Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang perbandingan penerapan model pembelajaran Quantum Learning dan Quantum Teaching terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP IT Wahdah Islamiyah Makassar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang diajar dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Quantum Learning; (2) mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang diajar dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching; (3) mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Quantum Learning dengan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis Quasi Experiment dengan design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas VIII B2 dan Kelas VIII B3 yaitu 60 orang dari jumlah keseluruhan siswa kelas VIII 120 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah soal tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika, lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang diajar dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Quantum Learning mengalami peningkatan; (2) kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang diajar dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching mengalami peningkatan; (3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Quantum Learning dengan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of facility and infrastructure management on the quality of graduates in public junior high schools. The main underlying problem is that researchers found low quality of graduates in several public junior high schools, which is suspected to be related to the suboptimal management of educational facilities and infrastructure. The research method used is quantitative with an ex post facto approach. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 80 respondents consisting of principals, teachers, and educational staff in public junior high schools. Data analysis was conducted using a simple linear regression technique to test the influence of facility and infrastructure management on graduate quality. The results showed that facility and infrastructure management had a positive and significant effect on graduate quality with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.625. This means that facility and infrastructure management contributed 62.5% to improving graduate quality, while the rest was influenced by other factors. This finding confirms that the availability, maintenance, and optimal utilization of facilities and infrastructure can improve the quality of educational output. Therefore, facility and infrastructure management needs to be a primary concern for schools in an effort to continuously improve graduate quality.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' abilities in solving HOTS (Higher-Order Thinking Skills) questions on the topic of fractions. The research method used is qualitative, with the research subjects being fifth-grade students (class Va) at MIN 2 Bima, Lambu District, Bima Regency. The instruments used include written tests and interviews. The study results indicate that the most common errors made by students are related to the sub-topic of fraction properties. Students were unable to explain the properties of fractions, and some were still unable to correctly solve HOTS questions. The main factor causing students' inability to describe and solve HOTS questions is a lack of understanding of the basic concepts of fractions [Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal HOST pada materi pecahan. Metode peneliti yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas V di MIN 2 Bima, Kecematan Lambu, Kabupaten Bima. Instrument yang digunakan adalah tes tertulis, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan adalah kesalahan siswa yang paling banyak yaitu pada sub materi dari sifat-sifat pecahan dan belum mampu menjabarkan sifat-sifat dari pecahan serta Sebagian siswa belum mampu menyelesaikan soal HOST dengan benar.
