Abstract

Cattle Breeders Group Kandang Sedyo Makmur in Dukuh Ngemplak, Desa Umbul Martani, Kecamatan Ngemplak Kabupaten Sleman, raising 250 cattle with 10 tons / day feed requirement, and dan Cattle Breeders Group Catur Andini in Dukuh Wonocatur, Desa Banguntapan Kabupaten Bantul, raising 80 cows with 3.2 tons / day feed requirement. Problems that exist in these two groups of cattle ranchers is during the rainy season grass needs can be met and excessive amount of grass supplies, while during the dry season grass supplies are still less consequent needs of the grass can not be fulfilled.Based on the above, it is necessary to engineer the grass chopper machine to optimize the animal feed which during the rainy season is abundant to be cut, processed and stored and can be used for animal feed needs during the dry season. This machine is also able to cut corn stems and stems of sugar cane crops so that it can be used as animal feed, especially to increase the supply of animal feed in the dry season so that the needs of animal feed can be met. Because based on the facts on the ground, cutting corn stalks of corn and sugarcane are quite hard, can not be done manually with a cutting tool like a sickle. The working principle of grass chopper machine is corn stalk, stalk of sugar cane and straw and elephant grass inserted at entrance at tool, then cutting tool rotate and directly cut the stem of plant that has been entered, so happened cutting process, then result of cutting out through the exit of the machine that has been prepared bagor bag so that pieces can go directly into the bag so it is not scattered. This activity can be realized because of obtaining grant for Science and Technology for Society financed by Kemenristek Dikti. Based on the results of grass cutter machine testing, it was able to cut the grass elephant, corn stalks and sugar cane as much as 10 kg / menit or 600 kg / hour with homogeneous pieces and small size, whereas if done manually using human labor with tools cut the sickle, it was only able to cut as much as 1kg / minute with the cutout results are not homogeneous. By making grass chopper machine,sugarcane stalk and corn stalk, it can reduce the need for labor so that operational costs can be reduced and the income of the cattle breeder group can increase.

Abstract

This study purpose to design an environmentally friendly forging machine in the group of "DL" and "PRT" pande besi who are partners in the Village of Palbapang, PandakDistrict, Bantul Regency. So far, the two partners have made agricultural equipment manually by treating raw materials or heated iron forged repeatedly using a hammer according to the desired form of agricultural equipment. For this process, 3 workers are needed, even though the current condition of the two groups of pande besi is the difficulty of finding workers, so that market demand related to agricultural equipment cannot be fulfilled.The research method is carried out after all data and information have been collected by designing an environmentally friendly forging machine with the help of showhare autocad, then looking for materials and tools that will be used to make the design of the forging machine, and making environmentally friendly forging machinesaccording to the specifications obtained . Before being submitted to partners, testing of the number of punches per minute, as well as the noise level. The results that have been achieved in this study are the creation of an environmentally friendly forging machine design with the capacity to forge machetes roughly 5 pieces / hour, as well as a one-time blow to the depressed workpiece depth of 2 to 3 mm with the number of blows produced 200 to 250 punch a minute, with the noisecaused to the forging machine at 60 dBA. From these results there was a 45% reduction in the noise figure from the previous one using a 110.17dBA manual tool to 60 dBA.The capacity of agricultural equipment production in the two partners of the iron court group increased to 2 to 3 times when compared to using human labor, and in the end could improve the welfare of the partner iron-iron group and the iron-iron society in general.

Abstract

The available of iron sands in west sumatera only exploit in raw condition (raw material) so that the value of sell is low. One of solution to make higher value of sell is knowing it’s characteristic. Iron sands characteristic can be known based on crystal structure, the size of crystal and magnetite structure from iron sands around Kecamatan Lembah Jaya, Kecamatan Gunung Talang and Kecamatan Danau Kembar, Kabupaten Solok, Provinsi Sumatera Barat as the resut of milling time variation. This research aim are to investigate the influence of milling time to magnetite crystal and  investigate the influence of milling time to size of magnetite crystal using X-Ray Diffraction. This is experiment research that have been done in Material Laboratory of Physics Departement. In this research, there is a variation of time milling. X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) is used in identification of structure dan size of crystal. X-Ray Flouresence (XRF) is used in gather the data of magnetite level in iron sands before and after milling. The result of this research shows that increasing time milling caused the change of fasa from hematite to magnetite. Increasing time milling variation cause the change of magnetite structure from rhombohedral to cubic structure. Increasing the time milling cause size of magnetite crystal increase up to  certain time milling and then decrease, then some keep increase again. Such as a magnetite crystal before milling, 88,01 nm and after milling in 25 hours it becomes 71,10 nm, milling in 30 hours it becomes 78,63 nm. In 35 and 40 hours of milling, it decreases to 55,42 and 49,86 nm. In 45 hurs milling, it increases to 66,25. Abstract

