Abstract

Abstract Siska Oktaviani (2014) : Reducing Suckig Fingers Behavior on The Kids with Intellectual Disturbance through Aversive Stimulus Technique In Class IIIC of SDN(SDLB)35 Painan Utara. Thesis. Undergraduate Program of Faculty of Education of Padang State University   This research was derived from the fact indicating that a kid with intellectual disturbance was frequently sucking his fingers during the learning process and he declined to do the assignment given. While sucking his fingers, the kid had less concern on learning. The ain of this research was to see the effectiveness of aversive stimulus techniqueto reduce sucking fingers behavior of the kid with intellectual disturbance by using empedu tanah(sambiloto). The hypothesis of research was empedu tanah (sambiloto) could reduce sucking fingers behavior of the kid with intellectual disturbance in class IIIC of SDN(SDLB) 35 Painan Utara. This was single subject research with applied A-B-A design. The result of data analysis indicated that in the baseline condition which was conducted for 10 days around 234-120 second, the tendency of the direction improved. Further, in the intervention condition which was conducted for 12 days around 220-55 second, the tendency of direction decreased. In the baseline condition A2 which was conducted for 8 days around 65-40 second, the tendency of the direction also decreased. The result of within and inter-condition data analysis required that the hypothesis whould be accepted if the estimation of direction tendency, stability tendency, data recording and the changing level improved positively, and the percentage of the data overlapped getting smaller. This research concluded that use of aversive stimulus technique cloud reduce sucking fingers behavior of the kid with intellectual disturbance n class IIIC of SDN (SDLB) Painan Utara. Based on the research findings, it was recommended to the teachers and parents to have more concern on the children behaviors and reduce the negative behavior by using aversive stimulus technique. Abstract

The by-product of pepper production in Bangka Belitung is the waste of pepper skin. This waste tends to be untapped and thrown away so that it can disrupt the environmental ecosystem. One of the efforts to utilize pepper skin waste is processing it into activated carbon as the base material for supercapacitor electrodes. The initial stage of the synthesis was carried out by a pre-carbonization process on a sample of dry and clean pepper peel waste. Furthermore, the sample is chemically activated using a chemical activator and also physical activation at a temperature of 700ºC in N2 gas flow conditions. The activated carbon resulting from the activation is then molded into electrode plates in the form of pellets with a diameter of 1 cm. The electrode plates were characterized using a scanning electron microscope-energy dispersive x-ray (SEM-EDX) to determine morphology and cyclic voltammetry (CV) to determine the specific capacitance value. SEM test results show that the electrode sample has porous morphology and CV results show that the sample activated using the KOH activator has a specific capacitance value of 15.20 F/g. These results indicate that the activated carbon synthesized from the waste of pepper peel can be used as a supercapacitor electrode material and also a solution for overcoming the negative effects of pepper skin waste.

Abstract

This study intended to improve learning outcomes of events in life themes using make a match method for fifth grade students at SDN 020 Samarinda Utara in 2018/2019 academic year. The type of research used is CAR that is carried out in II cycles and each cycle consists of 3 meetings. The results showed that (1) The application of the make a match method in learning can increase the activities of teachers and students. The results reveal from the observations of teacher activity in the first cycle scored 58.8 to 78.8 in the second cycle. It was also proved by the results which getting a value of 60 in cycle I, increasing in cycle II with a value of 86.6. (2) The learning outcomes on theme 7 of the social studies subject matter have increased after taking action. It can be seen from the average class in the first cycle of 71.33 with a percentage of completeness that is 33.3%, in the second cycle to 80.83 with a percentage of completeness of 83.3%. (3) students' skills in making mind maps increased in cycle I gained an average value of 68.8, p and in cycle II scored 80.2.

Abstract

This research was motivated by findings during the observation of the learning process carried out at SD Negeri 001 North Samarinda. It is known that when teaching in class there are some students who are less interested in reading and tend to be bored when paying attention to the teacher's explanation. As a result, researchers are interested in seeing the process of reading interest by using picture stories. The method used in this research is qualitative method. Class teachers, students and parents of class IIB students as resource persons in this study. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Interviews and documentation as data collection tools. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Testing the validity of the data using source triangulation. The results showed that the interest in reading by using picture story books was very large because with the pictures in the story books, it was easier for students to understand the meaning or content of the books they read.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance teachers' skills in utilizing the Wordwall application as an interactive learning medium in the Sungai Kunjang District, Samarinda City. The activity was conducted offline and involved 30 elementary school teachers who are members of the Teacher Working Group (KKG). The implementation began with a planning stage, which included identifying teachers' needs regarding the use of digital media in learning. The training was then delivered through the introduction of Wordwall features, demonstrations of how the application works, and hands-on practice sessions. The results of the program showed a significant improvement in teachers' ability to operate Wordwall and successfully integrate it into classroom learning activities. Students also responded positively to the use of this media, as indicated by their increased motivation and enthusiasm for learning. Furthermore, the use of Wordwall accelerated both the preparation and implementation of learning activities, thereby improving time efficiency. However, challenges remain, such as the lack of confidence among some teachers in using technology, highlighting the need for further support and guidance.
