Abstract

This reasearch was motivated by the researcher’s curiosity about the application of the method of discovery learning in online learning, especially in writing negotiation text in class X. The formulation of the problem of this study is how the results and responses of students to the application of discovery learning method in class X negotiation text material? The purpose of this study was to examine the results and responses of students to the application of the discovery learning method of writing negotiation text in class X. The research method used was descriptive qualitative. The sample used in this study were 33 students of class X IBB SMAN 1 Batujajar. The instruments used in this study were knowledge tests, skills tests and student quitionnaires. The results showed that the knowledge test based on the group was categorized as very good with an average value of 88,84. The knowledge test based on the individual was categorized as good with an average value of 75,90. The individual-based skill test was categorized as good with an average of 83,93. The The results of the student questionnaire with a total score of 1.949 were categorized as good with a percentage of 82,028%. So, it can be concluded that the discovery learning method is suitable for online learning in class X negotiation text material.

Abstract

Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah rendahnya keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa SMP terhadap materi sastra di Kabupaten Purwakarta, yang berdampak pada minimnya kreativitas dan keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam literasi. Untuk itu, tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah mendampingi guru MGMP Bahasa Indonesia SMP Purwakarta dalam mengimplementasikan pendekatan Pembelajaran Mendalam (Deep Learning) berbasis prinsip Mindful–Meaningful–Joyful (MMJ) Learning dalam pembelajaran sastra. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan mencakup workshop intensif selama tiga sesi, yang terdiri atas pemaparan teori MMJ, penyusunan modul ajar berbasis MMJ, dan simulasi pembelajaran, dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan praktik mengajar di kelas serta refleksi melalui diskusi kelompok fokus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner pra–pasca pelatihan, observasi penerapan prinsip MMJ dalam RPP, dan dokumentasi hasil diskusi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap pendekatan MMJ, dari aspek self-efficacy merancang modul ajar, rerata nilai meningkat dari 2,85 menjadi 3,81. Aspek self-efficacy melaksanakan modul ajar, dari rerata 2,68 menjadi 3,84. Dan kesiapan implementasi MMJ dari 2,81 menjadi 3,84. Observasi menunjukkan guru telah konsisten mengimplementasikan seluruh tahapan pembelajaran sesuai prinsip MMJ dan pendekatan PjBL. FGD menunjukkan MMJ berhasil diterapkan secara reflektif dan menyenangkan, dengan adaptasi atas kendala teknis dan waktu. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan MMJ Learning efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran sastra di SMP dan dapat direplikasi di MGMP daerah lain.

Abstract

Group guidance services are a form of assistance provided by guidance and counseling teachers or counselors to a number of students through group activities. The problems in this personal-social include relationship problems with fellow friends, with teachers, problems of self-nature and ability, good self-confidence in the educational environment and the community in which they live and conflict resolution. For students who have problems regarding lack of self-confidence in school, it is appropriate to give, because the problems they experience are related to personal-social. The technique that can be given is using discussion techniques, because it is a way in which students get the opportunity to solve problems together. Each student has the opportunity to present a problem. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation and response in the implementation of group guidance services for students who have self-confidence problems. The approach used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach with phenomenological methods. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that group guidance services using discussion techniques are effective because they provide an understanding of the importance of being confident in school and provide direction so that students are more confident.