One of methods of treating waste in the most efective and chepest way is by biological method because it utilize mícrobes that are abundant in natural etwironment. Microbe actívities can be utilízed to produce a system that can accomplish recycling process, so they can control the quality of waste. This research is aimed to carry out test by utilizing microbes Chlorella sp. that is belonged to phytoplanktons that are used as innoculum for treating waste miIk industry. The research was conducted at the Environmental Technical Laborotory of ISTA Yogtøkortarta for 3 months, wíth activities starting from Chlorella sp. culturing, preliminary research for determining the concentration of optimal inocallum growth to the main research, the application of Chlorella sp. for milk waste treatment. From the result of research, it was evident that milkwaste milk Índustry exerted positive influence on the growth of Chlorella sp. that could reached optimal rate. The optimal growth rate, in turn, could be utilized to improve milkwaste quality, especially to reduce BOD, soluble CO, and to íncrease DO as well as to neutralize pH. Other efect of optimal Chlorellasp. growth was that protozoa populatíon growth that sustain and acceleratethe treatment of this milkwaste.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) menerapkan nilai-nilai keislaman dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, khususnya pada mahasiswa semester 6 kelas E di Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap beberapa mahasiswa yang dipilih secara purposive. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa PAI berupaya menerapkan nilai-nilai keislaman seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, kedisiplinan, serta menjaga ibadah harian, terutama di lingkungan kost dan pergaulan sehari-hari. Meskipun dihadapkan pada berbagai tantangan, seperti lingkungan yang kurang mendukung dan jadwal akademik yang padat, mahasiswa tetap menunjukkan komitmen untuk menjalankan nilai-nilai tersebut. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya dukungan dari lingkungan sekitar dan pembinaan berkelanjutan agar implementasi nilai keislaman dapat lebih optimal.

Abstract

Mother tongue is the first language that individuals acquire naturally through interactions in the family and community environment. In the world of elementary education, this language has an important role as the main means of supporting cognitive, social, emotional development, and strengthening children's cultural values. This study aims to examine the contribution of mother tongue in improving students' understanding of subject matter, as well as its impact on language skills and interaction with Indonesian. With a literature study approach, this study examines various scientific references that discuss the role of mother tongue in elementary school environments. The results of the study indicate that the use of mother tongue in the learning process can improve students' understanding, create a more conducive learning atmosphere, and provide a strong foundation in the multilingual learning process. In addition, good mastery of the mother tongue also strengthens students' metalinguistic awareness which is very important in acquiring a second language. However, if its use is not balanced with the right strategy, the dominance of the mother tongue can lead to code mixing which has an impact on limited mastery of the Indonesian language. Therefore, strategic integration of the mother tongue in learning at the elementary school level is needed, in order to support academic achievement while preserving local cultural heritage. This study recommends the importance of educational policies that support the balanced use of mother tongues as part of a contextual and inclusive teaching approach.

Abstract

The issue of waste management in the Special Region of Yogyakarta has become increasingly complex following the closure of the Piyungan Final Disposal Site (TPA) in early 2024. One of the impacts is the increased burden of waste management at the community level. The Margo Rukun Association in Bantul is a self-reliant community that actively manages waste independently. The existing issues include limited resources and the lack of appropriate technology (TTG) in waste management. This community service activity aims to implement TTG to enhance the effectiveness of waste processing production processes, such as organic waste shredders, plastic press machines, and digital-based production management systems. The implementation methods include socialization, TTG application, and TTG usage training. The expected outcomes include significant improvements in waste management, particularly for recyclable waste. This initiative can positively impact community self-reliance and promote circular economy practices at the local level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi siswa kelas XII MAS Alwashliyah Tanjung Pasir dalam menyikapi perkembangan teknologi dengan tetap menjaga akhlak Islami. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap beberapa siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi di kalangan siswa cukup beragam. Misalnya, Edy lebih memfokuskan penggunaan teknologi untuk mendukung pembelajaran, sedangkan Tama dan Zulham lebih banyak menggunakannya untuk bermain game. Irma dan Yuli lebih sering membuka media sosial, khususnya TikTok dan platform lain untuk berkomunikasi. Meskipun demikian, seluruh siswa juga memanfaatkan teknologi sebagai media untuk menunjang proses belajar, seperti mencari materi tambahan, menonton video pembelajaran, dan berinteraksi dengan guru melalui platform digital. Namun, di sisi lain muncul tantangan berupa kecenderungan menghabiskan waktu yang berlebihan untuk hiburan digital, sehingga diperlukan kontrol diri yang kuat agar tidak mengganggu kewajiban belajar maupun ibadah. Kesimpulannya, strategi siswa dalam memanfaatkan teknologi masih bersifat campuran antara kebutuhan belajar dan hiburan, sehingga peran guru, orang tua, dan sekolah sangat penting untuk membimbing mereka agar bijak dalam menggunakan teknologi tanpa mengabaikan nilai-nilai akhlak Islami.
