Abstract

This study aims to design and develop an Android-based cultural heritage application to introduce and preserve cultural sites in Fakfak Regency, West Papua. The application provides information on cultural heritage sites, map locations, and navigation routes to these sites. The development process followed the Waterfall model, encompassing requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance stages. Application testing was conducted using the Black Box method to evaluate system functionality and usability testing with a Likert scale to measure user satisfaction. The test results indicate that the application is easily accessible, provides accurate information, and features a user-friendly interface, achieving an average user satisfaction rate of 90%. This application is expected to serve as an effective tool for preserving and promoting cultural heritage in Fakfak Regency.

Abstract

The role and position of data in today's digital era are very important, data can be likened to a resource that can be explored further to produce new information or knowledge. Seeing the importance of data position, several solutions can be offered in getting more value from data, one of which is the use of Data Mining techniques with association techniques, several types of association techniques are a priori algorithms and FP-Growth algorithms. Based on the research results, the a priori algorithm produces a combination of goods with a confidence value of 98.4 and a support value of 98.4, and the algorithm produces a combination of goods with a support value of 95.2 and a confidence value of 95.2. The comparison of these two algorithms in making associations results in a faster execution time of the FP-Growth algorithm than Apriori, and the Apriori algorithm produces more varied itemset combinations.

Abstract

Violence against children and women remains a significant societal issue in Indonesia, impacting victims physically, mentally, and economically. Challenges in addressing this include low legal awareness, limited access to reporting mechanisms, and insufficient information about victims' rights. This research aimed to develop an information system to mitigate these challenges by providing a platform for easy complaint filing and accessible legal education. The system, developed using the Waterfall Method and tested with Blackbox testing, incorporates key features such as login, account registration, a homepage, legal education modules, complaint filing, complaint status tracking, and user account management. The successful testing of these features demonstrates the system's potential to improve access to justice, enhance public understanding of legal rights, and ultimately contribute to more effective handling of violence against children and women in Fakfak.

Abstract

Abstract

The Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) of Fakfak plays a vital role in delivering clean water to the community. However, the current manual approach to monitoring water availability and quality in reservoirs can lead to delays in decision-making related to water distribution. This research aims to design and develop a mobile application integrated with a real-time reservoir mapping and monitoring system, utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The system employs ultrasonic sensors to measure water levels, pH sensors to assess water quality, and a microcontroller with a communication module to transmit data to a server. This data is then visualized on an Android-based application supported by integrated mapping features. The study follows a Research and Development (R&D) methodology using a prototyping model. The resulting prototype demonstrates the system’s ability to provide accurate and real-time insights on water reservoir conditions, thereby enhancing PDAM's capacity for efficient and responsive water distribution planning.

Abstract

The need for fast and accurate information is really needed by universities, because fast information will influence policies or steps taken. This requires universities to take concrete steps in providing information. Fakfak State Polytechnic, especially the Informatics Management Department, in the process of collecting, managing and providing information on the requirements for receiving or taking a diploma is still manual. Using technology is one of the right solutions for the rapid dissemination of information. Design of a web-based development diploma recipient information system at the Department of Information Management, Fakfak State Polytechnic. This system emerged as a solution aimed at assisting informatics management students in obtaining their diplomas. The method used by the author in creating this system is the waterfall method starting from the process of planning, analysis, design, writing program code, program testing and program design and system maintenance. The results of this research produced a website that is used to provide information and accommodate files which are a prerequisite for obtaining a diploma.
