Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the discipline of teachers' work. The study population was 56 teachers of SMP Negeri scattered at 2 schools. Given the limited population, this study is a population study where the sample is the entire population of the State school teachers in Muara Jawa.The research method using correlation and regression. The study found that the variables that affect the discipline of teachers 'work is variable Principal Leadership (X1) at a very strong level of closeness, namely 0.912, teachers' work motivation (X2) with variable at a strong level of closeness, that is equal to 0.865.It is concluded that the increase in labor discipline teachers of SMP Negeri Muara Jawa Se can be done by improving the leadership of the principal and teachers work motivation. Researchers suggested that the relevant parties can make efforts to promote the leadership of the principal and teachers work motivation in order to achieve a good working discipline at teachers of SMP Negeri In Muara Jawa.Keywords : Leadership Principal, Teacher Work Motivation, Discipline Work

Abstract

Over the era of globalization and increasing competition in the world of education today Leadership Principal has an important role in the realization of labor discipline good teacher. Principal should pay more attention to discipline teachers' work because this is one issue that is never-ending. Principals must have leadership that is firmly against teachers who are not disciplined conduct of its work denganmemberikan sanctions should be. Decisive action is taken so that the work of teachers in accordance with existing standards, but of course so that the work can be perfect to be supported with creating an atmosphere linkungan good work, so that teachers do not feel pressured in the conduct of its work, thus there is a reciprocal relationship between the leadership and subordinate to co-exist as duties and responsibilities.

Abstract

Television is a mass media that has the ability to access information quickly and reach audiences in infinite numbers from children to adults. Television with a variety of channels with various events that aired has been able to attract the audience, and make the audience interested because it is presented with an attractive appearance and settings tailored to the needs of the audience. Based on this study was prepared with the aim to determine the effect that can be caused by animated impressions Adit Sopo Jarwo. Adit Sopo Jarwo is a work of the nation that deserves an appreciation so it is necessary to get special attention whether the show that aired has a positive impact on the audience, especially the children who generally love to watch cartoons. The method used is qualitative to determine how to find, collect, process and analyze data of research result. Based on the result of the research, it is concluded that the character education value of Adit Sopo Jarwo show is that children begin to learn to be a small realist who eagerly learns and controls the world objectively. Children observe objects and some people more closely, memorize and memorize strengthen , Learning to hang out with peers, developing conscience, moral understanding, and values, developing the necessary concepts daily and liking pictorial stories.

Abstract

The experimental method is where students practice, try, see and prove for themselves the work or something they learn.This research can be said PTK (classroom action research) used to know improvement of learning result IPA by using experimental method on the subject of simple tech work on the students of grade IVA SDN 010 BayurSamarinda Utara Learning Year 2016/2017. After teachers or researchers apply experimental methods. This research was conducted on Wednesday 8 February 2017 and the research was completed on Friday 17 February 2017 the number of students as the object of research as many as 30 students. This research was conducted in two cycles one cycle has 4 stages: planning stage, implementation stage, observation stage, and reflection stage. Each end of the cycle is given a test to determine student learning outcomes. Preliminary data is taken from the pre-cycle beginning done before cycle I begins. While the final data obtained at the end of each cycle after the test. The collected data is analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively, using the frequency table, and the mean score, and setting the level of learning result category. The benchmark indicator of the success of this study is if 75% of students have obtained a minimum score of 70 from the final test results then the class is considered complete.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the description of conflict management of teachers and principals at primary schools in Kutai Kartanegara and to find out whether conflict management affects the effectiveness of school management. The research method used is quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and data analysis techniques using descriptive and inferential statistics. From result of hypothesis test that there is a significant and positive influence between managerial ability to school management effectiveness with Fcount test result 78,794> 3,875 Ftabel with sig = 0,000 <5% this means linear regression model can be used to predict influence of conflict management to effectiveness of school management. Result of determinant test 0,220 can be interpreted that equal to 22,0% effectiveness variable can be influenced by conflict management variable and the rest influenced other variable not examined in this research. Based on the result of instrument score of variables of conflict management, the distribution is in the medium category and based on inferential test can be concluded that conflict management has a significant positive effect on the effectiveness of school management.

