Abstract

Latar Belakang: Permasalahan kesehatan terkait obat di masyarakat Indonesia sepanjang waktu terus bertambah. Permasalahan tersebut mayoritas timbul karena cara pandang masyarakat yang belum memahami penggunaan dan penanganan obat yang baik dan benar. Program DAGUSIBU obat merupakan salah satu solusi yang tepat untuk menanggulangi masalah tersebut. Berdasarkan informasi yang diperoleh, RT03/RW03 Desa Kedanyang Gresik belum pernah mendapatkan sosialisasi tentang DAGUSIBU obat. Tujuan: tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan penegetahuan masyarakat mengenaia cara mendapatkan, menggunakan dan membuang obat dengan baik. Metode: Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode penyuluhan mulai dari cara penggunaan sampai pembuangan obat yang benar, kemudian diskusi interaktif, peragaan serta evaluasi dan monitoring melalui post test maupun pre test. Hasil: Kegiatan sosialisasi berjalan dengan lancar dengan peserta yang kooperatif dan antusias dalam mengikuti program tersebut. Hal ini dapat mendukung terwujudnya program pemerintah dalam meningkatkan kesehatan masyarakat yaitu GKSO (gerakan keluarga sadar obat). Di sisi lain, berdasarkan hasil post-test menunjukkan bahwa peserta lebih memahami konsep DAGUSIBU obat dengan benar, sehingga dapat meminimalisir kesalahan dalam penggunaan obat. Kesimpulan: Dengan adanya sosialisasi ini, masyarakat dapat menerapkan pengetahuan yang telah didapatkan kepada lingkungan maupun keluarga.

Abstract

The addition of BKO (Chemical Drug Ingredients) to traditional medicines is no longer commonplace. This condition is raises serious health concerns if it is allowed to continue because it can cause damage to body organs, especially liver damage. The purpose of this study was to test whether traditional medicines (“jamu pegal linu”) sold at Pasar Tingkat Lamongan contain paracetamol or not. This is because this type of traditional medicine is widely sold in this market and has never been tested for the presence of BKO. The traditional medicine samples studied have criteria that are not listed the composition of the ingredients. The test for the presence of BKO (paracetamol) uses two methods, namely the color test by reacting with iron (III) chloride reagent and the TLC test. The results of the study showed that 1 out of 4 samples studied contained paracetamol. For further research related to the TLC test for the presence of paracetamol in traditional medicines, it is better not to use only one type of eluent comparison

Abstract

Pelayanan farmasi klinik adalah salah satu pelayanan kefarmasian yang ada di suatu apotek, dimana dalam pelayanan ini terjadi interaksi langsung antara apoteker/tenaga teknis kefarmasian dengan pasien. Pelayanan kefarmasian dikatakan berkualitas, apabila pengguna pelayanan jasa merasakan puas atas pelayanan kefarmasian yang diterima dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan. Sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kefarmasian di Apotek Zaff Farma selama pandemi COVID-19, maka perlu dilakukan evaluasi dengan melihat kepuasan konsumen terhadap pelayanan kefarmasian selama pandemi COVID-19. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil kepuasan konsumen terhadap pelayanan kefarmasian selama pandemi COVID-19 di Apotek Zaff Farma Gresik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian non eksperimental. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dan analisis data bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini dihitung berdasarkan rumus slovin dan diperoleh 93 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profil kepuasan konsumen terhadap pelayanan kefarmasian di Apotek Zaff Farma Gresik selama pandemi COVID-19 dapat diklasifikasikan sangat puas berdasarkan lima dimensi kepuasan pasien (bukti fisik, daya tanggap, empati, jaminan, dan kehandalan) .Kata kunci: Bukti Fisik, Daya Tanggap, Empati, Jaminan, Kehandalan.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Salah satu kewajiban mahasiswa tingkat atas adalah melakukan kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN). KKN merupakan suatu bentuk kontribusi mahasiswa terhadap masyarakat, terutama dalam menjawab permasalahan yang ada di lingkungan desa. Mahasiswa dari Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik ditugaskan untuk melakukan KKN di Desa Kedungpring, Kecamatan Balongpanggang, Kabupaten Gresik. Di Desa ini banyak masyarakatnya memiliki Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM), baik di bidang pangan maupun non pangan. Menurut survei yang telah dilakukan, UMKM di desa ini belum melakukan pencatatan keuangan yang baik. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah berusaha meningkatkan pengetahuan pelaku UMKM di Desa Kedungpring melalui kegiatan penyuluhan terkait pencatatan keuangan sederhana dan aplikasi Kledo. Tahapan kegiatan yang dilakukan dari kegiatan ini antara lain 1) melakukan koordinasi dengan perangkat desa terkait pelaku UMKM yang ada di Desa Kedungpring; 2) Melakukan survei ke pelaku UMKM; 3) Melakukan penyuluhan terkait pencatatan keuangan sederhana (termasuk aplikasi Kledo); dan 4) Melakukan evaluasi terkait respon pelaku UMKM dalam melakukan pencatatan keuangan sederhana. Pelaku UMKM yang dijadikan sasaran kegiatan penyuluhan adalah dua jenis usaha, yaitu UMKM tas dan UMKM jamu. Pemilihan dua UMKM ini adalah didasarkan pada masukan dari perangkat desa dan sesuai kriteria dari kegiatan, yaitu UMKM yang belum memiliki pencatatan keuangan. Hasil kegiatan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaku UMKM baru menyadari pentingnya pencatatan dalam usaha untuk mengetahui posisi keuangan dari usahanya dan tertarik dalam menggunakan aplikasi Kledo dalam membuat laporan keuangan dari usahanya. Kegiatan ini diharapkan bisa menjadi langkah awal untuk mendorong UMKM lebih tertib secara administrasi dan mampu mengelola usahanya dengan lebih baik ke depan. KKN is a form of student contribution to the community, especially in addressing problems that exist in the village environment. Students from the Muhammadiyah University of Gresik were assigned to carry out KKN in Kedungpring Village, Balongpanggang District, Gresik Regency. In this village, many people have Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), both in the food and non-food sectors. According to a survey that has been conducted, MSMEs in this village have not kept good financial records. The purpose of this activity is to provide counseling on simple financial recording for MSMEs in Kedungpring Village. The stages of activities carried out from this activity include 1) coordinating with village officials related to MSME actors in Kedungpring Village; 2) Conducting surveys to MSME actors; 3) Conducting counseling related to simple financial recording (including the Kledo application); 3) Conducting evaluations regarding the response of MSME actors in carrying out simple financial recording. The MSME actors targeted by the counseling activities are two types of businesses, namely bag MSMEs and herbal medicine MSMEs. The selection of these two MSMEs was based on input from village officials and the activity's criteria, namely MSMEs that do not yet have financial records. The results of the activity indicate that MSMEs are only just realizing the importance of record-keeping in business, helping them understand their financial position, and are interested in using the Kledo application to generate financial reports. This activity is expected to be the first step in encouraging MSMEs to be more administratively disciplined and better manage their businesses in the future. Abstract

