Abstract

Sektor pertanian masih menjadi salah satu unggulan sebagai penggerak sektor perekonomian di Indonesia, begitu juga di Kabupaten Banyuwangi yang memiliki potensi sumberdaya alam berlimpah. Salah satu komoditi hortikultura yang saat ini menjadi primadona di Kabupaten Banyuwangi adalah buah naga, dimana salah satu sentranya adalah Kecamatan Bangorejo. Permasalahan klasik yang terjadi dalam dunia agribisnis adalah rendahnya posisi tawar petani pada saat tiba musim panen yang saat ini sebagian besar produk buah naga langsung ditampung oleh pengepul beserta harga dan kualitas yang juga ditetapkan oleh pengepul. Kondisi ini dapat diperbaiki apabila ada kerjasama antara berbagai pihak yang memiliki kepentingan dan pengaruh di bidang agribisnis buah naga. Analisis stakeholder memetakan pihak yang terlibat beserta kebutuhan dan peran yang harus dijalankan masing-masing pihak tersebut dalam mendukung keberlanjutan agribisnis buah naga di Kecamatan Bangorejo Kabupaten Banyuwangi.

Abstract

Banyuwangi is in a position that is very strategic that have potential include prospective tourism and business vehicles in the form of a crossing port to the Bali, loading port of goods, beach tourism, Ijen Mountain tours and Mangrove Forests. At Cemara Beach, there are about 11 types of Mangroves whose density is still lacking. Even though around it there are ponds, as well as the landing place to lay eggs. In relation to the living conditions of coastal communities, one important aspect of strengthening Mangrove conservation is to involve and seek local community support. The existence of Mangrove areas is expected to reduce sedimentation. This research was conducted on the east coast of Java Island, namely Cemara Beach, which is located in Rowo Village, Pakis Sub-district, Banyuwangi District, Banyuwangi Regency, East Java, Indonesia in 2020. The results of the study show: a) The Community is able to deal with change and technological innovation overcome the negative impact of the development of special interest tourism as a center for Mangrove processing production, Mangrove nurseries, turtle conservation, Cemara forest; b) The ability of the community has increased sufficiently in entrepreneurship based on Mangrove potency on the Cemara beach; c) Partner communities are able to plan integrated and sustainable management of areas that will be used as the basis for implementing physical development, spatial facilities, and special interest tourism infrastructure.

Abstract

Banyuwangi Regency become one of the cayenne pepper supplier to the national market, and Wongsorejo District is the largest cayenne pepper center. The amount of supply, continuity, quality, and price of cayenne pepper in Wongsorejo District shows different values ​​over time. This can hamper the performance of the cayenne pepper agribusiness supply chain. The purpose of this study was to map the flow of cayenne pepper supply chain, and to measure the performance of the cayenne pepper supply chain in Wongsorejo District. The research method uses descriptive-qualitative analysis to map the supply chain flow of cayenne pepper, and the Hayami added value analysis method to measure the performance of the cayenne pepper supply chain. The results showed that the supply chain of cayenne pepper in Wongsorejo District consisted of Agricultural Kiosks and the Government as suppliers; farmers as producers; collector traders, wholesalers, retailers and market traders as distributors; as well as consumers. Farmers get a value added of Rp. 5.845,83/kg, wholesaler of Rp. 12.849,48/kg, and retailers of Rp. 5.323,74/kg with a marketing margin of Rp. 18.750,83/kg. The supply chain of cayenne pepper in Wongsorejo District is classified as efficient, because the profits share is greater than the costs share.
