Abstract

The Koch Snowflake Island (Koch Snowflake) is composed of three Koch curves rotated by suitable angles and fitted together. The Koch curve is constructed using an iterative procedure beginning with the initiator of the set as the unit line segment. The unit line segment is divided into thirds and the middle third removed, then replaced with equilateral triangle without base. In this article to get formulation of the area fractals Koch Snowflake and its variations, generated by generator equilateral triangle, isosceles triangle and square to the sides of the regular polygon which has n sides.

Abstract

The number of conflicts within the Islamic community triggered by the issue of ikhtilaf is still frequent. Conflicts due to differences in religious understanding already occurred in Minangkabau in the early 20th century, namely the feud between the Kaum Tua and the Kaum Muda. This article examines Sheikh Sulaiman Arrasuli’s role in reconciling the conflict in Minangkabau at the time. This research is a part of library research by using qualitative approach to elucidate the intellectual dynamics in the 20th century in Minangkabau. The findings are that the conflict occurred between the Kaum Tua and the Kaum Muda in Minangkabau had a major impact on the creation of polarization and division in society. In this case, although Sheikh Sulaiman Arrasuli was representation of the Kaum Tua, he was able to become a mediating figure who reconciled these groups. Sheikh Sulaiman Arrasuli not only acted as a defender of the Kaum Tua but also tried to find other alternatives to bridge the two sides for reconciliation. Sheikh Sulaiman Arrasuli took three steps to reconcile the conflicts. The first is instill an inclusive attitude and caution in giving fatwas to minimize the spread of erroneous fatwas that can disunite the community. The second is to reconcile Adat and religious groups. Thirdly, Sheikh Sulaiman Arrasuli maintained good relations with the Kaum Muda and persuaded the Kaum Muda to stop the conflict, because it harmed the public interest.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and analyse the ability to speak (mahāratul kalām ) while learning Arabic in an Islamic boarding school environment. With a qualitative approach, this research involves students as the main subject in certain Islamic boarding schools, where data is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the physical, social, and cultural environment of Islamic boarding schools strongly supports the Arabic language learning process by creating a conducive atmosphere for students to practicece speaking. Environment-based learning strategies, such as group discussions and daily dialogues, have proven to be effective in improving students' speaking skills. Despite the obstacles, such as lack of resources and the awkwardness of students, the proposed solution includes training for teachers and creating a more inclusive atmosphere. This research is expected to contribute to the development of Arabic language learning methods in Islamic boarding schools and increase the effectiveness of Arabic language mastery among students in.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan memproduksi teks eksposisi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sanggar berdasarkan struktur, piranti kebahasaan dan strategi linguistik. Metode yang dgunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah cakap (wawancara) dan dokumentasi. Teknik analis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan penelitian terdapat 19 siswa menggunakan tiga struktur, 9 siswa menggunakan dua struktur dan 2 siswa menggunakan satu struktur. Terdapat 4 siswa menggunakan enam piranti kebahasaan, 5 siswa menggunakan lima piranti kebahasaan, 15 siswa menggunakan empat piranti kebahasaan, 6 siswa menggunakan tiga piranti kebahasaan. Terdapat 30 siswa menggunakan dua piranti penguhubung intrakalimat. Terdapat 25 siswa menggunakan dua piranti penghubung antarkalimat dan 5 siswa menggunakan satu piranti penghubung antarkalimat. Terdapat 10 siswa menggunakan dua piranti penghubung antarparagraf dan 20 siswa menggunakan satu piranti penghubung antaraparagraf. Terdapat 1 siswa mendapatkan predikat sangat baik. Terdapat 15 siswa mendapatkan predikat baik. Terdapat 13 siswa mendapatkan predikat cukup. Terdapat 1 siswa mendapat predikat kurang. Total nilai sebanyak 2.342 dengan nilai rata rata 78 kategori cukup. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan memproduksi teks eksposisi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sanggar berada pada kategori cukup
