroom teacher, and students are the subjects of the study. This research method uses a qualitative research approach and collects data through observation, documentation, and interviews. Primary data sources are taken through direct observation results in the field, recordings of interview results that are first converted into word form and then we draw conclusions. Meanwhile, secondary data is taken through journals, books, and official school documents such as learning outcomes. The collected data is then analyzed through several stages which will later make it easier to draw conclusions. The results of the study theoretically show that organized student management with teacher supervision, communication between teachers and parents, and student involvement in school activities greatly contribute to student achievement and school quality. Practically, this study can be a guide for schools to improve student management, by increasing communication between teachers and parents, and designing programs to support student academic success and improve school quality.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Masalah kesehatan yang terjadi pada anak sekolah antara lain karies gigi, cacingan, ketajaman penglihatan, masalah gizi, dan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) seperti menggosok gigi dan mencuci tangan dengan baik dan benar. Tujuan : kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan tindakan siswa-siswi dalam melakukan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat dilingkungan sekolah, agar terhindar dari berbagai jenis masalah kesehatan yang dapat terjadi. Metode : Kegiatan ini dilakukan di SD Negeri No.1000208 Desa Siamporik Dolok, Kecamatan Angkola Selatan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dari bulan Juni-Juli 2024. Populasi kegiatan ini adalah seluruh siswa-siswi SD mulai dari kelas I- kelas V sejumlah 60 orang siswa. Pemilihan peer educator ini dilakukan dengan kriteria yang sudah ditentukan yaitu : 1). Keaktifan dikelas , 2). Mempunyai kemampuan komunikasi yang baik, 3) Mendapatkan point tertinggi pertama sampai ketiga tiap kelasnya saat dilaksanakannya kegiatan pre test berupa pengisian koesioner, 4) Mempunyai kemampuan memimpin dan mempengaruhi teman , serta 5). Disiplin. Hasil : Pesan yang disampaikan oleh educator cilik mampu dipahami dan diaplikasikan dengan baik, siswa-siswi dapat terdorong dalam menerapkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat di sekolah. Kesimpulan : Pendidikan kesehatan metode peer education dapat memperbaiki pengetahuan siswa tentang konsep dasar PHBS sehingga dapat meningkatkan antusiasme siswa untuk melakukan kegiatan PHBS setelah terjadi perubahan sikap dan perilaku. ABSTRACT Health problems that occur in school children include dental caries, worms, visual acuity, nutritional problems, and Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) such as brushing teeth and washing hands properly and correctly. Objective: This activity aims to increase students' understanding and actions in carrying out clean and healthy living behavior in the school environment, in order to avoid various types of health problems that can occur. Method: This activity was carried out at SD Negeri No.1000208 Siamporik Dolok Village, South Angkola District. This activity will be carried out from June-July 2024. The population of this activity is all elementary school students from class I to class V, totaling 60 students. The selection of peer educators is carried out using predetermined criteria, namely: 1). Activeness in class, 2). Have good communication skills, 3) Get the first to third highest points in each class when carrying out pre-test activities in the form of filling out questionnaires, 4) Have the ability to lead and influence friends, and 5). Discipline. Results: The messages conveyed by the little educators were able to be understood and applied well, students were encouraged to adopt clean and healthy living behavior at school. Conclusion: Health education using the peer education method can improve students' knowledge of the basic concepts of PHBS so that it can increase students' enthusiasm for carrying out PHBS activities after changes in attitudes and behavior occur.

Abstract

According to The International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience due to damage or threat of tissue damage. When there is damage to body tissue, such as surgery, it will produce damaged cells with the consequence of releasing algesic chemicals that can cause pain. Most clinical guidelines recommend NSAIDs as first-line treatment for pain. The use of NSAID drugs has several side effects including increasing the risk of impaired renal function, bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract, myocardial infarction and stroke. Various side effects caused by using NSAID drugs, then treatment using herbal medicine to treat pain is still an alternative treatment that is expected to have smaller side effects. One plant that is very useful as a medicine is the mahang plant. Based on the results of research, the methanol extract of mahang leaves contains alkaloid, flavonoid, polyphenol and terpenoid/steroid compounds. Flavonoids are secondary metabolite compounds contained in mahang leaf extract which are thought to have pharmacological effects as analgesic agents. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the presence or absence of analgesic activity of mahang leaf extract. This research method is the Tail Flick Test Method using heat as a pain inducer. The administration of mahang leaf extract (Macaranga bancana) to male white mice (Mus musculus L.) can reduce pain due to hot water stimulation as indicated by the extension of the tail flick response time. The optimum concentration of mahang leaf extract that gives analgesic effect is the concentration of mahang leaf extract 400mg/KgBB.

Abstract

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a developmental condition that affects a child's ability to interact socially, communicate, and exhibit certain behaviors. Early detection is crucial in determining the effectiveness of interventions and improving the child's quality of life. This community service program is designed to broaden the understanding of parents and health center staff regarding the urgency of early autism risk screening through the Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers (M-CHAT). The program was implemented in Pekon Tambahrejo, Pringsewu District, involving 20 children aged 16 to 30 months and their parents. The implementation approach includes information sessions, M-CHAT form filling simulation exercises, active participant discussions, and pre- and post-tests to measure knowledge improvement. The program results showed an increase in participants' knowledge from 60% to 90% after education, reflecting the success of interactive learning methods. Based on the M-CHAT screening, all children examined showed “normal” results or were not at risk of autism. These findings indicate that education and training initiatives can raise public awareness of the importance of early detection of developmental disorders. In addition, this program serves as an example of the application of M-CHAT screening in maternal and child health (MCH) services at community health centers and integrated health service posts, thereby supporting promotion and prevention activities in the First 8000 Days of Life Program.

Abstract

Perpustakaan yang berfungsi sebagai pusat sumber informasi, menjadi pondasi kemajuan institusi, terutama di bidang pendidikan. Sebagian besar perpustakaan yang ada di perguruan tinggi, sekolah, dan tempat umum masih menggunakan buku pengunjung manual untuk akses masuk dan keluar perpustakaan. Hal ini dianggap kurang efektif karena tidak menjamin keamanan data pengunjung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun suatu sistem identifikasi menggunakan QR Code dengan mengimplementasikan fungsi dari modul kamera ESP32-CAM sebagai teknologi pemindaiannya, serta diintegrasikan dengan database menggunakan bahasa pemrograman berupa HTML dan PHP. Library quirc.h diimplementasikan untuk melakukan proses decoding pada QR Code, sehingga ESP32-CAM dapat difungsikan sebagai pemindainya. Pengujian dilakukan dengan cara melakukan pemindaian gambar QR Code ke modul ESP32-CAM, lalu sistem akan mendeteksi serta memproses gambar tersebut, jika gambar yang dipindai dinyatakan valid maka data pengunjung akan masuk ke database. Hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan tingkat keberhasilan sebesar 90% dengan rata-rata waktu scan sebesar 8.1 detik. Berdasarkan hasil uji yang didapatkan, sistem ini layak untuk diimplementasikan pada sistem identifikasi pengunjung perpustakaan.
