Abstract

Several house constructions do not often follow certain old patterns in its creation. Additionally, the owners have their willingness and dream in the houses that would be classified into various types of building by an architect. This condition raised a problem in which it complicated the owners to have a preliminary consultation with architect regarding recommendation of type and house specification based on budget and land area. In Gorontalo, architect services are mostly used to build a house in a housing area, particularly those who are in the middle to the upper level. In some cases, the owner should come consulting with the architect directly. The research aimed to apply forward chaining method as a recommendation of residence type for the owner. The system development method applied waterfall method. The research finding was Expert System of Housing Type through an application of forward chaining method functioned by using PHP programming language and MySQL storage as well as the application that is equipped by knowledge as experts’ that can recommend the appropriate type and specification design based on willingness and necessity of owner. The aspect of house type determination is based on land size where the house to be constructed and aspect of house specification determination is seen from material selection and use

Abstract

The dictionary, the term computer widely circulated today, is still in the form of books. Many make it difficult for users because they have to search for the meaning and terms of the computer manually. The method used in this research using the Research and Development method, where the researcher conducts fact gathering that refers to the KBBI dictionary. It was then built using the android studio application as a medium to create an information system term computer dictionary.  With this Android-based dictionary, anyone and anywhere anyone can access it easily. For that, there is a need for a dictionary of terms, computers to facilitate the public in understanding the meaning of words and terms of computers in the form of mobile applications, especially android-based.

Abstract

The problem faced is difficulty registering participants only recorded in the notebook, so it takes a long time. It is feared that there are many queues at the registration location. Codeigniter is one of the best frameworks available today. Many major websites have used Codeigniter as the main framework for building websites and applications. The result of this study is that it can help participants who want to attend national seminars efficiently in terms of cost and effectiveness in terms of time. The obstacles faced are the difficulty of registering participants only in the notebook. Hence, it takes a long time, and it is feared that there will be many queues at the registration location. Codeigniter is one of the best frameworks today, and many large websites have used CodeIgniter as the main framework for building websites and applications.The method used by the author in this final project is Research and Development (R&D), which is research used to produce seminar registration applications obtained offline and online and test the effectiveness of products. The results of this study can help participants who want to attend national seminars efficiently in terms of cost and effectiveness in terms of time.

Abstract

This study designed the Selection of Outstanding Students. To produce new findings in the world of technology, a lot of research has been carried out, especially for the world of education. One example is the selection of outstanding students where, this selection is needed by the school for external purposes, such as providing data on outstanding students to the Education Office, providing scholarships to students who excel, and making it easier for schools to enter every student in competitions in the world of education. The purpose of the research is that this selection system for high achieving students can be used by schools that want to select outstanding students, for example speed and accuracy in determining outstanding students. Because if this selection is done by someone, it will still experience inaccuracies or it could be subjective. The method used in this research is the Research and Development method or known as the research and development method. This research method is defined as a research method used in producing certain products and testing the effectiveness of these products, testing the system using the test case method with a white box testing and black box testing approach. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method can help the process of determining outstanding students, based on trials using white box and black box testing resulting in a Ciclometic Complexity (CC) = 3, said to be appropriate and feasible to use and implement.

Abstract

Health is a very important part in the life of our nation and country, in a developed and developing nation there is a healthy society. Healthy can be defined as the state of an individual who is prosperous both physically, economically and socially. Health is what needs to be maintained and cared for for the survival of a nation and state. Seeing the importance of the health element in a nation, the government has implemented the Nawacita program with one of the points referring to family health. In implementing the healthy family program, the government has sought to collect data and control healthy families with a family approach. Looking at the data collection system for healthy families with status determination, that is, averaging the indicator values to get the family's health status. The researcher intends to develop in terms of determining family health status by using a combination method of the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) method with Naïve Bayes with the aim of knowing the results of applying the method and obtaining better results. Based on the results of the research conducted, the accuracy value of 93.53% was obtained in the combination model of the Naïve Bayes KNN method. So it can be concluded that the combination of these methods is good for determining family health status.

