Abstract

Alat Transportasi laut / kapal laut niaga saat ini adalah urat nadi distribusi dari perekonomian bangsa Indonesia. Untuk memindahkan atau mengantarkan barang dari satu tempat ketempat lain dalam jumlah besar dengan biaya ekonomis. Kapal laut niaga memiliki 2 (dua) departemen, departemen Nautika dan Teknika, untuk Kelancaran Operasional kapal laut niaga tentunya harus disertai dengan sinergi dari 2 belah pihak, pada tulisan ini kami khususkan pada departemen Teknika yang memiliki tugas dan fungsi untuk menjaga kelancaran pengoperasian permesinan secara berkelanjutan, dari Mesin Induk, dan pesawat bantu lainnya. Pompa tersebut merupakan salah satu komponen penting di atas kapal yang harus dijaga dalam perawatan dan perbaikannya, agar pengoperasian mesin induk berjalan lancar. Sistem pendingin merupakan sistem yang berfungsi menjaga temperatur mesin pada suhu tertentu sesuai dengan desain yang ditentukan agar mesin diesel dapat beroperasi secara berkelanjutan. Mesin Diesel yang beroperasi menghasilkan panas dengan suhu Sistem pendingin ini terdiri dari beberapa komponen penyusun yang utamanya untuk mendinginkan blok mesin, selain mendinginkan blok mesin, sistem pendingin juga mendinginkan pelumas, scavange air dan water jacket (Julianto, 2019). Komponen yang berfungsi mendinginkan air tawar ini umumnya disebut sebagai heat exchanger/fresh water cooler. Apabila pompa berjalan normal maka hasil temperatur pendinginan juga akan normal apabila pompa berjalan normal dengan tekanan 2.0 bar maka hasil temperatur yang didinginkan dari fresh water cooler yaitu sekitar 44-54 celcius. Pada pelayaran dari palembang menuju ke cilacap terdapat kejadian yang tidak normal pada pompa pendingin air laut tekanannya tertera 1.5 Bar dan mengakibatkan panasnya temperatur fresh water cooler dengan temperatur 58-62 celcius yang menyebabkan peningkatan suhu mesin induk dan mengganggu operasonal mesin induk pada kapal MV. Abstract

Prevention of contamination by sewage on ships can be overcome by using an auxiliary sewage treatment plant, a sewage treatment plant is a liquid waste treatment installation which is generally intended for domestic waste in the form of feces and laundry residue containing detergents which are harmful to the environment by utilizing aerobic bacteria as waste decomposers and UV sterilizers as a neutralizer for waste parameters. However, in reality when the author and engineer 3 conducted regular tests on the processed water content of the sewage treatment plant from May 4 2021 to May 25 2021, the results of the waste parameters were not in accordance with the manual book. So, according to the test results above, the authors take 3 causes for the decline in the quality of processed water which is the background for writing this thesis, namely the operation of the aeration blower is ineffective, the UV sterilizer does not function properly and the accumulation of sludge or excessive solid residue in the separation tank section. The research method used is descriptive. The approach method used is a qualitative approach method with data collection techniques carried out by means of observation and documentation based on data analysis techniques carried out using root cause analysis (RCA) techniques carried out on the MV ship. CK ANGIE from 11 December 2020 to 24 January 2022. the operation of the aeration blower is ineffective, If the uv sterilizer does not function properly, the cause of the problem is the dirty blower air filter and dirty blower air inlet pipe and the uv sterilizer section is caused by the life of the uv lamp which has exceeded running hours and the uv jacket is dirty. And for engine cadets to pay attention to the exhaust air pressure from the aeration blower so that when the exhaust air pressure from the aeration blower starts to decrease, they can immediately report it to the engineer in charge. suggestions for maintaining the performance of the UV Sterilizer are to pay more attention to the usage period or running hours of the UV Lamp so that the effectiveness of the UV Lamp continues to function properly. And for the jacket section of the UV sterilizer to be cleaned regularly by implementing a regular planned maintenance system (PMS)..

