Abstract

Rayap adalah serangga sosial yang hidup dalam suatu komunitas yang dikenal dengan istilah koloni. Aktivitas rayap sebagai hama pada tanaman perkebunan, pertanian, kehutanan, maupun pada bangunan gedung terjadi ketika habitat alami mengalami perubahan cukup drastis yang menyebabkan spesies rayap tertentu harus menyesuaikan diri terhadap perubahan tersebut. Salah satu jenis tanaman perkebunan yang dapat terserang rayap adalah tanaman karet. Tujuan Penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis spesies rayap di perkebunan karet di desa Naga Beralih Kecamatan Kampar Utara Kabupaten Kampar, Riau. Pengumpulan rayap dilakukan di tiga transek di perkebunan karet di desa Naga Beralih. Transek sepanjang 100 m dan setiap transek dibuat 10 subplot (1 m x 1 m) dengan interval 10 m. Rayap dikumpulkan dengan menggali masing-masing subplot hingga kedalaman 10 cm. Terdapat enam spesies rayap yang ditemukan yaitu Bulbitermes sp., Nasutitermes sp., Capritermes sp., Macrotermes sp., Schedorhinotermes sp dan Coptotermes sp.

Abstract

Senam hamil adalah suatu bentuk latihan yang berguna untuk memperkuat dan mempertahankan elastisitas otot-otot dinding perut, ligamen-ligamen, serta otot dasar panggul yang berhubungan dengan proses persalinan. Latihan ini berfungsi untuk memperkuat stabilitas inti tubuh yang akan membantu memelihara kesehatan tulang belakang. Selama masa kehamilan ibu hamil mengalami perubahan fisik dan psikologis yang dapat menimbulkan ketidaknyamanan terutama pada trimester III seperti sering buang air kecil, tekanan dan ketidaknyamanan pada perineum, nyeri punggung, konstipasi, varises, mudah lelah, kontraksi braxton hicks, kram kaki, edema pergelangan kaki dan perubahan mood serta peningkatan kecemasan, beberapa masalah tersebut dapat diatasi dan diminimalisir bila ibu rutin melakukan senam hamil. Kegiatan pengadian dilaksanakan di Desa Sungai Jalau dengan peserta sebanyak 16 orang ibu hamil. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 16 Mei 2024 di Poskesdes Desa Sungai Jalau. Berdasarkan  pengamatan langsung  selama  dan  setelah  kegiatan  senam hamil berlangsung, maka didapatkan  85 %  ibu  hamil  sudah  bisa melakukan gerakan-gerakan  senam  hamil  dan  mengerti  manfaat  dari  senam  hamil. Diharapkan pada kegiatan berikutnya program pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat dilakukan di daerah lain dengan ruang lingkup yang lebih luas.

Abstract

In the Sialang Sakti Village, Pekanbaru City, there is a group of women that used to conduct a household scale fish culture activities specifically catfish nursery (Pangasius hypopthalmus). Most of them using a simple earthen pond. They did not apply any modern technique in culturing the fish. To improve the ability of the women community in culturing fish, a dissemination of environmental friendly fish culture technique was conducted specifically catfish nursery. Slides and a simple manual book for catfish nursery in fish culture was used during the training. The community were also trained to construct tarp ponds, feeding, rearing and managing the water quality in the pond. Twenty five women that were belonged to “PKK” group attended the training. Before the training, their knowledge on fish nursery was very low, but after the training, their knowledge improved by 85%. Results of monitoring and evaluation activities shown that the women from the PKK group were able to catfish nursery with simple earthen pond and sustainable.

