Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of entrepreneurship within vocational technology education in Indonesia, focusing on current conditions, challenges, opportunities, effective integration models, and their impacts on graduates. The research employs a mixed-method approach, combining literature review, observation, and in-depth interviews with relevant stakeholders. The findings reveal that while most vocational technology institutions have incorporated entrepreneurship, the approaches remain predominantly theoretical and lack comprehensive integration. Key challenges include curriculum design, resource limitations, and stakeholder mindsets. On the other hand, opportunities arise from government policy support, industry collaboration, and digital technology-driven learning innovations. An effective entrepreneurship integration model requires a holistic curriculum, innovative teaching methods, strategic collaboration, resource management, and mindset transformation. Effective entrepreneurship integration positively impacts technical and entrepreneurial competencies, entrepreneurial motivation, adaptability, economic contributions, and graduates' career success.Keywords: entrepreneurship integration, vocational technology education, challenges, opportunities, integration model, graduate impact

Abstract

The majority of sectors are currently influenced by digital technology, including the education sector. Through the development of digital technology, a new learning model can be designed, namely hybrid learning. Hybrid learning can help the learning process, such as providing variations in learning, minimizing space and time limitations, and improving digital skills. Hybrid learning is a solution in higher education that has limited learning space but has facilities for implementing digital technology in hybrid learning. The research subjects were 36 students of educational informatics engineering department. The research method used was research and development, with ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluation). At the implementation stage, an effectiveness test was carried out to see the extent to which the application of digital technology in hybrid learning had an effect on the learning process. The research’s results were the implementation of digital hybrid learning technology which consists of combination face-to-face classes with e-learning moodle. Another result from this research was the value of effectiveness was obtained, which is 86.44% conducted from 36 subjects and was categorized as very effective for implementation in higher educational level.

Abstract

The evolution of digital technology has prompted a significant transformation in higher education, particularly within the Informatics Engineering curriculum. In this landscape, blended learning has surfaced as a vital strategic method, combining traditional face-to-face teaching with online learning to boost flexibility, effectiveness, and student engagement. This research utilizes a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and bibliometric analysis to map the trends and research focus of blended learning. Data was gathered from Google Scholar for publications from 2021 onward, using specific keywords. An initial pool of 1,850 articles was refined through a PRISMA-based screening process, resulting in 33 highly relevant articles for detailed analysis. The findings show that publication activity was highest in 2021, with major contributions from the United Kingdom, Indonesia, and the United States. Key themes identified in the literature include the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS), the flipped classroom model, and project-based learning. The evidence consistently suggests that blended learning improves educational outcomes, increases student motivation, and fosters essential 21st-century skills. However, challenges such as insufficient infrastructure and the need for enhanced educator competency remain. This paper recommends strengthening institutional policies and providing faculty training to support the successful and sustainable implementation of blended learning, especially in technology and vocational education.

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) merupakan salah satu kewajiban Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi dan wajib dilaksanakan oleh dosen. Kegiatan PKM yang dilaksanakan bertemakan pengenalan dan pembelajaran dasar-dasar komputer (hardware, software dan brainware) kepada Siswa SD IT Buah Hati. Mitra yang bekerjasama dalam kegiatan PKM ini adalah SD IT Buah Hati Kota Padang. Tujuan dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan kepada siswa  dasar-dasar pembelajaran komputer (hardware, software dan brainware). Pengabdian ini menggunakan presentasi serta simulasi pengenalan dan pembelajaran dasar-dasar komputer (hardware, software dan brainware). Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode analisis, pendidikan, dan edukasi yang dilaksanakan tim pelaksana pengabdian. Kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa melalui kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa dan membangkitkan motivasi siswa dalam belajar, menghasilkan sikap positif, serta komitmen belajar yang kuat terhadap pembelajaran dan sikap yang baik terhadap guru. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan tambahan ilmu kepada siswa dan membangkitkan motivasi belajar mereka.