Abstract

In the 20th century, the growth of marine transportation has grown rapidly in line with technological advances. Given that the marine transportation sector is one of the pollutants that exist today, the use of energy sources with better thermal efficiency and combustion that does not have a negative impact on the environment is needed in the modern era. In accordance with the regulations stipulated by IMO in the Marine Polution (Marpol) Annex VI Regulation 14 which regulates the prohibition of ships from using fuels with sulfur content higher than 0.5%. The need for alternative fuels in the shipping industry is an important thought to support the efficiency of the shipping industry. Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) is currently being developed by the government as a fuel for vehicles and environmentally friendly industries. In addition to its availability, natural gas is also considered effective for combustion. Methane / LNG gas is one of the most dominant alternative fuels at this time. This fuel can also save company expenses, namely reducing the cost of providing fuel for energy needs as a source of propulsion on board the ship. For the above, ships, especially LNG carriers, have used a lot of diesel engines to propel their ships using LNG fuel with the concept of the engine being Two Fuel Diesel Electric (DFDE) where the engine can use Marine Diesel Oil (MDO) and LNG. The DFDE engine drives the Generator and the Generator generates electricity to drive the Electric Motor and the Electric motor moves the propeller shaft, this DFDE engine in the future will replace conventional diesel engines because it is more cost efficient, but requires Engineers who understand DFDE engine technology.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat mengenai pemberian materi penyuluhan penanggulangan penularan Covid-19 bagi masyarakat Rusunawa Marunda Jakarta Utara telah terlaksana dengan baik. Selain penyuluhan kegiatan pengabdian ini juga memberikan daya tahan tubuh dan pemberian sembako secara gratis terhadap masyarakat rusunawa Marunda Jakarta Utara. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan agar masyarakat mengetahui cara penanggulangan penularan pandemi yang terjadi di dunia yaitu Corona Virus 19. Masyarakat dengan adanya pengabdian ini mendapatkan respon yang antusias dari masyarakat Marunda Jakarta Utara. Dari hasil pengabdian masyarakat dapat lebih berhati-hati dengan adanya pandemi Covid-19 yang belum tau kapan akan berakhir. Kegiatan pengabdian seperti ini dapat dilakukan secara rutin baik di lokasi yang sama maupun yang berbeda dengan sasaran masyarakat yang benar-benar membutuhkan.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat mengenai Penyuluhan Dan Pelatihan Teknik Dasar Pengetahuan Mengelas Bagi Masyarakat Nelayan Kelurahan Marunda Di Lingkungan Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Pelayaran Jakarta telah terlaksana dengan baik. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan di laboratorium bengkel dan las STIP. Mengelas adalah menyambung dua bagian logam atau lebih dengan menggunakan energi panas. Pengetahuan pengelasan yang berkembang saat ini adalah proses las friction welding, yaitu pengelasan menggunakan energi putaran yang selanjutnya akan terjadi gesekan dan menimbulkan panas yang tinggi sehingga dapat digunakan untuk proses pengelasan. Memberikan pelatihan teknik mengelas dengan materi pembelajaran teori dan praktek. Pelatihan ini dilakukan agar warga masyarakat Kelurahan Marunda memiliki keahlian atau kompetensi untuk membuat usaha ataupun dapat bersaing dalam mencari pekerjaan. Kegiatan pengabdian seperti ini dapat dilakukan secara rutin baik di lokasi yang sama maupun yang berbeda dengan sasaran masyarakat yang benar-benar membutuhkan.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat mengenai Pelatihan Dan Pengembangan Ilmu Pengetahuan Tentang Teknik Membubut Dalam Rangka Meningkatkan Keterampilan Bagi Masyarakat Nelayan Kelurahan Marunda Di Lingkungan Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Pelayaran telah terlaksana dengan baik. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan di laboratorium bubut. Proses bubut adalah proses pemesinan untuk menghasilkan bagian – bagian mesin berbentuk silindris yang dikerjakan dengan menggunakan mesin bubut. Prinsip dasarnya dapat didefinisikan sebagai proses pemesinan permukaan luar benda silindris atau bubut rata dengan benda kerja yang berputar, dengan satu pahat bermata potong tunggal (with a single-pointcutting tool), dengan gerakan pahat sejajar terhadap sumbu benda kerja pada jarak tertentu sehingga akan membuang permukaan luar benda kerja. Memberikan pelatihan teknik membubut dengan materi pembelajaran teori dan praktek. Pelatihan ini dilakukan agar warga masyarakat Kelurahan Marunda memiliki keahlian atau kompetensi untuk membuat usaha ataupun dapat bersaing dalam mencari pekerjaan. agar masyarakat pengecekan kesehatan yang optimal adalah langkah yang harus dilakukan untuk membantu masyarakat dan mencegah terjadinya ketidakpedulian masyarakat terhadap kesehatan. Kegiatan pengabdian seperti ini dapat dilakukan secara rutin baik di lokasi yang sama maupun yang berbeda dengan sasaran masyarakat yang benar-benar membutuhkan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of ISM Code Implementation and Crew Competence on Safety Awareness and its effect on Work Accident Prevention among crew members at PT Asia Maritim Temas. The main issue faced is the low level of safety awareness and the high number of work-related accidents among crew members, which affects the operational safety of the vessels. This research employs a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design, involving 155 ship officers selected through saturated sampling. Data collection was done using questionnaires, and the data were analyzed using SmartPLS to examine the direct and indirect effects between the variables. The results show that ISM Code Implementation has a significant effect on Safety Awareness and Work Accident Prevention (t-value = 3.750), while Crew Competence also has a significant effect on Safety Awareness and Work Accident Prevention. Both variables also have an indirect effect on Work Accident Prevention through Safety Awareness. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of the ISM Code and the enhancement of crew competence can improve safety awareness, which in turn can prevent work accidents on board. It is recommended to strengthen the implementation of ISM Code and safety training programs for crew members. Future research could explore this topic in more depth using a qualitative approach to better understand the challenges and perceptions of crew members regarding the implementation of safety measures

Abstract

This qualitative research examines contextual theology implementation effectiveness in Bekasi and North Jakarta through comprehensive analysis of perspectives from pastors, theological educators, and church workers. The study employs semi-structured interviews with ten key stakeholders to assess current biblical integration approaches, identify gaps between theological knowledge and urban engagement, and develop evidence-based enhancement frameworks. Findings reveal strong biblical foundations alongside critical opportunities in community engagement programming, environmental stewardship, and interfaith collaboration. The research demonstrates substantial correlation between systematic contextual theology development and enhanced community relevance, social transformation impact, and Christian witness effectiveness. Community engagement programming emerges as the highest-impact improvement opportunity, while environmental stewardship initiatives and collaborative partnerships represent critical enhancement priorities. Results indicate exceptional readiness for coordinated development initiatives that leverage existing theological capacity while addressing contemporary urban challenges. The study contributes valuable insights regarding contextual theology implementation in Southeast Asian urban contexts while providing transferable frameworks for biblical integration with social challenges in diverse environments. Recommendations emphasize systematic community engagement establishment, interfaith partnership development, and institutional collaboration that enhances both theological relevance and practical community transformation effectiveness.
