Abstract

The research aims to find out the role of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) teachers in increasing student awareness of the impact of bullying behavior at SMA Negeri 1 Pebayuran, Bekasi Regency, West Java. The research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through observation and in-depth interviews. The informants in this study consisted of six people, namely the deputy principal for curriculum, two PPKn teachers, and three students (one male and two female). The interviews were conducted directly to obtain in-depth information about the role of PPKn teachers in educating and forming students' awareness of the negative impact of bullying. The results of the study show that PPKn teachers have an important role in improving students' understanding of human values, tolerance, and justice. These values are the basis for responding to and preventing bullying behavior in the school environment. PPKn teachers not only convey material theoretically but also instill moral values in students' daily lives.

Abstract

This study was conducted to investigate the extent to which slang language on social media and the intensity of social media usage influence Indonesian language proficiency among senior high school students. Social media serves as the primary communication medium for teenagers in the digital era, where slang and the intensity of using cyber language can affect their linguistic competence. The research employed a qualitative method using a case study approach, with data collected from students in several high schools in Indonesia. Data collection methods included in-depth interviews, participant observation, and analysis of students’ social media content. The findings reveal that the use of harsh slang and excessive social media usage can disrupt students’ use of formal Indonesian language in speaking and writing. The study also found that students who frequently use slang and heavily engage with social media face challenges in understanding and expressing complex concepts in Indonesian. However, the study also indicates that appropriate use of slang can enrich students’ vocabulary and creativity in language use. This research highlights the importance of proper use of both slang and standard Indonesian, as well as proportional time management in social media use. The findings are discussed in relation to the responsibilities of teachers and parents in guiding students toward appropriate and wise language use on social media, as well as the role of educational policies in developing students’ comprehensive linguistic competence. This study provides insights into the dynamics of youth language use and outlines areas for further research on this topic.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT Tirtakencana Tatawarna in Karawang. The study employed a qualitative approach with descriptive methods to gain an in-depth understanding of employee perceptions and experiences regarding their working conditions. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, with the criteria being employees who had worked for at least one year and were directly involved in the company's operational activities. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews supported by documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, with data validity tested using source triangulation. The results indicate that a conducive work environment, both physical and non-physical, and a good level of job satisfaction have a positive effect on employee performance. A comfortable work environment and harmonious working relationships can increase employee motivation and effectiveness, while job satisfaction fosters a positive attitude and responsibility in completing tasks. Thus, the work environment and job satisfaction play a significant role in improving employee performance at PT Tirtakencana Tatawarna in Karawang.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mendorong penggunaan media sosial menjadi bagian dari kehidupan sehari-hari mahasiswa. Intensitas penggunaan media sosial yang tinggi sering dikaitkan dengan berbagai konsekuensi psikologis, khususnya kecemasan dan depresi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh intensitas penggunaan media sosial terhadap tingkat kecemasan dan depresi pada mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari mahasiswa aktif Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Buana Perjuangan yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian meliputi skala intensitas penggunaan media sosial, skala kecemasan, dan skala depresi yang telah diuji validitas serta reliabilitasnya. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intensitas penggunaan media sosial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat kecemasan dan depresi mahasiswa. Semakin tinggi intensitas penggunaan media sosial, semakin tinggi pula kecenderungan mahasiswa mengalami kecemasan dan depresi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial yang tidak terkontrol dapat berdampak negatif terhadap kesehatan mental mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya peningkatan literasi digital dan pengelolaan waktu penggunaan media sosial agar kesejahteraan psikologis mahasiswa tetap terjaga.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan bagaimana pendidikan Pancasila siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Karawang ditingkatkan melalui penggunaan platform pembelajaran Quizizz. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik penelitian deskriptif dan mengambil pendekatan kualitatif. Siswa dan instruktur dari program pendidikan Pancasila SMK Negeri 2 Karawang berperan sebagai partisipan dalam penelitian ini. Observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini. Mengumpulkan data, memilih data, menyajikannya, dan menarik kesimpulan adalah langkah-langkah dalam proses analisis data. Temuan penelitian ini menggambarkan bagaimana mata kuliah Pendidikan Pancasila memanfaatkan media pembelajaran Quizizz, yang sebelumnya kurang dimanfaatkan, berkat perencanaan yang matang dan umpan balik positif dari siswa. Ketidakmampuan siswa untuk memahami media Quizizz, koneksi internet yang tidak lancar, dan gadget yang tidak mampu menghambat peluncurannya. Kemampuan siswa untuk berpikir kritis ditingkatkan melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran Quizizz, yang pada gilirannya mengarah pada hasil belajar yang lebih baik. Hal ini khususnya berlaku dalam mata kuliah Pendidikan Pancasila.
