Abstract

Rutin is a composition inspired by the anxiety felt by the creator. This restlessness results from activities or work that are carried out repeatedly, causing a feeling of boredom and ultimately this feeling can be eliminated by no longer doing activities or work as before. Using the concept of modern music, namely music that uses instruments and technology. The instruments used in Routin's work consist of 3 electric guitars, electric bass, and drums. The artist uses a guitar playing technique with the addition of a delay effect which produces a repetition of the sound of what is played and utilizes the results of the repetition of the sound so that the resulting sound seems different to what is actually played. In order for Routine compositional works to be created academically, the creator refers to one creation method written down by the Arts Consortium, namely: (1) preparation, (2) elaboration, (3) synthesis, (4) realization of the concept, and (5) completion into the final form artworks. Some of the works that the creator used as references include, (1) Rob Scallon's work entitled Rain, (2) Ewan Dobson's work entitled Time 2, (3) Steve Reich's composition work entitled Electric Counterpoint, (4) Steve Reich's composition work entitled 2x5, (5) Work from the band Netral or NTRL entitled Flying Sink and Pertermpuran Hati, (6) Work from the band The Temper Trap entitled Sweet Disposition, (7) Work from the band Animal as Leaders entitled Red Miso.

Abstract

Bumper is an opening animation in a television program, serving as a short animation to depict the identity of a show or institution. Every TV program typically features a bumper to showcase its identity. During the internship in the MBKM 2023 program at Bali TV, I had the opportunity to create bumper music for the quiz show "Kuis Pakis Bali." I am grateful for this opportunity as it allows me to channel my passion for music and apply the knowledge gained in previous semesters to craft the bumper music for the "Kuis Pakis Bali" program. The process involved several stages: introduction, observation, music creation, and mixing/mastering. The introduction stage involved discussing the music bumper with Bali TV. The observation stage included analyzing existing bumper videos to create the musical accompaniment. In the music creation stage, I began composing the music for the bumper. Lastly, in the mixing and mastering stage, I merged the video and music, refining the sound to achieve balance and a pleasant listening experience.

Abstract

Abstract

Kata Kunci; Sanggar Paripurna, Pembinaan, PKM, Pakeliran Jawa ABSTRACTThe existence of Sanggar Paripurna increasingly exists with various creative and innovative works of art without ignoring the traditional values of Balinese culture as instilled by I Made Sidja. Made Sidia's work with Sanggar Paripurna has been displayed at various important events, both local, national and international. That Sanggar Paripurna is not only concerned with local types of Balinese art, but also cares about the development of art originating from other regions such as Java. On this year's occasion, the leadership of the plenary studio asked the supervisors to carry out community service activities with Javanese Wayang puppet material to develop students from the teenage age group. With this activity, the studio is very enthusiastic because their students are getting to know Javanese wayang again as an aesthetic comparison between Javanese wayang and Balinese wayang. In this activity, apart from collaborating with the plenary studio, we also involve students who are still active, namely sixth semester of the puppetry study program, who live close to the plenary studio, in addition to taking part in coaching, also adding to the repertoire of material from students who have received the Javanese wayang practice course on campus ISI Denpasar. In this PKM activity, the supervisor applies a simple method that is easy for Sanggar Paripurna students to understand, adapted to the material that will be provided in the training, because the majority of students or participants do not yet understand the basic techniques of Javanese wayang puppetry. The methods used are; lecture method, imitation and demonstration method, evaluation method and question and answer method. Keywords; Plenary Studio, Development, PKM, Pakeliran Java
