This study uses probability sampling techniques and is tested by the Sample t-Test (Independent sample t-Test). Results: The Wilcoxon test obtained p value 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a difference in the effectiveness of autogenic and supportive therapy against Post Traumatic Stress Disorder in the Elderly Post Flood (in Rengel Village, Rengel District, Tuban Regency). Abstract

Background: Snake bites are an emergency issue frequently occurring in rural areas, particularly in forested environments, and can lead to serious injuries, disabilities, and even death. High mortality rates from snake bites are often due to a lack of knowledge and skills in handling these incidents. Method: A Snake Bite Rescue training was conducted over 7 days in Desa Menyunyur, Kecamatan Grabagan, Kabupaten Tuban. This training involved 10 local farmers and consisted of three main phases: initial data assessment, intensive training, and final evaluation. The training methods included lectures, demonstrations, and simulations of snake bite management. Result: The training results showed a significant improvement in participants' knowledge and skills in managing snake bites, as well as an increased awareness of preventive measures. Conclusion: This training is expected to contribute to a reduction in serious injuries and deaths from snake bites and to enhance the safety of farmers in the area.

Abstract

Background: Based on data compiled by the Health Research and Development Agency of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia regarding pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) cases in Indonesia, a total of 1,017,290 cases were reported in 2018 (Riskesdas, 2018). The increase in tuberculosis cases is attributed to the low adherence to medication. Low medication adherence can affect the quality of life. It has been found that the quality of life of tuberculosis patients at the Puskesmas (community health center) in Tuban Regency is still low. Therefore, research is needed to examine medication adherence in order to identify the causes of the low quality of life among tuberculosis patients in the working areas of the Rengel and Plumpang Puskesmas in Tuban Regency. Objective: To determine the relationship between medication adherence and the quality of life of tuberculosis patients in Tuban Regency. Method: This study used a Cross-Sectional research design. The sampling technique employed was simple random sampling. A total of 94 respondents participated in this study. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires directly while adhering to health protocols. Results: The study results indicated that tuberculosis patients in Tuban Regency exhibited moderate self-care, with 30 patients (31.91%) reporting frequent self-care, and 38 patients (40.43%) reporting an average quality of life. The Spearman correlation test, conducted using SPSS 25 for Windows, showed a significance value of p = 0.000, indicating that the smaller the p-value, the more significant the results. Since ? < ? (0.000 < 0.05), and the correlation coefficient (r) was 0.671, which indicates a strong correlation. Conclusion: The quality of life of tuberculosis patients is not only influenced by medication adherence but also by other factors that affect the implementation of medication adherence.

Abstract

Health problems are increasing along with the development of diseases. One of them is Urinary Tract Infection (UTI). UTI is a condition where bacteria or microbes grow and multiply in the urinary tract in significant numbers. Generally, UTI is divided into two types: lower UTI and upper UTI. Lower UTI is more common, usually occurring due to bacteria entering through the urethra. Several factors can cause UTI, including age, gender, medication use, catheterization, urinary habits, genital hygiene, and other predisposing factors. In general, women experience UTI episodes more frequently than men, with 20-30% of women experiencing recurrent UTIs. Neonates, adolescent girls, and elderly women are particularly susceptible. The prevalence of UTI in Indonesia is relatively high, with around 180,000 new cases per year. Diagnosis of UTI is based on bacterial count, with Escherichia coli being the most common causative bacteria. Prevention efforts are crucial, especially through health education targeting women. This study aims to educate PKK mothers in Temayang Village about UTI to increase awareness and prevention practices. PKK is a grassroots development movement aimed at achieving family welfare, involving community education and empowerment. The implementation involves a 5-table method with registration, consumption, audience, operator, and MC tables, focusing on UTI education and prevention. Such socialization activities are essential to enhance community knowledge and awareness in preventing and managing health issues like UTIs through education, discussion, and practical tips on clean and healthy living practices.
