Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the direct/indirect effects of Principal Managerial Activities, Organizational Culture, and Job Satisfaction on the Performance of Primary School Teachers in the Hampang Sub-district. This is a survey research with data quantitatively obtained from a sample of 92 people by using questionnaires that have met the validity and reliability test requirements. Furthermore, path analysis with multiple regression methods was used to test for hypotheses. The results showed that (1) Principal managerial activities, organizational culture, and teacher job satisfaction directly affected performance by 63.5%, 35.4%, and 75.5%, respectively. (2) Principal's managerial and organizational culture directly influenced job satisfaction by 63.1%, and 51.6%. (3) Principal's managerial activities and organizational culture indirectly affected teachers' performance through job satisfaction by 47.6%, and 38.9%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan langsung Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Governance, dan profitabiltas terhadap nilai perusahaan. Selain itu, penelitian juga untuk mengetahui hubungan tidak langsung melalui variable moderasi yakni corporate governance dan profitabilitas. Penarikan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling terhadap industry manufaktur terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia salama periode 2014-2016. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, CSR dan Profitabilitas berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan. Sementara, Corporate Governance berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan. Secara moderasi, Corporate Governance dan profitabilitas berhasil meningkatkan hubungan antara CSR dengan Nilai Perusahaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh lingkungan strategi, perencanaan strategi dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja pemerintah kota kupang serta menguji pengaruh interaksi antara lingkungan strategi dan perencanaan strategi terhadap kinerja pemerintah kota kupang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh dinas dan badan daerah di Kota Kupang yang berjumlah 27 OPD dengan perwakilan 5 orang tiap instansi, sehingga berjumlah 135 orang. Dari 135 kuesioner yang disebarkan, 113 kuesioner yang kembali dan dapat dijadikan data penelitian. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi berganda dan Moderate Regression Analyse (MRA) yang dibantu dengan program SmartPLS 3. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan strategi tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja pemerintah kupang sedangkan perencanaan strategi dan budaya organsasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pemerintah kota kupang. Hasil uji interaksi menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan strategi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja Pemerintah Kupang Sedangkan perencanaan strategi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengukuran kinerja PT Bank Muamalat CabangKupang dengan konsep Balanced Scorecard. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, maka penelitian inidilakukan dengan menggunakan beberapa metode analisis dari masing-masing perspektif, sertapengukuran kinerja dari masing-masing perspektif. Untuk mendukung penelitian ini, penelitimenyebarkan kuisioner kepada nasabah dan karyawan. Populasinya adalah nasabah dan karyawan PTBank Muamalat Cabang Kupang, sedangkan sampel yang diambil masing-masing adalah 98 respondenuntuk nasabah dan 11 responden untuk karyawan. Dari hasil pengukuran yang telah dilakukan diketahuibahwa kinerja Bank Muamalat Cabang Kupang secara keseluruhan sudah cukup baik, hal tersebutditunjukkan dengan nilai Scorecard yang dihasilkan dari masing-masing perspektif baik perspektifkeuangan. Perspektif Pelanggan, Perspektif Proses Internal Bisnis, perspektif pembelajaran danpertumbuhan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konflik peran, komitmen organisasi, pemahamangood governance dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja pemeriksa BPK Perwakilan Provinsi NTT.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan sampel yang digunakan adalah populasi/penelitiansensus sebanyak 73 pemeriksa pada Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan Perwakilan Provinsi NTT. Teknikanalisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi berganda. Variabel independen yangdigunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi konflik peran, komitmen organisasi, pemahaman goodgovernance dan budaya organisasi, serta variabel dependennya adalah kinerja pemeriksa. Hasil penelitianini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial konflik peran, komitmen organisasi, dan budaya organisasiberpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pemeriksa. Sedangkan untuk pemahaman good governancesecara parsial tidak terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pemeriksa. Pengujian secarasimultan menunjukkan konflik peran, komitmen organisasi, pemahaman good governance dan budayaorganisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pemeriksa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of emotional intelligence and interpersonal communication to teacher performance through teacher job satisfaction. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. A sample of 194 people from 377 teachers spread across 13 high schools in Banjarmasin. Data were extracted using a questionnaire that has been valid and reliable and analyzed using Path Analysis. The results showed that: (1) There was a direct contribution between emotional intelligence, interpersonal communication, job satisfaction, and teacher performance (2) There was an indirect contribution between emotional intelligence, interpersonal communication through job satisfaction as an intermediary variable on the performance of teachers at the SMAN Banjarmasin City. This study concludes that significant results are obtained for all variables studied.