Abstract

The principal should pay more attention to the teacher's performance as this is one of the never-ending problems. The principal must have a strong leadership spirit against teachers who have poor performance and impose the sanction that should be. Such assertive action is taken so that the work of teachers in accordance with existing standards, but of course that the work can be perfect should be supported by creating a good working environment, so that teachers do not feel depressed in doing their work, thus there is a mutual relationship between the leadership and subordinates to fill each other as their duties and responsibilities.Keywords: Principal Leadership, Teacher Performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of leadership of the Principal with the performance of teachers, the influence of teacher work motivation with teacher performance, the influence of leadership of Principal and teacher work motivation together with teacher performance. The population of this research is 90 elementary school teachers in 9 primary schools. Given the population is limited then this study is a population study where the sample research is the entire population of teachers in the State Elementary School Samarinda Ilir. The research method used quantitative method with regression analysis. The result of descriptive analysis revealed that the performance of teacher of majority in medium category that is equal to 63%, majority of headmaster leadership in medium category that is equal to 71%, and at work motivation of majority teacher in medium category that is equal to 69,6%. So that is so descriptively both teacher performance, Principal leadership and teacher work motivation is in medium category. The results of the study found that: (a) there was influence of Headmaster Leader's variables (X1) with teacher performance variable (Y) at the strong closeness level, that is 0,749 with coefficient determination 0,561, and regression equation Ŷ = 67,402 +0,456 X1 (b ) There is influence of teacher work motivation variable (X2) with teacher performance variable (Y) at moderate level, that is 0,749 with coefficient determination 0,561, and regression equation Ŷ = 60,734 + 0,572X2 (C) there is influence of leadership variable of Principal (X1) and teacher work motivation variable (X2) together with teacher performance variable (Y) at strong level of closeness, that is equal to 0,774 with coefficient determination 0,600 and regression equation Ŷ = 57,299 + 0.340 X1 + 0.236X2. The conclusion of this research is that improving the performance of elementary school teachers in Samarinda Ilir can be done by improving principal leadership and teacher work motivation.

Abstract

This study intended to improve learning outcomes of events in life themes using make a match method for fifth grade students at SDN 020 Samarinda Utara in 2018/2019 academic year. The type of research used is CAR that is carried out in II cycles and each cycle consists of 3 meetings. The results showed that (1) The application of the make a match method in learning can increase the activities of teachers and students. The results reveal from the observations of teacher activity in the first cycle scored 58.8 to 78.8 in the second cycle. It was also proved by the results which getting a value of 60 in cycle I, increasing in cycle II with a value of 86.6. (2) The learning outcomes on theme 7 of the social studies subject matter have increased after taking action. It can be seen from the average class in the first cycle of 71.33 with a percentage of completeness that is 33.3%, in the second cycle to 80.83 with a percentage of completeness of 83.3%. (3) students' skills in making mind maps increased in cycle I gained an average value of 68.8, p and in cycle II scored 80.2.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how to strengthen character education at SDN 008 Samarinda. The data analysis technique for closed questionnaire data and interviews used descriptive qualitative analysis. The implementation of character education at SDN 008 Samarinda runs by the school's vision, mission and goals. There are eight-character values developed at SDN 008 Samarinda, namely religious, honest, tolerant, disciplined, democratic, national spirit, love for the homeland, and responsibility. Character education can be implemented through the learning process, school rules, and extracurriculars. The method used in implementing character education at SDN 008 Samarinda is by lecturing or giving examples directly because with this method, students can better understand what the teacher is saying.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the role of decision making on the effectiveness of primary schools in Kutai Kartanegara Regency. This research was conducted in 73 elementary schools in Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with multiple regression analysis. The study sample was two hundred eighty two teachers from nine hundred and fifty-five populations. The results of this study explain that decision making plays a good role in the effectiveness of school management. Based on the results of this study, researchers concluded that the better the decision making by school management, the better the effectiveness of school management or it can be said that the effectiveness of good school management is realized with appropriate management decision-making.
