Abstract

This study aims to analyze the planning of sugar production capacity is efficient or not in PG Mojo Sragen. Although the level of sugar production capacity in a particular year still exceeds capacity and also lacks capacity. The production capacity planning analyzed includes the available capacity and the required capacity of each station, namely the refining station, evaporation, cooking, turning, Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP), and stamfloor (sugar packaging place). The analysis method used is RCCP (Rought Cut Capacity Planning). The results showed that the comparison of the efficiency of each workstation which was said to be inefficient was found at the evaporation workstation, WWTP, and stamfloor. The three stations have lower available capacity compared to the higher required capacity. This research is expected to provide insight for PG Mojo Sragen to increase available capacity through better alternatives.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze consumer behavior related to the increase in rice prices after the 2024 election in Surakarta City. The increase in rice prices is often an important issue in the context of the household economy, especially for consumers in urban areas such as Surakarta. Data of this study was obtained by a survey method that includes a quantitative approach from a sample of households in various sub-districts in Surakarta City. Through the analysis of the data obtained, this study explores the impact of rising rice prices on consumption patterns, changes in household budgets, and adaptation strategies implemented by consumers. The study's conclusions demonstrate that consumer spending patterns are not considerably impacted by the rise in rice prices following the election. In addition, the economic impact of the increase in rice prices also causes changes in household budget allocations, where consumers tend to prioritize spending on other basic needs. This study provides insight into how changes in food prices affect the economic well-being of households and provides recommendations for policymakers to consider interventions that can mitigate the negative impact of food price fluctuations

Abstract

In Oyster Mushroom cultivation, nutrition is one of the factors that affect productivity. Eggshells are known to contain substances that can be used as nutrients in Oyster Mushrooms because they contain 98.2% calcium carbonate. Other nutritional content is 0.9% magnesium and 0.9% phosphorus, the eggshell membrane consists of 69% protein, 2.5% fat, 1.5% water and 27% ash which are substances needed by mushrooms to live. An experiment to study the effect of three dosage levels of eggshell nutrients on the growth of white oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus). The experiment was designed in a completely randomised design with 10 treatments and four replications. The treatments were: Control (without eggshell nutrition), P1 25 grams, P2 50 grams, P3 75 grams. Thus, there were 40 experimental sample units. This experiment was conducted from 1 July to 30 July 2024. The experiment was conducted at CV. Lembah Spora, Polokarto Village, Polokarto District, Sukoharjo Regency. Abstract

This study aims to analyze trends in Timor-Leste's coffee exports to Indonesia over the past five years (2020-2025) and the factors influencing them. Timor-Leste, as an agricultural country, makes coffee its primary non-oil and gas export commodity. Timor-Leste's Arabica coffee is known for its high quality and has been exported to various countries, including Indonesia, but with significant fluctuations. This study used quantitative and qualitative methods with secondary data from various sources, including the Ministeriu Agrikultura e Pescas (MAP), the Ministry of Industry of Timor-Leste, and UN Comtrade. Data was analyzed to identify trends in export value and factors such as export volume, export prices, and trade policies. The results show that Timor-Leste's coffee exports to Indonesia have fluctuated, influenced by internal and external factors. Driving factors include geographic proximity, coffee's image as a premium product, and the increasing demand for specialty coffee in Indonesia. Barriers include logistics costs, small production scale, and lack of promotion. This study concludes that despite significant potential, Timor-Leste's coffee exports to Indonesia are not yet optimal. It is recommended that the Timor-Leste government establish national quality standards, increase farmer capacity, and establish trade partnerships with roasters in Indonesia. Promotion and branding also need to be improved to strengthen the position of Timor-Leste coffee in the Indonesian market. This research provides theoretical and practical contributions to agribusiness development and international trade, particularly in the context of developing countries.
