Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the level of students' metacognition skills and creative thinking in the generalization of a two-dimensional arithmetic sequence. A qualitative descriptive is a scientific approach used in this study. Students' of the Mathematics Education Study Program in Tarbiyah Faculty of Ibrahimy University are subjects in the study. Through this article, the author will describe the results of the research in the combinatorics course. The initial data was collected by assigning open problem-solving assignments to students and conducting documentation studies on students in generating arithmetic generalization patterns based on function formulae. Then, students are assigned to complete the second task, which is to compile a two-dimensional arithmetic sequence based on the multilevel function formula of arranged arithmetic. The analysis model of Miles and Huberman is the analytical methodology used in this study. The collected data indicated that the level of students’ creative thinking skills in combinatorics could be in the category of creative enough (16.67%), creative (50%), and very creative (33.33%). While the other analyzed data showed that the student’s level of metacognitive on level 3 (77.78%) and the remainder on level 4 (22.22%). These analysis results are influenced by several factors such as accuracy in compiling numbers and expanding data, conceptual mastery of arithmetic progression permutation concept, and its application, the tendency of students’ to rely on memorization and imitation of the examples.

Abstract

Anemia, vaginal discharge, menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea are some of the reproductive health problems experienced by women both on a mild to severe scale. And some can be fatal to death. However, reproductive health problems are not balanced with the level of knowledge by women about the problems experienced. So it is not uncommon, the women only realize after the situation is getting worse. Therefore an information system is needed that can help women early detect reproductive health problems experienced by women, one of them with an expert system. The purpose of this study was to create a Screening of Reproductive Health (SHE) application in an effort to improve Women's Reproductive Health. The research method used the expert system design method by coding and decision tables, making decision trees and flowcharts. conduct stages of data collection in the form of problem domain discussions with experts, literature studies, decision tree discussions with experts and trials to 30 respondents. The results showed that the expert system had been made according to the design and had produced the solutions needed in reproducing reproductive health along with suggestions and recommendations from the diagnosis results.

Abstract

The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK) is one of the faculty under the Situbondo Ibrahimy University that develops education in health sector, which in its implementation of the learning process do a lot of practicum both in the laboratory or in the classroom. One of the laboratories is midwifery laboratory. Midwifery laboratory of FIK serves the lending of tools, rooms and packages to students and lecturers, both to be used for the learning process, or to the needs of research and community service. The lending transaction process, with many packages containing a variety of tools, requires an effective and efficient recording data system. The purpose of this research is to help the staffs of midwifery laboratory to serve all the processes of lending, returning, procuring and repairing equipment. This information system provides information about student activity in practicing and using tools in the midwifery laboratory, as well as the availability of tools with student ratios so that they can become decision support for faculty leaders in the procurement and monitoring of tool use in the laboratory.

Abstract

The problem found was ineffective service because the information was not appropriately conveyed to the parents of toddlers because the cadres did the recording and counting manually. Age calculations were carried out every month by cadres using a specific formula. In addition, determining nutritional status was also done manually by matching the examination data with the Z-score table according to the sex, weight, and height of each toddler. Due to limited human resources, this was often not done, so the nutritional status of toddlers was not filled, and parents did not know for sure the nutritional status of their toddlers. Solution provided by implementing an information system referred to as e-posyandu. E-posyandu can display a recapitulation of toddler examinations in real-time, which can be monitored directly by the responsible local health center midwife. The implementation method in this study is divided into several stages: problem identification, system design, information system development, and implementation. The results obtained are that e-posyandu can assist Posyandu Delima cadres in recording development and growth digitally, thus facilitating and improving the quality of cadre services in carrying out posyandu checks can also help parents to monitor the results of the toddlers' development and growth

Abstract

Technology advancements in the world of information have made it easier for many people to process data. Data mining is a process of mining more valuable information from large data sets. The research aims to determine the difference between the C.45 and random forest algorithms in data mining to predict the childbirth process of pregnant women. It compares the accuracy of the performance results of the C4.5 and random forest algorithms to predict the delivery process for pregnant women. Then, experimental research is conducted to classify the childbirth process in Situbondo, Indonesia, by applying the C.45 and the random forest algorithm in the data mining. The decision tree J48 algorithm is used for the C4.5 algorithm in the research. Both algorithms are compared for their error classification and accuracy level. The research uses 1,000 data for training and 200 data for testing. The results show the accuracy of implementing the C4.5 and random forest algorithms with data mining using 10-fold cross-validation, generating 96% and 95% as correctly classified data. Then, the Relative Absolute Error for both algorithms has the same result. It is 15%. The C4.5 algorithm has a better result than the random forest algorithm by comparing the performance results. Further research can add more data to improve the accuracy of the analysis results by using another algorithm.

