Abstract

This paper aims to evaluate English learning on the components of the context, input, process, and product. This research is an evaluation research. Data were collected by observation, interview, and documentation then analyzed descriptively. The conclusions in this paper: 1) the value of the context of the initial condition of the institution is sufficient, the value of the input of the sub-components of facilities and infrastructure, sufficient teaching staff and curriculum, the value of the process of the planning and implementation of English learning is lacking, and the value of the product component on student learning outcomes; and 2) the recommendation of this paper, the head of the institution needs to review or change the implementation of the institution's curriculum for reform for a better direction, provided there are many English textbooks, teachers must make lesson plans based on the syllabus of competency units.Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pembelajaran bahasa Inggris pada komponen context, input, process, dan product. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Kesimpulan dalam artikel ini: 1) nilai context untuk kondisi lembaga sudah cukup, nilai input untuk sarana dan prasarana, tenaga pengajar dan kurikulum memadai, nilai process untuk pembelajaran perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris kurang, dan nilai komponen product terhadap hasil belajar siswa sudah cukup, dan 2) atas rekomendasi artikel ini, pimpinan lembaga perlu mengkaji ulang atau merubah implementasi kurikulum lembaga untuk reformasi ke arah yang lebih baik, dengan syarat buku teks bahasa Inggris yang banyak, guru harus membuat RPP berdasarkan unit kompetensi silabus.

Abstract

This research addresses prevalent issues in Indonesia's education system, particularly the decline in moral character among the younger generation. The study aims to determine whether Ki Hajar Dewantara's educational framework lacks religious principles, contributing to these challenges, or if the problem lies in the disparity between his concept and the Islamic education model that emphasizes moral development. The research employs a library research method, reviewing various sources such as journals, books, and other references to gather information. The findings reveal that Ki Hajar Dewantara's educational framework does include Islamic educational values. The study concludes that the moral crisis in Indonesian education is not due to a lack of religious values in the educational concept but rather due to educators' failure to effectively implement Ki Hajar Dewantara's educational principles while understanding true Islamic education. This suggests the need for improved application of his concepts in educational practices, theories, and future development.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan mengungkap fakta kedangkalan etika umat di media sosial. Lalu pertanyaannya ini menjadi tanggung jawab siapa? Studi ini perlu dilakukan mengingat bahwa kondisi dewasa media ini telah berhasil mengelabui manusia secara universal, mulai dari cara berpikir, berperilaku, berbuat dan mengambil keputusan. Tanpa disadari telah melenyapkan rasa malu sehingga tidak ada batas lagi untuk melakukan apapun di media sosial. Studi ini menggunakan metode penelitian perpustakaan dengan Merujuk pada fenomena-fenomena yang marak terjadi baik di tengah kehidupan masyarakat maupun di kehidupan bermedia sosial. Maka lazimnya studi ini menawarkan kepada pihak manapun untuk memperkuat fondasi akidah sebagai temeng untuk meminimalkan terjadinya pendangkalan etika umat di media sosial. Kajian ini menemukan tiga pokok pembahasan penting sebab akibat terjadinya kedangkalan etika umat yakni melupakan sikap tabayyun, tebar pesona demi popularitas dan trending tiktok yang melenyapkan rasa malu umat
