Abstract

Heart failure in Indonesia is a problem that causes a lot of pain and death. Heart failure sufferers often experience a decrease in their ability to function and experience shortness of breath (dyspnea) during activity or at rest. Activity patterns in heart failure sufferers are very limited, activity patterns will change, especially if the patient experiences severe breathing difficulties. This condition causes heart failure patients to experience a decrease in their ability to carry out daily activities. The healing process for heart failure patients needs to be carried out comprehensively and involve family members. The aim of this community service program is to increase family support in caring for the daily activities of heart failure patients during rehabilitation. The method used in this activity is direct health education to family members of heart failure patients. The result of this awareness program is to help families get complete information about the importance of family support in the daily care of heart failure patients to facilitate recovery and improve quality of life.

Abstract

Post-stroke patients need to receive telerehabilitation to increase mobility, telerehabilitation approaches Orem's Self Care Theory to increase mobility so that recurrent strokes will be greatly minimized. The research method for this research is Quasi Experimental with a pre-post test design approach and purposive sampling technique. The population is post-stroke patients in the Neurology Polyclinic and Orchid Room at RSUD Dr. R Koesma Tuban numbered 50 patients. 25 people in the control group were given education and 25 people in the intervention group were given a rehabilitation video. The chi square test and normality test were carried out and data analysis used the Mann Whitney test. Mobilization during the pre test with the average score in the control group was 23.72 and the intervention group was 27.28. The Std value. Deviation 10.016 with p value = 0.381. Mobilization during the post test with the average score in the control group was 31.8 and the intervention group was 19.2. The Std value. Deviation 16.427 with p value = 0.002. Based on the results of this study, it was found that there was a significant increase in mobilization scores after being given telerehabilitation in the intervention group.   Keywords:  Mobilization; Orem's Self Care; Telerehabilitation

Abstract

Heart failure patients need to gain knowledge of heart failure, one of which is by providing education related to the process of heart failure, its causes and treatment, ways of self-care, how to take medicine, consumption of drinking water and salt intake in food to achieve actual health status. This study aims to determine the effect of group support with the WhatsApp chat method on heart failure patients. This type of research is quasi-experimental, with pretest and posttest control group designs, and it is conducted with a population of 50 patients with heart failure. We had 25 people in the treatment group and 25 people in the control group. Then, the normality test and data analysis were carried out using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test < 0.05. The results showed that the average respondent was female 33 (66%), farmer occupation 22 (44%), and Killip I functional status was 41 (82%), and the result was p = 0.000 at the level of knowledge of the respondents. From the results of this study, it was concluded that the support group using the WhatsApp chat method can affect knowledge. Still, WhatsApp chat is more appropriate for heart failure patients with higher activities.

AIDS (Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome) or a collection of various disease symptoms resulting from a decrease in an individual's immune system due to HIV. In 2014, Indonesia was listed as a country that received a red report card from The Joint United Nation Program On HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS). Abstract

Introduction. The ability to identify flood victims in Indonesia is still low, therefore efforts to improve the ability to identify victims in adolescents must be improved. Triage training based on Tabletop Disaster Exercise (TDE) will make it easier for adolescents to understand disaster scenarios. This study aims to determine triage training on tabletop disaster exercise (TDE) to increase the ability to identify victims of flood disasters in adolescents. Method. The research design used in this study was a pre-experiment with a one-group pre-post test design.  The population of 30 people was selected using a simple random sampling technique to obtain 28 respondents. Results and Analysis. The independent variable is Triage training and the dependent variable is the ability to identify disaster victims as measured using the chi-square test. The analysis in this study used the Chi-Square Test with a significance level of α = 0.05 and the processing was carried out using SPSS software version 26.0 for Windows, obtaining the Asymp Sig. Value. = 0.000. So p = 0.000 < 0.05 then H1 = accepted. Discussion. Based on this analysis meaning that there is a triage training on tabletop disaster exercise (TDE) to increase the ability to identify victims of flood disasters in adolescents.