Abstract

Household waste is an environmental problem that has the potential to be very dangerous if alternative solutions are not found to reduce it. One of the household wastes that is often found is egg shells. This waste is often found in cake sellers, restaurants, households and laying hen farms. Generally, Indonesian egg shells have not been managed properly so people only throw them away or store them in empty areas in village areas. The aim of community service is 1) a solution for managing egg shells as organic fertilizer, 2) Providing training regarding the use of egg shell waste as organic fertilizer. The method used is direct outreach and training with the vegetable cultivating community. The materials used are cassava leaves, animal waste, fruit waste, EM4 and palm sugar. The results of community service activities for vegetable cultivators show good results. The organic fertilizer solution that has been mixed with various other supporting materials is then put into a bottle and tightly closed, then fermented for up to 10 days at a temperature of 40°C. After 10 days, liquid organic fertilizer is put into packaging bottles. The organic fertilizer produced can be used directly by the cultivating community.

Abstract

Clove flower stalks (Syzygium aromaticum L. Merr. Perry) are agricultural waste containing eugenol compounds, which have the potential to be natural active ingredients in mosquito repellent products. This study aims to describe the formulation process of mosquito repellent made from clove flower stalks, evaluate the effectiveness of burning time, and analyze public perception of its use. The method used is descriptive quantitative. The product is formulated from a mixture of clove flower stalk powder, adhesive (joss powder), and water with a ratio of 20 g: 6 g: 40 mL, molded in a spiral shape, and dried for 2-3 days. The resulting product has a dark brown color, a distinctive clove aroma, a smooth texture, a spiral length of 65 cm, a diameter of 11 cm, and an average weight of 21 grams, resembling the shape of synthetic mosquito repellent. The average burning time reaches 9.3 hours. Public perception of this product is relatively positive, especially in terms of aroma, color, and effectiveness in repelling mosquitoes. These findings indicate that clove flower stalks have the potential to be an alternative raw material that is effective, environmentally friendly, and acceptable to the community in the development of natural mosquito repellent products.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. The goal of this research is to determine how product attribute improvements in Basreng Pedas and Capcin Creamy affect Generation Z's purchase interest, the main consumer market being targeted. The study used a descriptive qualitative method, using field observations of offline sales during the Car Free Day (CFD) event in Taman Bungkul and online sales from WhatsApp, Instagram, and TikTok. The information was gathered through sales data, field notes, and visual documentation. According to the findings, the main variables influencing Generation Z's tastes and purchasing decisions are flavor innovation, aesthetics, and package design. Due to its spicy flavor and crunchy texture, which are consistent with the tastes of young people, Basreng Pedas had the highest purchase frequency, according to offline observations. On the other hand, internet sales data indicate that Capcin Creamy was ordered more often due to its appealing look and ability to be shared on social media. Additionally, price bundling tactics were shown to increase buying interest by providing increased perceived value. These results demonstrate that small firms in the contemporary culinary market can greatly improve their product attractiveness by using a combination of sensory innovation, visual presentation, and pricing strategies. ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memahami bagaimana inovasi dalam atribut produk Capcin Creamy dan Basreng Pedas mempengaruhi keputusan beli generasi Z, yang merupakan kelompok konsumen utama. Metode yang diterapkan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan observasi lapangan, mencakup penjualan secara offline di Car Free Day (CFD) Taman Bungkul dan penjualan online dari WhatsApp, Instagram, serta TikTok. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara dokumentasi visual, catatan lapangan, dan ringkasan penjualan. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa inovasi rasa, desain tampilan, dan kemasan adalah elemen kunci yang memengaruhi preferensi dan minat beli gen z. Hasil dari observasi offline mengungkapkan bahwa Basreng Pedas menjadi produk dengan angka pembelian tertinggi, berkat sensasi pedas dan kerenyahan yang disukai oleh anak muda. Di sisi lain, penjualan online menunjukkan bahwa Capcin Creamy lebih diminati karena penampilannya yang estetis dan menarik di platform media sosial. Selain itu, strategi bundling harga terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan minat beli dengan memberikan persepsi nilai yang lebih baik. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa perpaduan inovasi dalam aspek sensorik, visual, dan harga memiliki makna penting bagi UMKM dalam menarik perhatian konsumen di pasar kuliner modern.