Abstract

The Integrated Service Center for Women and Children Empowerment (P2TP2A) in Boalemo Regency is an institution that provides services to the community in cases of Domestic Violence (KDRT). The issue that arises is the lack of public knowledge about KDRT and its handling. It is important to continuously educate the community about the negative consequences of domestic violence and the importance of supporting victims and preventing such violence. With increased awareness and community participation, it is hoped that domestic violence can be minimized and eliminated, creating a safe and harmonious environment for all family members. Cases of KDRT continue to occur without being realized by the community and are rarely reported to the Center for Domestic Violence Services (PLKB) due to a lack of information on how to report KDRT cases to the PLKB. Most people feel that the complaint service is limited to reporting without any follow-up process. The research objective is to design an information system that provides information about KDRT as a means of socialization to the community and assists the community in reporting KDRT cases easily and flexibly through Android smartphones. The system analysis method used in this research is the Research and Development (R&D) method, which aims to produce a specific product and test its effectiveness. This application is developed using Java and PHP programming languages, with MySQL as the database for data storage. The system utilizes web service techniques to retrieve data from the server. The result of this research is an application of an information system that facilitates the presentation of information about KDRT through Android smartphones, equipped with online reporting features, and can map the location of the reporter to facilitate follow-up actions by the PLKB. The calculation results show that the Cyclomatic Complexity (CC) = 2 and V (G) = 2, indicating that the system is effective and efficient. The system implementation can be done on Android version 10.0 (Q), version 9.0 (Pie), and version 8.0 (Oreo).

Abstract

This research focuses on issues within the agricultural sector, specifically in cocoa farming. The associated problem is the lack of agricultural extension workers, which results in farmers' limited understanding of cocoa plant diseases and their management. As a consequence, disease identification in cocoa plants has traditionally relied on mere estimates, often proving inaccurate and inefficient in taking appropriate actions. The primary objective of this research is to design and develop an Android-based application utilizing the Certainty Factor method for diagnosing diseases in cocoa plants. The application is envisioned to function as an intelligent consultant for providing disease diagnoses in cocoa plants. The research employs the Research and Development methodology, gathering data from both primary and secondary sources through observations and interviews. The application is tested using both whitebox and blackbox methodologies. Whitebox testing results demonstrate that the system can operate effectively, as indicated by calculations of V(G) and Cyclomatic Complexity (CC). Blackbox testing, conducted with sample tests, also indicates that the system functions as expected and efficiently. In conclusion, the system developed in this research can significantly assist users, particularly farmers, in diagnosing diseases in cocoa plants. The expert system for diagnosing cocoa plant diseases can be relied upon and operates effectively.

Abstract

Information technology has greatly facilitated our various activities, such as finding food, finding locations, using online motorcycle taxis, discussing online, and sending goods. The Tilongkabila Prosperous Citizens Cooperative is one of the cooperatives that aims to provide money-lending services for the community around the Bone Bolango district. Location Based Service is a service that can be accessed through a smartphone, which can detect the user's location and provide information about places around them based on the current location. The cooperative has many employees called Mantri. Mantri's job is to do billing. The need for supervision of orderlies who are working using Location Based Services (LBS) provides various significant benefits for cooperatives. Research objectives Supervision of orderlies at the Tilongkabila Prosperous Citizens Cooperative is carried out to ensure compliance with duties, prevent abuse of working time, increase effectiveness and productivity, and ensure transparency and accountability. With effective supervision, cooperatives can immediately identify and address problems, improve the quality of service to customers, and assist in the evaluation of orderly performance. The method used in this study is the Waterfall Method, which describes the process of making a system carried out linearly and sequentially, similar to a waterfall that flows in the direction from one stage to the next. The results showed that Location Service (LBS) for orderly supervision at the Tilongkabila Prosperous Citizens Cooperative increased task compliance, reduced abuse of working time, and increased effectiveness and productivity. LBS enables more transparent and accountable real-time monitoring, making it easier to identify and resolve issues. The quality of service to customers increases because orderlies can serve more efficiently and on time, increasing customer satisfaction. Orderly performance evaluations are becoming more structured and data-driven, supporting better development and training decisions.

Abstract

The development of technology and business competition encourages companies to improve performance, including the employee selection process. This study designs a Decision Support System (DSS) for employee recruitment at Sashop Kota Gorontalo to accelerate selection and minimize assessment errors. The system assists decision-makers in selecting candidates more objectively based on predetermined criteria. Additionally, structured data storage makes administrative processes more efficient compared to manual methods. The system is developed using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method with PHP, HTML, and MySQL and is modeled using UML. White-box and black-box testing show that the system functions as designed, with a region value (R) = 2, independent paths = 2, and cyclomatic complexity (CC) = 2.