Abstract

Memenuhi target pertolongan persalinan adalah salah satu syarat kelulusan bagi mahasiswa kebidanan Universitas Ibrahimy. Dalam memenuhi target itu, mahasiswa didistribusikan untuk melakukan praktik klinik kebidanan salah satunya di Bidan Praktik Swasta (BPS) di wilayah Banyuputih. Pada pelaksanaannya, jumlah pertolongan persalinan dalam tiap BPS tidak sama, bahkan ada beberapa BPS yang tidak mendapat pasien ketika mahasiswa sedang melakukan praktik klinik. Dari total 25 BPS yang ada di Kecamatan Banyuputih, hanya beberapa BPS yang digunakan sebagai lahan praktik klinik kebidanan oleh Universitas Ibrahimy. Karena hal itu, pasien bersalin di BPS lain yang bukan lahan praktik tidak dapat digunakan sebagai pemenuhan target pertolongan persalinan mahasiswa. Sistem Informasi Pertolongan Persalinan Mahasiswa Kebidanan Universitas Ibrahimy (SIPPMABID) dapat menjadi solusi untuk permasalahan tersebut, peneliti berinisiatif membangun sistem informasi ini sebagai sarana dan media berbagi informasi tentang pertolongan persalinan yang dapat digunakan oleh BPS dan Universitas Ibrahimy. Dengan adanya sistem informasi ini, semua BPS dapat berinteraksi di dalam sistem dalam memberikan informasi pertolongan persalinan sehingga mahasiswa dapat mendatangi BPS yang sedang melakukan pertolongan. Pada alur proses, pihak akademik memiliki akses untuk melihat laporan dari hasil pemrosesan yang dilakukan oleh SIPPMABID. BPS memiliki akses untuk memberikan informasi pertolongan persalinan kepada bidan lain yang bertugas sebagai CI (Clinical Instructor). Sedangkan CI dapat mengklaim persalinan yang diberikan oleh BPS, dan mahasiswa yang melakukan praktik di CI  tersebut dapat melakukan pertolongan persalinan dengan dihitung sebagai pemenuhan target. Output SIPPMABID yaitu berupa rekapitulasi jumlah persalinan, baik dari BPS ataupun CI yang dapat digunakan sebagai pendukung keputusan akademik untuk penentuan lahan praktik selanjutnya.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the level of mathematical reasoning ability of students in solving mathematical Olympiad problems based on problem-solving of the Polya model. This study employed descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. Data were collected by using observation, documentation, and interviews. The study subjects were 27 junior high school students participating in the National Science Competition in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the Miles and Huberman analysis model was used as the data analysis. The results of this study indicated that: (1) the level of students’ mathematical reasoning-ability based on the problem-solving of Polya models in the category of "sufficiently competent" (high-group students), in the category of "less competent" (medium-group students), and in the category of "incompetent" (low-group students); (2) the most complex and rarely performed stages by students in Polya’s model were at the "devising a plan" and "looking back" stages; and (3) the Polya's model used in solving mathematical Olympiad test items was more suitable for those considered as routine-questions, and it was not suitable for non-routine questions. This study also showed that, on average, the students had difficulty finding initial ideas to start working on the test items.

Abstract

Payroll can be defined as a form of service system used to make salary payments every month. With a payroll system, the process from start to finish when salaries are paid can run according to what each employee expects. At MTS Nurul Khoiroh, the current payroll system has several obstacles, where the teacher payroll process is still done manually. Payroll data is still calculated and recorded using the Microsoft Excel program and is not in the form of a database, so it is susceptible to loss and errors in data recapitulation at the end of the month. Based on these problems, an application will be created to handle the processing of salary calculation data which is the right of teachers and employees, starting from the process of calculating the basic salary to calculating allowances. The application was built using the waterfall method and with the PHP programming language. With this system, it is hoped that it will make it easier for school treasurers to manage data while also helping to increase the efficiency of the payroll process so that it becomes faster and more accurate.

Abstract

Keuangan merupakan sesuatu yang penting dalam suatu instansi atau perusahaan. Di era globalisasi seperti saat ini, semua pencatatandan pendataan yang menyangkut laporan keuangan dituntut untuk tepat, cermat dan cepat. Untukmendukung hal tersebut, Kantor Bidang Kepesantrenan PP. Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Sukorejo memerlukan sebuah aplikasi yang bisa membantu petugas dalam mencatat, mendata dan membuat laporan keuangan yang disebut Sistem Informasi Pelaporan Keuangan. Sistem Informasi ini dibangun untuk membuat laporan keuangan. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan dalammerancang sistem ini adalah metode SDLC, dengan memanfaatkan web sebagai media akses denganbahasa pemrograman PHP dengan Apache sebagai web server dan database menggunakan MySQL. Penelitian yang dilakukan diharapkan dapat membantu petugas dalam mencatat data transaksi keuangan, menyimpan dan memroses datayang telah diinputkan menjadi sebuah informasi yang berupa laporan keuangan bulanan dan permohonan anggaran untuk setiap bulan.

Abstract

In the millennial era, most students consider mathematics a difficult subject, so mathematics can be a scary threat to them when this subject takes place. Conditions like this occur for two reasons: problem-solving is difficult, or they get an educator who is usually called a killer. This research aims to teach students that difficult mathematics problems can be solved using the Polya model. The research method used is qualitative, with technical data collection in interviews, questionnaires, tests, and observations. The data analysis was done using the Miles and Huberman models. There were 16 High School students, Ibrahimy Sukorejo, who were the subjects of this research to provide research results on the urgency of using the Polya model. The research results show that (1) The test results of students using the Polya model were obtained for the categories of very critical (12.5%), critical (12.5%), quite critical (37.5%), less critical (18.75%), and not critical (18.75%); (2) the results of the analysis using Shapiro-Wilk on SPSS software showed that the research had a normal distribution because the final significance results were 0.823 and 0.998 > 0.05; and (3) the results of the analysis also show the advantages felt by Polya model users over non-Polya models. There is great hope for students, especially in mathematics, who can apply the Polya model to every mathematical problem they face to find answers to these problems and a systematic way of thinking to solve them.
