Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengelolaan dan hasil belajar pendidikan kesetaraan Paket C studi di pusat kegiatan belajar mengajar (PKBM) se Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. Penelitian ini tergolong ke penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Adapun yang menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 90 peserta didik yang diambil secara proportionate stratified random sampling dari 15 kecamatan yang ada di Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner, sedangkan teknik analisis yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah analisis regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis, diperoleh variabel pengelolaan (X) memiliki nilai t hitung sebesar 4,344 sedangkan signifikan 0,000. Nilai t tabel diperoleh dari (n-k-1) pada tabel distribusi t yaitu 1,98729. Maka sesuai dengan pengambilan keputusan pada uji t yaitu t hitung>t tabel atau signifikan <0,05 dengan nilai 4,344>1,98729 atau nilai signifikan 0,000<0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel pengelolaan (X) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial terhadap Hasil Belajar (Y) di Program kesetaraan Paket C studi di Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) se Musi Banyuasin. Maka, Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar. Dengan demikian semakin tinggi tingkat atau nilai Pengelolaan maka hasil belajar juga akan semakin tinggi atau meningkat.

Abstract

Abstract Every human resource development (HR) has several factors, one of which is education. Non-formal education is an educational path outside of formal education which is carried out in stages and in a structured manner. PKBM is a vehicle to increase the knowledge and economy of learning citizens. The glass awi training is one of the trainings contained in the Mekar Buana PKBM. This study aims to describe the process and results of the glass awi training in improving the life skills of learning residents at PKBM Buana Mekar. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. This research was conducted at PKBM Buana Mekar. The subjects in the study consisted of PKBM managers and one tutor, two learning residents. The research data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that seeing a lot of potential for learning citizens in entrepreneurship and to improve the life skills of learning citizens. The learning process is carried out in one day and the activities are going well using participatory learning strategies, the suggestions and infrastructure are quite adequate. Learning residents are able to distinguish between types of awi, changes in the attitudes of learning residents regarding socialization and empathy. Training activities are able to improve the life skills of learning residents at PKBM Abstrak Setiap pembangunan sumber daya manusia (SDM) ada bebarapa faktor salah satunya pendidikan. Pendidikan non formal adalah sebuah jalur pendidikan di luar dari pendidikan formal yang dilaksanakan secara berjenjang da terstruktur. PKBM adalah wahana untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ekonomi warga belajar. Pelatihan gelas awi merupakan salah satu pelatihan yang terdapat dalam PKBM Mekar Buana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mendeskripsikan proses dan hasil pelatihan gelas awi dalam meningkatkan life skill warga belajar di PKBM Buana Mekar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PKBM Buana Mekar. Subjek dalam penelitian terdiri dari pengelola PKBM dan satu tutor,dua warga belajar. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa melihat banyak potensi warga belajar dalam berwirausaha dan untuk meningkatkan life skill para warga belajar. Proses pembelajar dilakuka satu hari dan kegiatan berjalan dengan baik dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran partisipatif, saran dan prasarana cukup memadai. Warga belajar mampu membedakan jenis awi, perubahan sikap warga belajar terkait sosialisasi dan sikap empati. Kegiatan pelatihan mampu meningkatkan life skill warga belajar di PKBM Mekar Buana

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan Pengelolaan Pelatihan Garmen Apparel pada UPTD Balai Latihan Kerja Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Kabupaten Karawang. Menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi lapangan (field research). Subjek penelitian terdiri atas satu orang pengelola, satu orang instruktur dan dua orang peserta pelatihan. Teknik pengumpulan data melaui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Tahapan penelitian melalui tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap pelaporan. Hasil penelitian pengelolaan ini adalah adanya fungsi: (1) Perencanaan Pelatihan Garmen Apparel UPTD Balai Latihan Kerja Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Kabupaten Karawang; (2) Pengorganisasian Pelatihan Garmen Apparel UPTD Balai Latihan Kerja Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Kabupaten Karawang; (3) Pelaksanaan Pelatihan Garmen Apparel UPTD Balai Latihan Kerja Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Kabupaten Karawang; (4) Pengawasan Pelatihan Garmen Apparel UPTD Balai Latihan Kerja Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Kabupaten Karawang. Kesimpulan pengelolaan pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan cukup baik sehingga peserta pelatihan dapat memiliki pengembangan dan peningkatan pada keterampilan menjahitnya.   Kata Kunci: Pengelolaan, Pelatihan, Balai Latihan Kerja

