Abstract

Public awareness of a healthy lifestyle makes organic products in great demand, including organic rice. The willingness to pay consumers for a good or service is determined by the desire of each individual or household who tries to maximize is utility with certain income and will determine the amount of demand for goods or services to be consumed. Therefore, it is necessary to do research on the factors that affect the willingness to pay consumers for organic rice. The research was conducted at Iconmall Gresik Transmart. The sample of this research was 40 people with the criteria that they had bought at least once organic rice products and were at least 17 years old. The data used in this research include primary data and secondary data. Data analysis used is contingent valuation analysis. The results showed that organic rice consumers are willing to pay more for all types of organic rice brands sold on Iconmall Gresik Transmart, where the total average for the type of Hotel Beras Kepala Super brand is Rp 33.214,286, Pure Green Pandan Wangi is Rp 41.444,445, Hotel Beras Merah Premium is Rp 36.181,817, dan Tropicana Slim Panino is Rp 39.096,001. DOI : https://doi.org/10.33005/adv.v9i2.2460

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: 1) Describe the characteristics of visitors to the Kampoeng Anggrek Kediri Agro-tourism. 2) Analyzing the influence of Electronic Word Of Mouth (eWOM) on the decision to visit Kampoeng Anggrek Kediri Agro-Tourism. 3) Analyzing the effect of service quality on the decision to visit the Kampoeng Anggrek Kediri Agro-tourism. The research method was done intentionally (purposive) with a purposive sampling of 50 people. Research testing is done by studying the Structural Equation Model (SEM) software based on WarpPLS 5.0 Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study show the characteristics of Kampoeng Anggrek Kediri Agro-tourism visitors based on gender that is equal between men and women, dominant visitors get 21-30 years obtained from Kediri. Education visitors gather high school status as students, and the level of income between Rp. 0-500,000. The first visit was to the Kampoeng Anggrek Kediri Agro-tourism and a personal visit using a type of motorcycle transportation. The word of mouth electronic variable (eWOM) (X1) has a positive effect on the visit decision variable. service quality variables were significantly positive for visit decision variables. DOI : https://doi.org/10.33005/adv.v10i1.2615

Abstract

The agricultural sector is not only influenced by the technology, but also influenced by human resources. Human resources in the agricultural sector has a very important to improve the agricultural sector in Indonesia. The agricultural sector in Indonesia is currently experiencing a phenomenon of the aging farmers that is not in balance with the regeneration of young farmers, So also many scholars agribusiness who work outside the agricultural sector. It is a serious problem for the agricultural sector in Indonesia. The purpose of this Study is to Analyze the Challenges and Prospects of Bachelor of Agribusiness in the future based on the Perceptions of Alumni of the department Agribusiness Four National University in East Java. Determination of the respondents using a Quota sampling technique by using Respondents from the Alumni of the department of Agribusiness Four National University in East Java. Four alumni of the university that made the respondents are Brawijaya University, Jember University, Trunojoyo University and National Development “Veteran” East Java University. Following analyzed data collected using analysis descriptive and presented in the form of a Table. The results of the Analysis showed that the Main Challenges Undergraduate Agribusiness is the Revolution of Industry 4.0 with the actual  score 4,45 as well as the percentage of 89% and the Prospect of Bachelor of Agribusiness has an average score of 3,68 with the percentage of 73,62% to get into the good category. DOI : https://doi.org/10.33005/adv.v10i1.2556

Abstract

This research aims to identify internal and external factors in the development of agricultural education agrotourism in Besur Village and analyze the strategies that have been implemented and formulate alternative strategies for agricultural education agrotourism in Besur Village. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is data taken directly from the research location of the agro-tourism area for agricultural education through direct observation at the site, and interviews. 46 respondents were selected including 10 agro-tourism structuralists and 36 agro-tourism visitors. Secondary data is data obtained through agencies related to this research. The analytical method used is SWOT analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the dominant strength factor was cheap ticket prices. The dominant weakness factor is post-harvest processing that is less than optimal. The dominant opportunity factor is agro-tourism as a place for learning outside the classroom so that it is not saturated in the classroom. The dominant threat factor is the change of seasons which reduces the aesthetic elements of the tourist attraction. The strategy that must be carried out is aggressive (Growth oriented strategy). Strategies that need to be optimized include, maximizing tourism with the concept of rural nature and education, utilizing low ticket prices as alternative tourism, optimizing tourism services with local institutions and communities, utilizing information technology to promote educational tourism as a place to learn outside the classroom. DOI : https://doi.org/10.33005/adv.v10i1.2620

Abstract

Understanding consumer preferences is important in the contect of decision making of key stakeholders, including producers themselves, as well as development agencies that operate in the fruit subsector. This research aims to analyse the attributes of yellow kepok banana that became analyse the attributes most considered by the consumers on the decisions to buy yellow kepok banana at traditional market in Surabaya City. The method of this research is case study. Data were collected by interview the respondents directly at tradisional market with the questionnaires. Descrptive analytic method was applied by implementing purposive sampling to get 100 consumets as respondents in this research. The attributes observed are the color of fruit, taste of fruit, size and flavour of fruit. Respondent characteristics and consumer behaviour are analysed by descriptive. Whereas yellow kepok banana preferences were analysed by using chi square. While most considered attributes shown by the calculation of chi square. Yellow kepok banana attributes that consumers the purchase consider include : bright yellow kepok banana fruit color, the taste of yellow kepok banana is a bit sweet, medium size yellow kepok banana (10-14 cm) and sweet yellow kepok banana flavour. DOI : https://doi.org/10.33005/adv.v10i2.2914
