Abstract

The role of technology is vital, especially for people in developing countries. The government and society pay maximum attention to technology development today because they realize the role and function of technology are very important for life. Education is the primary need of every human being that can improve human dignity. Moreover, in the 21st century, education faces severe challenges, namely the challenge of globalization, which requires every human being to master knowledge and technology, for those who do not have an education will automatically be excluded from global competition. One of the steps that can be taken to advance the education sector is by innovating in the delivery of learning materials. This study aims to conduct the Development of Economic Interactive Learning Media to Increase Learning Interest of Students of Sei Glugur People's High School. This research method uses a Research and development (R&D) design that adopts development. The subjects in this study were students of Sei Glugur People's High School. The data collection instrument used was the results questionnaire. The development of this learning media resulted in a learning media where the media made a difference in the learning process of Canva-based interactive media after several trials. Conclusion. The preparation of Canva-based interactive media development can increase student interest in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan teknologi informasi dalam meningkatkan efektivitas layanan fisioterapi di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Dr. Pirngadi. Masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penerapan sistem informasi manajemen rumah sakit (SIMRS) dan rekam medis elektronik (RME) dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan fisioterapi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif, melibatkan 50 pasien dan 10 fisioterapis sebagai sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif serta uji statistik untuk mengukur hubungan antara teknologi informasi dan efektivitas layanan fisioterapi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan SIMRS meningkatkan kepuasan pasien dan efisiensi waktu pelayanan fisioterapi, serta mempermudah tenaga medis dalam mengakses data pasien. Namun, masih terdapat tantangan terkait dengan literasi digital di kalangan tenaga medis dan keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disarankan untuk melakukan pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi tenaga medis serta peningkatan infrastruktur teknologi untuk mendukung implementasi sistem informasi yang lebih optimal.

Abstract

Decreased efficiency, quality of work, and decreased endurance in completing work. This is a sign of fatigue at work. This is caused by the workload being too high. Online lectures are a learning system through electronic media that is connected to the internet network. Online lectures are currently being implemented due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. The problem that occurs with online lectures is that several universities in Indonesia are not ready to do online learning. Likewise, the problem of students who are not accustomed to the demands of independent study due to limited time, facilities, materials and abilities, causes excessive anxiety and panic. This will cause a mental burden that it has an impact on student fatigue which causes a decrease in efficiency, resilience and work capacity. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the mental workload and fatigue of students during online lectures. Measurement of mental workload using the NASA-TLX method and fatigue measurement using SOFI. The results of this study indicate that the mental workload received by students is in the high category while fatigue is in the medium category. Significant differences in average mental load can be seen based on gender, scientific field, study program accreditation, education level, GPA during online lectures, involvement of student activities, online lecture aids, online lecture venues, how to connect to the network, online tuition fees, and the number of hours of online study. Abstract

Musculoskeletal disorders are among the major public health problems in Indonesia, with a high prevalence and significant impact on quality of life. This condition requires physiotherapists to possess comprehensive clinical communication skills to support professional practice. The rapid development of digital health services has encouraged the adoption of telehealth simulation as an innovative learning approach. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of telehealth simulation in improving the clinical communication skills of physiotherapy students. A quasi-experimental design with a pretest–posttest control group was employed, involving 60 final-year physiotherapy students who were divided into an intervention group (n=30) and a control group (n=30). The instrument used was the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) based on the Calgary-Cambridge Guide, which assessed four domains of communication: building rapport, gathering information, explaining and planning, and closing the session. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test to compare pretest and posttest scores within groups, and the Mann–Whitney U Test to compare between groups, with a significance level of p<0.05. The results indicated significant improvements in all communication domains in the intervention group (p<0.001), while the control group showed limited progress. The Mann–Whitney U Test confirmed significant posttest differences in all communication domains, favoring the intervention group (p<0.001). In conclusion, telehealth simulation is proven effective as an innovative learning strategy to enhance physiotherapy students’ clinical communication skills, and it is highly relevant for integration into physiotherapy curricula in the era of digital health transformation. Abstrak Gangguan muskuloskeletal merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan utama di Indonesia dengan prevalensi tinggi dan berdampak signifikan terhadap kualitas hidup. Kondisi ini menuntut fisioterapis memiliki keterampilan komunikasi klinis yang komprehensif dalam menunjang praktik profesional. Perkembangan teknologi kesehatan mendorong penggunaan simulasi berbasis telehealth sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran inovatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas simulasi telehealth dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi klinis mahasiswa fisioterapi. Penelitian menggunakan desain quasi experiment pretest–posttest control group dengan total 60 mahasiswa fisioterapi tingkat akhir yang dibagi ke dalam kelompok intervensi (n=30) dan kelompok kontrol (n=30). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) berbasis Calgary-Cambridge Guide yang menilai empat domain keterampilan komunikasi: building rapport, gathering information, explaining and planning, closing the session. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test untuk perbandingan pretest–posttest dalam kelompok dan Mann–Whitney U Test untuk perbandingan antar kelompok, dengan tingkat signifikansi p<0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kelompok intervensi di seluruh domain keterampilan komunikasi (p<0,001), sedangkan kelompok kontrol hanya mengalami peningkatan terbatas. Uji Mann–Whitney menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan pada seluruh domain komunikasi klinis saat posttest dengan skor lebih tinggi pada kelompok intervensi (p<0,001). Dengan demikian, simulasi telehealth terbukti efektif sebagai strategi pembelajaran inovatif yang mampu meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi klinis mahasiswa fisioterapi serta relevan untuk diintegrasikan dalam kurikulum pendidikan fisioterapi di era transformasi digital.
