Abstract

Pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) memiliki berbagai kendala seperti terbatasnya pengetahuan guru terhadap variasi kegiatan tindak lanjut setelah kegiatan 15 menit membaca. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang pelaksanaan GLS. Lebih khusus, penelitian ini bermaksud mengeksplorasii kegiatan GLS pada tahap pengembangan, menganalisis jenis respon siswa terhadap buku bacaan dan penilaian guru terhadap respon tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dan interview. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa kegiatan GLS telah dilaksanakan di sekolah ini jauh sebelum dicanangkannya GLS oleh pemerintah. Selanjutnya, kegiatan literasi diwujudkan dalam sesi membaca yang secara resmi dijadwalkan dalam jadwal pelajaran. Respon terhadap buku yang dibaca dilakukan siswa dalam berbagai bentuk. Siswa diwajibkan membuat suatu proyek tertulis sebagai respon terhadap buku yang dibacanya. Selain itu, respon juga dapat berbentuk lisan seperti berbagi isi buku. Respon yang dibuat siswa dinilai oleh guru sebagai bagian dari mata pelajaran bahasa (Bahasa Indonesia atau Bahasa Inggris). Untuk meningkatkan kesuksesan pelaksanaan kegiatan GLS, diperlukan pengadaan buku bacaan untuk tingkat remaja karena buku merupakan faktor utama pendukung kegiatan GLS. Oleh karena itu, bukan saja jumlah buku yang harus banyak, namun juga genre yang beragam sangat diperlukan agar siswa mendapat berbagai pengalaman membaca. Selain itu, variasi kegiatan literasi perlu ditambahkan seperti penggunaan multimodal reading responses dan disesuaikan dengan perkembangan teknologi saat ini.  Selanjutnya, melihat dari kondisi sekolah yang sangat mendukung, kiranya kegiatan GLS dapat diterapkan di semua mata pelajaran sehingga GLS di sekolah ini  dapat mencapai tahap Pembelajaran.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor kurang maksimalnya proses pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi menulis laporan adalah pembelajaran yang masih dilakukan dengan metode eskpositori. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis laporan yaitu dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek.  Karakteristik model pembelajaran berbasis proyek menggunakan sintak yang runtut dan terstruktur. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis kefektifan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap motivasi belajar dan kemampuan menulis laporan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Sukorejo Kabupaten Kendal. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Quasi Experimental Design bentuk two group posttest-only design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IV Gugus Pangeran Antasari Kecamatan Sukorejo sedangkan sampel yang dipilih secara acak dengan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Siswa kelas IV B SDN 2 Sukorejo, sedangkan siswa kelas IV A SDN 2 Sukorejo sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi angket, observasi, dan tes. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji one sample t-test  dan Independent samples t-test menggunakan SPSS versi 23. Pengujian menggunakan one sample t-test diperoleh   (12,880 2,059) sehingga dapat disimpulkan rata-rata kemampuan menulis laporan siswa kelas IV pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek di atas KKM. Pengujian  menggunakan independent samples t-test untuk variabel motivasi belajar diperoleh   ((2,293 2,059) sehingga dapat disimpulkan motivasi belajar siswa yang diajar dengan PjBL lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa kelas ekspositori. Pengujian menggunakan independent samples t-test variabel kemampuan menulis laporan diperoleh   (2,878 2,059) sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan menulis laporan siswa yang diajar dengan PjBL lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa kelas ekspositori. Jadi, model pembelajaran berbasis proyek efektif terhadap  motivasi belajar dan kemampuan menulis laporan siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Sukorejo Kabupaten Kendal.This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the project-based learning model on learning motivation and the ability to write Indonesian language learning reports for fourth-grade students of SDN 2 Sukorejo, Kendal Regency. It was an experimental study with a quasi-experimental design, taking a two-group post-test-only design. The population was fourth-grade students of the Prince Antasari Group, Sukorejo Sub-district. They were randomly selected using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Students in Class IV B were in the experimental group, while those in Class IV A became the control group. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, observations, and tests. Compiled data were analyzed using a one-sample t-test and independent samples t-test using SPSS v23.One sample t-test resulted in tcount ttable (12,880 2,059). This means that fourth-grade students' average report writing ability using the project-based learning model is above the Minimum Completeness Criteria (MMC). Meanwhile, the independent samples t-test for learning motivation variable obtained tcount ttable ((2,293 2,059). It can be concluded that students' learning motivation taught using project-based learning is higher than those in the expository class. In addition, the independent sample t-test for report writing ability variable resulted in tcount ttable (2.878 2.059). This means that students' report writing ability using project-based learning is higher than the ability possessed by those in the expository class. Based on the results, the project-based learning model effectively improves learning motivation and report writing abilities of fourth-grade students at SDN 2 Sukorejo, Kendal Regency.

