Abstract

This research was conducted because it the finding that students had a low ability to understand mathematical concepts.This certainly causes learning obstacles for students. The aim of this bibliometric analysis research is to examine publications related to the field of study with the aim of identifying research trends, important concepts and keywords. This research uses a bibliometric method to collect data with the keywords Mathematical concept comprehension of students in Indefinite Integral material. In light of the results, outcome and conversation, It was discovered that, from 2019 and 2024, 2021 had the most amount of scientific papers on the Google Scholar website.The data collection technique used the Harzing's Publish or Perish program which is available for free and can be accessed. The publications used were released between 2019 and 2024 using VOSviewer which contains 3 views, namely network visualization, overlay visualization, and density visualization. The analysis indicates that this study's results fluctuate annually..Bibliometric results based on terms, the theme regarding Mathematical Concepts Comprehension has a dim color so that there is still little research that examines Indefinite Integral material in particular. Therefore, this can be a reference for further research updates.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Sumber dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi siswa kelas XII dalam melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kesenjangan informasi dan motivasi di kalangan siswa SMA mengenai pentingnya pendidikan tinggi, pilihan studi, persyaratan masuk, biaya pendidikan, dan potensi karir. Metode yang digunakan adalah seminar yang mencakup materi tentang pentingnya studi lanjut, jenis pendidikan pasca SMA, jalur masuk perguruan tinggi, informasi universitas, sekolah ikatan dinas, beasiswa, dan program studi yang dibutuhkan. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 36 siswa kelas XII IPS 2. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi siswa untuk melanjutkan pendidikan, dimana persentase siswa yang memilih untuk studi lanjut meningkat dari 52% menjadi 72% setelah kegiatan pengabdian. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian ini efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi siswa kelas XII untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi.

Abstract

Keefektifan penerapan model PBL dipadukan dengan media interaktif canva berbasis web dengan fokus pada meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa tingkat menengah pertama. Quasi experiment menjadi metode penelitian. Desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah Kelas VIII siswa SMP Negeri 2 Sumber pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025 adalah populasi penelitian, sedangkan sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas kontrol VIII D (33 siswa) dan kelas eksperimen VIII G (34 siswa). Tes uraian menjadi instrument tes yang dirancang untuk mengukur ketetampilan berpikir kreatif matematis mencakup orisinalitas, kelancaran, elaborasi dan keluwesan. Sebagai dasar pengujian dilakukan uji normalitas dan homogenitas dalam menganalisis data dan uji t independent dapat dilakukan. Hasil penelitian adalah kedua kelompok penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis meningkat, yaitu rata-rata N-gain lebih besar untuk kelas eksperimen. Di simpulkan bahwa menerapkan Model PBL dipadukan dengan canva berbasis website secara efektif untuk peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif, siswa terlibat di pembelajaran matematika, dan minat siswa.

Abstract

Nowadays, in the era of the Merdeka curriculum, there is a strong demand to foster high-order thinking skills (HOTS). However, many teachers struggle to create mathematics questions based on Higher-Order Thinking Skills, especially in mathematics study. When teachers are accustomed to creating contextual mathematical problems and high-level thinking, this can also influence the development of students’ abilities in high-level mathematical thinking, especially in improving critical thinking skills. he PPG (Professional Teacher Education) Certain Teacher program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon (UMC) is one of the government programs designed to improve the quality of teachers who will receive educator certification. Certain teachers is a term for teachers who teach and are registered in Dapodik, qualifying them to obtain an educator certification. This research aims to investigate the ability of certain elementary school teachers in the PPG Certain Teacher Program to create HOTS-based mathematics questions and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in creating the questions. This research uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach, using observations, and interviews. Meanwhile, the research procedures include preparation, interviews, observations, documentaions and data processing. The subjects of the research are three teachers in the PPG certain teacher UMC. The result of this research can be summarized in four sections as follows:  teachers’ ability to design questions based on the cognitive domain of bloom’s taxonomy, teachers’ ability to create questions that promote critical thinking skills, teachers’ ability to find information sources in creating non-routine questions, and the challenges they face in creating HOTS-based mathematics questions.
