Abstract

Small islands in Indonesia have prospects for seaweed development. Therefore, it is necessary to calculate how many income and production function of seaweed Gracilaria sp. cultivation in order to know wheter the cultivation is profitable or not and how many profit is obtained by the pond farmers. This research aims to : 1) Determine and analyze the level of farmers’s income in seaweed Gracilaria sp. cultivation; 2) Determine the factors that affect seaweed Gracilaria sp. production; and 3) Determine and analyze how efficient use of planting area, seeds, labor, and harvest time on seaweed Gracilaria sp.  cultivation production. The research was conducted in Tanjung Sari hamlet, Jabon sub-district, Sidoarjo regency, East Java. Data collection methods used are interview methods, questionnaires, observation and documentation. The analysis used in this research is income analysis, Cobb-Douglas analysis and efficiency analysis. The results showed that the income level of pond farmers in the production of seaweed Gracilaria sp. was profitable and feasible to cultivate, partially had a positive effect on seaweed Gracilaria sp.  production and overall the variables had a positive effect on variable Y, namely seaweed Gracilaria sp.  production, and efficiency in seaweed Gracilaria sp. farming had a combination of inputs that were not optimum. DOI : https://doi.org/10.33005/adv.v9i2.2461

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: 1) Describe the characteristics of visitors to the Kampoeng Anggrek Kediri Agro-tourism. 2) Analyzing the influence of Electronic Word Of Mouth (eWOM) on the decision to visit Kampoeng Anggrek Kediri Agro-Tourism. 3) Analyzing the effect of service quality on the decision to visit the Kampoeng Anggrek Kediri Agro-tourism. The research method was done intentionally (purposive) with a purposive sampling of 50 people. Research testing is done by studying the Structural Equation Model (SEM) software based on WarpPLS 5.0 Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study show the characteristics of Kampoeng Anggrek Kediri Agro-tourism visitors based on gender that is equal between men and women, dominant visitors get 21-30 years obtained from Kediri. Education visitors gather high school status as students, and the level of income between Rp. 0-500,000. The first visit was to the Kampoeng Anggrek Kediri Agro-tourism and a personal visit using a type of motorcycle transportation. The word of mouth electronic variable (eWOM) (X1) has a positive effect on the visit decision variable. service quality variables were significantly positive for visit decision variables. DOI : https://doi.org/10.33005/adv.v10i1.2615

Abstract

Oil palm is the flagship commodity in Indonesia, the commodity is the biggest foreign exchange contributor for the non-oil sector. This makes Indonesia the world's leading producer and exporter. However, over time there has been a decline in the number of exports of crude palm oil (CPO) Indonesia which caused the government to issue a mandatory biodiesel 20 (B20) policy. The objectives of the study are: 1) identifying the production, price, and export of crude palm oil (CPO) and Indonesian biodiesel, 2) Analyzing the impact of Biodiesel 20 (B20) policy on biodiesel production in Indonesia, 3) Analyzing the competitiveness of Indonesian crude palm oil products (CPO). The methods used are Mann-Whitney U test, Relative Trade Advantage (RTA), Trade Specialisation Index (TSI), and Export Product Dynamics (EPD). The results showed that: 1) an increase in CPO and Biodiesel production; domestic CPO prices and biodiesel prices; and biodiesel exports. Meanwhile, there is a decline in world CPO prices and Indonesian CPO exports. 2) B20 policy affects to CPO production, biodiesel production and biodiesel export. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the entrepreneurial behavior of semanggi pecel sellers in Semanggi Village, Surabaya City. The subject of this research is clover pecel traders, both street vendors and traders who settled somewhere. Changes in behavior are influenced by one's internal and environmental factors in which a person interacts socially (Dirlanudin, 2010). The sample of this study was 37 respondents. The analytical method used is Spearman Rank correlation analysis with the analysis tool is SPSS. Careful entrepreneurial behavior includes knowledge, attitudes, and skills. Each entrepreneurial behavior was measured using a questionnaire and each behavior was represented by 20 questions. This study concludes that the calculated average of the score of semanggi pecel entrepreneurial behavior is 226.92 which means it is in the high category. High entrepreneurial behavior as many as 31 people with 83.78 percent, very high as many as 5 people with 13.51 percent and as many as one person 2.70 percent. DOI : https://doi.org/10.33005/adv.v10i2.2912
