Abstract

Saat dunia sudah mengalami era globalisasi, kita bisa berhubungan satu dengan yang lain dengan mudah dan sangat menguntungkan. Tetapi dengan adanya globalisasi ini mengakibatkan banyaknya budaya yang masuk dan menyebabkan berbagai masalah di negeri ini, misalnya menurunnya rasa cinta budaya dan nasionalisme generasi muda. Budaya Indonesia bisa hilang termakan zaman karena orang-orang Indonesia lebih suka meniru kebudayaan luar. Anak muda sebagai penerus bangsa harus bisa mempertahankan kelestarian budaya daerahnya masing-masing untuk memperkuat identitas kita sebagai orang Indonesia. Namun, kita merasa hilang harapan jika melihat anak-anak muda akhir-akhir ini merasa lebih bangga dengan budaya luar. Padahal kunci konservasi budaya terletak pada niat dan semangat anak-anak muda untuk tetap melestarikan dan generasi sebelumnya  mengajarkan hal-hal yang mereka ketahui tentang budaya, sejarah dan tradisi negara kepada generasi muda. Sejak dini, orang Indonesia harus rajin mempelajari bahasa daerah, tarian daerah, menonton pertunjukan tradisional atau upacara adat, supaya rasa cinta terhadap budaya tumbuh dan berkembang. Sekarang anak-anak TK cenderung suka menonton Ben 10 dan bermain boneka berbie, yang semuanya pengaruh luar. Di era global mempelajari budaya luar khususnya penguasaan bahasa asing (Bahasa Inggris, Cina) memang menjadi suatu syarat untuk memperoleh pekerjaan yang bagus, namun bukan berarti harus meninggalkan budaya bangsa. Berbanggalah dengan candi-candi, kain tenun, tari piring, ketukan kendang, karena inilah identitas bangsa Indonesia. Perjuangan kita sekarang adalah mengembalikan rasa cinta itu kepada generasi muda Indonesia. Tumbuhkan rasa cinta akan budaya kita sejak usia muda.

Abstract

Discussing the radicalism of religion and global terrorism is a global challenge that is now a worldwide concern, including for the Islamic community in Indonesia. Research in this paper with an analytical descriptive approach using the documentative method. The general purpose of this research is to understand the root causes of terrorism and religious radicalism in Indonesia? What is the solution of Islam to overcome the problem of religious radicalism and global terrorism? The results show: first, the historical roots of global terrorism and religious radicalism is a very complex portrait of social, political, and economic history. Also, the complexity of local, regional and global problems are interconnected with one another. Second, the Islamic solution to overcome this problem with the Islamic approach of peace for all (rahmatan lil alamin) which prioritizes the path of dialogue and world peace.

Abstract

This article discuses on policy evaluation research of publication at ITS campus. More specifically, concerning international publications in the aspect of Social Humanities. It is because universities are now required to pay attention to multidisciplinary studies that enable research institutions to seize opportunities and overcome challenges influenced by many factors, aspects, and approaches. Therefore, understanding and conducting a more comprehensive policy evaluation is always essential to do. In this case, policy evaluation is seen as a simple way of evaluation. From the achievements of research and international publications that have been carried out or have been produced. What are the supporting and inhibiting factors of internationally reputable publication activities carried out on the ITS Surabaya campus? The study results show that ITS lecturers' achievements and contributions in international publications in the social and humanities field should be appreciated and supported by systematic, comprehensive, and sustainable policies. The reason is, seeing the number of lecturers in the social and humanities field is also not small, although not too many. Therefore, solutions for making research-based policies in the social and humanities field need to be improved. It is the key to supporting the publication step. Without a research policy, the publication will be challenging to do in an organized and sustainable manner. Obstacles exist from internal and external that can be understood by relevant stakeholders to take alternative steps to solve them through collaboration and synergy in publications.