Abstract

In organizing personnel services at the Office of the Ngada Regency Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM), the main obstacle faced is the lack of application of work discipline and supervision within the Ngada Regency BKPSDM Office. The objectives of this writing include: to determine how much influence work discipline has on the performance of employees of the Ngada Regency BKPSDM office, to determine how much influence supervision has on the performance of employees of the Ngada Regency BKPSDM office, and to determine how much influence work discipline and supervision have on the performance of employees of the Ngada Regency BKPSDM office. This research was conducted at the Office of the Ngada Regency Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM), with a population of 36 people using the census method, namely all the population was sampled. The independent variables in this study are work discipline and supervision while the dependent variable is employee performance. Measurement of variables in this study using a Likert scale and SKP BKPSDM Kab. Ngada employees. Data processing with a statistical approach of multiple regression analysis using SPSS 22. From the standard estimated for the variables of Work Discipline (X1), Supervision (X2), Employee Performance (Y), the structural equation can be made as follows Y = 368.232 + 0.544 + 2.224. the results of data analysis show that work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance within the BKPSDM of Ngada Regency with a coefficient of determination of 31.2%, Supervision has an effect of 37.1% on performance, and Work discipline and Supervision have an effect of 39% on performance and the rest is influenced by other factors not examined.

Abstract

Scientific literacy is essential for students, yet many struggle with low levels of these skills, highlighting the need for quality learning. This research aims to evaluate learning quality and analyze scientific literacy in relation to student curiosity within classes using the STAD model supported by animated videos. Employing a mixed-methods sequential exploratory design, the study involved planning, implementation, and assessment phases. Participants included students from the VA class as the experimental group and the VB class as the control group at MI Luqman Al Hakim Slawi. Instruments comprised scientific literacy test questions, curiosity questionnaires, and learning tools. Quantitative data were gathered through literacy tests, while qualitative data were collected via interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis included assessing the validity and practicality of learning tools, implementation, and assessment results, alongside normality and homogeneity tests. The study found that the average validity of learning tools was 77%, practicality was 92%, and implementation reached 92.17%. Hypothesis testing revealed that students in the experimental group demonstrated more than 75% mastery in scientific literacy and exceeded the KKM average. Additionally, their average literacy abilities and improvements surpassed those of the control group. Furthermore, student curiosity positively influenced their scientific literacy. Qualitatively, students with high curiosity met all literacy indicators, while those with low curiosity failed to meet any. Overall, learning via the STAD model with animated videos significantly enhances students' scientific literacy skills.

Abstract

Education is the most important thing and plays a role in advancing the fate of a nation. Education is also the learning of knowledge, skills and habits from a group of individuals starting from generation to generation. The point is that education consists of a series of activities from one individual to another individual or in groups with guidance so that children grow and develop optimally independently and responsibly. This research aims to improve creative thinking skills, namely the discovery learning model, by implementing an experimental method. The results of the study show that 1) there is a difference in the learning outcomes of science students who use the Discovery Learning model higher than those who learn using the conventional model. 2) There is an interaction between the discovery learning model and the conventional learning model reviewed from critical thinking on students' science learning outcomes. 3) There is a difference in the learning outcomes of science students who have high critical thinking skills who learn using the discovery learning model are higher than students who study with the conventional learning model. 4) There is a difference in the learning outcomes of science students who have low critical thinking who learn using the discovery learning model higher than students who study with the conventional learning model.

Abstract

Extracurricular activities are educational activities that take place outside of traditional classroom settings. These activities take place inside and/or outside of the school environment in order to broaden knowledge, improve skills, and internalize religious values or laws, as well as local, national, and global social norms. This is a qualitative study, which stresses the meaning and process of an activity rather than the outcome of an activity. By referring to the data taken from teacher and students’ involvement in the extracuricular activities and based on the results of observations and interviews, this study reveals  that the majority of students are engaged in the extracuricular activities and benefit greatly from them. Aside from that, the activity facilitated teachers in carrying out coaching, direction, care, and supervision in order to achieve the desired results. Students' language intelligence in learning English at SMP Plus Al Munawaroh Tempurejo Jember was formed by an acivity to communicate with others, both with their peers and with their teachers, using English even though it was often mixed up with their native language. Students were also engaged to perform their learning outcomes in many stages of learning.