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic cannot be avoided at this time. Various policy changes began to be implemented, one of which was the online learning policy in all educational institutions, and one of them was the Vocational High School (SMK). During online learning, various kinds of obstacles arise, and of course, it is felt by vocational students. These obstacles give rise to various views of vocational students. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the perceptions of vocational students during online EFL classes. This study focused on six students of class XII Office Administration who participated in the study. This study uses a narrative inquiry research design. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Observations were made during four meetings in learning through Google Meet calls. Interviews were conducted via Google Meet calls. And documentation in the form of photos of students in online learning activities. This research uses thematic analysis by Braun and Clark (2006), which includes six steps to analyze the data. The results of the study found that learning English online for vocational students had many obstacles. These obstacles include the lack of teachers using different media when doing online learning, being too fast and lacking in detail in delivering knowledge, students being lazy to learn because they are too dependent on translator applications, and problems with the students' or teachers' internet connections. However, there are advantages to online learning. The advantage is that they feel more courageous in expressing their opinions in the ongoing learning activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to discover how Kahoot emotionally engages students’ feelings in the EFL classroom. The research was conducted to one of senior high in Pebayuran which included five students from MIPA’s tenth grade. This research uses descriptive case study as research design. The data is gathered through semi-structured interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The interview has been done via WhatsApp call. The questionnaire was distributed via a WhatsApp group and using a 5-point Likert scale. The documentation is a photograph of students in learning activities. This study employed thematic analysis which included six steps to analyze the data. Those six steps are familiarizing the data, generating initial codes, searching for themes, reviewing themes, defining and naming data, and producing the report. As a result, it was found that Kahoot positively engages students' emotionally. It presented that Kahoot makes the learning joyful, students felt enjoy, interested, happy, motivate, and enthusiastic. However, there are challenges in using Kahoot. It found that students’ anxiety of limited times and technical problems of internet connection.

Abstract

This  research are aiming to describe how the role of parents in fostering children’s reading interest in Anggrek Early Childhood Education Adiarsa Timur and children’s reading interest in Anggrek Early Childhood Education Adiarsa Timur. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. This research was conducted in Anggrek Early Childhood Education  Adiarsa Timur. The subject of the research is the source od information consisting of three parents of student, and the source of infomant consisting of one principal and one educator. Determination of research subjects using porposive sampling techniques. Research data obtained through observation, interviews, documentation studies, and triangulation. The research stages consist of orientation phase, exploration stage, and member check stage. Data analysis consists of data collection, data reduction, data display, and final conclusions. The result of research showed that parents have an important role as the first and foremost educator in fostering children’s interest in reading early on. The thing that parents can do at home is to give an example to children that reading is important, give special time to read together, and buy books that children love with reading materials that are appropriate to the age of the child. And the children’s interest in reading in Pre-school Anggrek Adiarsa Timur is very high, students in Anggrek Early Childhood Education Adiarsa Timur have a high sense of curiosity which makes them eager to learn to read. High interest needs support from several aspects such as learning resources, learning environment, dan learning facilities. Developed intererst will greatly influence behavior not only during the childhood period, but also afterwards, because it is very important for parents to foster children’s interest in reading early on.Keywords: The role of parents, Interest in reading, Early Childhood Education

Abstract

Program management is now a widely used approach to bring about the planned change and is used to implement a strategy. This study aims to observe the condition of the management of the training program at the Vocational Training Center in Subang Regency. This research approach uses a descriptive qualitative approach. There were 4 subjects in the study, consisting of 1 principal and 3 instructors. Data collection through documentation analysis techniques, interviews, and observation. Data analysis through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. Based on the results of the research, it was concluded that planning is related to the identification of industrial needs for human resources with certain competency abilities and the determination of program objectives and learning objectives or the curriculum of each training program. Organizing training programs involves all parties to prepare training programs according to their respective duties. Organization of facilities and infrastructure is carried out to identify availability and readiness for use. The mobilization stage is in the form of preparation from the initial recruitment of training participants by predetermined conditions to the implementation of the learning process. Coaching functions to supervise and control the course of the learning process so that it continues to run according to the goals that have been set. The development of training programs is carried out to improve and perfect the previous training programs. Thus, it can improve the implementation of further training programs
