Abstract

The presence of Begalan in wedding traditions is heavily reliant on the communication style of Begalan performers in introducing and preserving Banyumasan culture and language. The purpose of this research was to analyse and comprehend the motivations and communication styles of Begalan performers in the wedding tradition in the Panginyongan area of Banyumas. The qualitative descriptive research method is used in this study. Data collection entails observing, interviewing Begalan performers, and researching relevant literature. According to the findings of this study, 1) the motives of the Begalan performers in carrying out the wedding tradition in the Panginyongan area are ritual, entertainment, and professional motives; and 2) the communication style of the Begalan performers in the wedding tradition in the Panginyongan area of Banyumas tends to use a low context communication style. Another finding in this study is that there are obstacles experienced by Begalan performers, including diverse audiences with different cultures, lack of attention and appreciation from the audience, and lack of availability of the tools used in carrying out the Begalan procession. To overcome these obstacles, Begalan performers innovate using Indonesian and Banyumasan languages, adding to the audience's appeal by making jokes and preparing to get Begalan tools.

Abstract

Social media has become an inseparable part of communication activities in the digital era. In everyday life, social media has become a tool for human communication and has become a new lifestyle. Not only for obtaining information, social media has now become a platform for interacting, expressing yourself and even sharing it to show to the public. Live streaming is a social media application that broadcasts individual activities online. Mango Live is a live streaming application originating from India, this application can be downloaded on Google Play or the Apple Store. According to data on Google Play and Apple Store, Mango Live is a streaming service intended for users with an age limit of 17 years and over, is the best global live broadcast platform that focuses on entertainment, lifestyle and broadcasting from talented hosts. The aim of this research is to find the motives and interactions used in the phenomenon of using the Mango Live live streaming application among students. This research uses qualitative methods with Alfred Schutz's phenomenological theory. Alfred Schutz's phenomenological theory looks for the causes and goals of students in using the Mango Live application. From the results of this research, there are entertainment motives to fill free time, economic motives to earn income, motives to seek experience for the achievement process, and motives to express oneself to build self-confidence. Researchers revealed that the interactions used in using the Mango Live application are in the comments feature, follow feature, communication feature and virtual gift feature.

Abstract

The interest of the Indonesian people to save gold digitally is getting higher, amid the rise of illegal digital financial institutions. PT PG Berjangka sells Digital Gold Savings products through the Pluang, while PT Indogold Solusi Gadai through the Indogold. PT PG Futures has been registered with CoFTRA and the Futures Clearing House, but PT Indogold Solusi Gadai has not been registered with CoFTRA and also with the Futures Clearing House, even its registered status with the OJK is no longer valid and it is recommended to apply for a permit to the OJK under another work unit. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting research on legal protection in digital gold savings transactions. This study uses an empirical juridical approach. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the laws and regulations in Indonesia had preventively provided legal protection in Pluang and Indogold digital gold saving transactions. However, Indogold consumers do not get the protection as referred to in the CoFTRA Regulation concerning Technical Provisions for the Implementation of the Digital Gold Physical Market on the Futures Exchange.

Abstract

Pelatihan ini membahas media digital di bidang pariwisata yang mengangkat unsur-unsur lingkungan sebagai daya tariknya. Konsep back to nature memiliki potensi yang sangat besar untuk mendatangkan wisatawan mancanegara sebagai penghasil devisa bagi negara. Desa Wisata Cikakak juga dikembangkan untuk menarik wisatawan nasional untuk meningkatkan pendapatan daerah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami penggunaan media digital dalam komunikasi pemasaran di Desa Wisata Cikakak serta implikasinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi pemasaran tentang Desa Wisata Cikakak menarik dan mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketertarikan orang untuk datang. Melalui media digital diunggah berbagai informasi untuk memasarkan Desa Wisata Cikakak yang layak dikunjungi. Penggunaan beragam platform digital yaitu facebook, Instagram dan Youtube untuk memasarkannya dinilai efektif karena mampu menyebarkan konten yang cukup memberikan gambaran tentang Desa Wisata Cikakak, dan memiliki kemasan konten yang menarik karena terdiri dari beragam format baik teks, foto maupun video. Semakin banyak orang yang berkunjung baik internasional, nasional dan lokal, dan berkembangnya bentuk-bentuk wisata yang ditawarkan merupakan salah satu bukti efektivitas komunikasi pemasaran yang diperoleh. Keberhasilan komunikasi pemasaran yang dilakukan tidak saja memberi banyak peluang bagi pengembangan Desa Wisata Cikakak dan masyarakat sekitarnya akan tetapi juga menghadirkan tantangan terkait keberadaan dan dampaknya pada masyarakat maupun keberlangsungannya. Terdapat tantangan terkait dengan kebersihan dan keberlanjutan lingkungan, keterbatasan guide untuk memandu wisatawan asing, serta kesadaran masyarakat menghindari konflik terkait dengan isu ekonomi dan perbedaan pandangan dalam memahami keberadaan Desa Wisata Cikakak serta implikasinya pada masyarakat dan lingkungannya.
