The development of the gig economy and cross-border remote work has significantly changed the face of the world of work but also poses complex regulatory challenges. This research aims to identify and analyse the regulatory challenges faced in the context of the gig economy and cross-border remote work and evaluate the policy responses from various countries. The method used is a literature review by examining scientific literature, national and international regulations, and related policy reports. The results showed that the unclear legal status of workers, differences in regulations between countries, taxation issues, and limited social protection are the main obstacles. This research recommends the need for adaptive regulatory reforms and international collaboration to create an inclusive and equitable legal framework to support sustainable growth of the digital economy and protect workers' rights.

Abstract

The adoption of digital agricultural technologies is regarded as a pivotal measure for enhancing productivity and efficiency in Indonesia's paddy farming sector. This research is concerned with the factors that influence the adoption of digital technologies among paddy farmers in Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan. A quantitative approach was employed in the study, which involved 150 farmers. The role of government support, farmer characteristics, mentoring, and perceptions in promoting agricultural digitalisation was analysed. The findings indicate that the role of the government, particularly in the development of infrastructure and the provision of financial assistance, is the most significant factor influencing the adoption of digital technologies. Mentoring programs, in particular those that concentrate on the spheres of education and motivation, also assume a pivotal role. However, contrary to expectations, farmers' perceptions alone do not significantly impact their decision to adopt digital technologies. This suggests that, while attitudes towards technology are favourable, structural and educational support are vital for effective implementation. The study concludes that the key factors in fostering digital transformation in the region's agricultural sector are the enhancement of infrastructure, the provision of targeted training, and the offering of financial incentives.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the Productivity of Traditional Fishermen in the Midst of Fluctuations in the Increase in Subsidized Fuel Oil. In this study, the author optimally uses two data sources related to this study, namely. Primary data sources and secondary data sources. The main sources of this research are books and scientific journals on Traditional Fishermen Productivity. At the same time, this research is supported (secondary) by other works of thought related to the results of research related to the Fluctuation of Subsidized Fuel Oil Increases. The results of this research are that the fuel subsidy policy has a very important role in supporting the continuity of traditional fishermen's businesses, especially in the face of frequent fluctuations in fuel prices. By reducing operational costs, fuel subsidies help fishermen maintain productivity, improve social welfare, and support the sustainability of the fisheries sector. However, to achieve maximum benefits, it is important for the government to manage subsidies in a targeted, efficient, and supportive manner of using environmentally friendly technologies that reduce dependence on fossil fuels Dependence on fuel oil (BBM) has a major impact on the resilience of the traditional fisheries sector, both in terms of economy and environment. This dependence not only creates dependence on limited natural resources but also increases environmental damage, pollutes waters, and contributes to global warming. Therefore, it is important for fishermen and governments to develop more efficient and environmentally friendly energy alternatives to reduce dependence on fuel and support the sustainability of natural resources and marine ecosystems that depend on environmental balance