Abstract

Parents always want the best for their children based on their abilities, including education. For this reason, the concept of assimilation in accordance with the wishes of parents is very useful for schools in mapping prospective applicants. The purpose of this study is to identify: a) what factors that considered by students? parents in choosing schools and b) which factors are the most dominant for making decisions in determining schools. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a multi-site design. Data in this study were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The collected data is then analyzed with an interactive data analysis model consisting of three stages, which are: data reduction, data display, and verification or drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that a) the mix factors that are considered by parents in choosing a school are: product, price, location, human resources, and process; and b) the dominant factor being considered by parents in choosing schools, which are products, processes, prices, human resources and location, as well as the foundation of the school's religious philosophy and long-standing positive image. This study recommends that schools that want to increase the number of students should make an increase in the dominant factors into consideration for parents in choosing schools for their children.

Abstract

This pre experimental study was carried out at the English Education Department of IKIP-PGRI Pontianak. The population was the third semester students and the sample consisted of one class. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling.. The technique of data collection in this research apply menstrument technique. The instruments used to collect the data was reading test. The tool of data collection apply in this research was pre-test and pos-test. The finding was the power of two strategy was effective to the student’s reading ability, it show that in the effec size the power of two strategy categorize strong effect to the student’s reading ability. Based on the result of the research, it is recommended that the teachers and the students should use the power of two strategy as one of alternative strategy in teaching reading

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the students’ ability in pronouncing long and short English vowels and to find out what is the factor causing the problems in pronouncing short and long English vowels. This research was done through descriptive research, the sample was chosen by purposive sampling. There were 6 classes as population and chosen 5 students in each class as a sample to represent all students in every class.The tool of data collecting of this research was minimal pair test as a measurement test and interview. Based on the research finding, it was found that only 2 students that got score with the category “good” (60) and “excellent” (80) from the total of 30 students with the mean score 40,89 that categorized into "fair". Mispronounced in short vowels were 247 and mispronounced in long vowels were 283. From the result of Interview, it was found that the student had problems in pronouncing the vowel in English that were caused by several factors, including learning and social aspect. Based on the result, it can be concluded that students had the pronunciation ability categorized into "fair"and also some problems in terms of the pronunciation of long and short vowels influenced by problems during the learning process and social aspects.

Abstract

This study involved an English teacher from one of special schools in Pontianak. It is investigated the materials are the source for teachers to teach and for students to learn. Two areas of investigation were set up in this study and were aimed to explore: 1) Describing the English teaching learning process for autistic learners at CAHAYA BANGSA Pontianak; 2) Developing the materials for encouraging the students to be more involved and concentrated. This final project used the research and development (R&D) to develop the materials. The materials were validated by two experts to come to the final product. This research conducted at CAHAYA BANGSA PONTIANAK involving the students of seventh grade with special needs (in this case is autism). The data were collected from classroom and checklist observations, questionnaire and interview with teacher. Those data collection resulted that teacher and students actually confronted the same problem which was the absence of a set of suitable materials for English lesson. The integration of the materials then led to materials development for encouraging the students’ involvement and concentration. The researchers assumed there were some considerations the teacher should pay attention in using the materials, those are: 1) the teachers should give the instruction clearly to the students; 2) the teachers should be more creative in developing materials for the students; 3) the teacher should enhance her knowledge of materials development for students with special needs; 4) Every student has different characteristics, therefore the materials should be applied in the basis of students’ capacity and ability