Borax is a chemical that is hazardous to health and is often misused as a food additive. The addition of this chemical is to make food chewier and more durable. It is important to test the presence of borax in snacks around us. The purpose of this study was to test the presence of borax in meatballs sold in the town square in one of the cities in East Java. The test method was carried out qualitatively, namely organoleptic test, AgNO3 test, turmeric extract test, and borax test kit. The results showed that all meatball samples tested positive for borax. Organoleptically, meatballs containing preservatives do not easily become soft (remain chewy), do not give off a bad smell for longer, and do not grow mold easily. This kind of research is important to anticipate the emergence of diseases due to borax abuse.

Abstract

Basil leaves have long been used as fresh vegetables. Basil leaves are used to eliminate odors and can also be used as antiseptics. Each plant can produce primary and secondary metabolites. The production of these metabolites is influenced by environmental conditions. Kandangan Village is one of the villages in Gresik Regency which has a relatively hot temperature and many industries are located around it. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of phytochemical screening tests for the presence of alkaloid and flavonoid compounds in basil leaves growing in Kandangan Village. This type of research is experimental research. Basil leaf samples were obtained from Kandangan Village. The extraction method used was maceration using 96% ethanol solvent. The test for the presence of alkaloids used the Dragendroff test method and the Mayer test. The test for the presence of flavonoids used the Wilstater test method and the Bate Smite-Metcalfe test. The results of this study indicate that basil leaves growing in Kandangan Village are positive for the presence of flavonoids with a color change to yellow for the Wilstater test and a color change to red in the Bate Smite-Metcalfe test. However, the test for the presence of alkaloids showed negative results because there was no formation of orange to red deposits for the Dragendroff test and yellowish white deposits for the Mayer test.

Abstract

Jahe merah (Zingiber officinale Var Rubrum) dan jahe emprit (Zingiber Officinale Var Amarum) merupakan salah satu tanaman yang memiliki khasiat sebagai obat tradisional di Indonesia. Jahe terlaporkan memiliki kandungan senyawa aktif yang berpotensi sebagai antioksidan. Senyawa aktif yang biasa berperan sebagai antioksidan adalah senyawa fenolik (flavonoid), turunan asam sinamat, kumarin, tokofenol serta senyawa asam – asam organik. Jenis jahe dibedakan menjadi 3 macam, yaitu jahe merah, jahe emprit, dan jahe gajah. Akan tetapi, di daerah Bojonegoro lebih banyak tumbuh tanaman jahe merah dan jahe emprit dibandingkan jahe gajah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan metabolit sekunder flavonoid dan alkaloid pada jahe merah dan jahe emprit. Kedua metabolit tersebut biasanya berfungsi sebagai antioksidan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah ekperimental. Sampel jahe merah dan jahe emprit di ekstraksi dengan menggunakan metode maserasi dengan menggunakan pelarut etanol 80%. Berdasarkan penelitian menunjukkan di dalam jahe merah dan jahe emprit positif senyawa flavonoid dan alkaloid. Golongan flavonoid yang terdeteksi pada jahe merah dan jahe emprit kemungkinan flavanon karena terjadi perubahan warna menjadi merah tua dan antasianidin karena terjadi perubahan warna menjadi merah
