Abstract

This research aims to determine the application of Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory in Islamic education learning at Tamanan Elementary School Bantul to help teachers understand the desires of their students in learning. The method used is field research, then it is integrated with various related sources. The results of this study are: a) Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory b) Application of Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs (Humanistic) Theory in Islamic Education learning at Tamanan Elementary School. The conclusion of Maslow's theory of needs aims to make individuals as good human being as possible. This will be very useful in the application of learning so that students can understand themselves and their environment. The students who have reached this level will do various things in order to maximize their potential so that learning can be effective.

Abstract

Gender injustice and inequality often arise in patriarchal family relationships that dichotomize the roles of men (husbands) and women (wives) within the household. This study aims to analyze Aminah Wadud's perspective on the imbalance of power relations in the household based on her interpretation of the Quran. This research uses the library research method, focusing on various relevant sources and references about Aminah Wadud's views on gender studies in the Quran and their application in the context of household relationships. The theoretical framework underlying this research is Islamic feminism, which is used to understand how Quranic interpretation can shape or challenge patriarchal structures within the family. The results show that Aminah Wadud emphasizes the importance of an egalitarian and inclusive interpretation, highlighting justice and gender equality within the household. Wadud's views provide new insights into the role of the Quran in forming fairer and more equal gender relations in society, offering a framework to reassess traditional interpretations that are often gender-biased. This study also reveals that more progressive and contextual interpretations of sacred texts can contribute to forming more just and equal social norms. The findings of this research are expected to serve as an important reference for academics and practitioners in developing strategies to reduce gender inequality in the context of both household and broader society.   Keyword: Power Imbalance; Gender Study; Aminah Wadud.   Ketidakadilan dan ketidaksetaraan gender sering muncul dalam pola relasi keluarga patriarkis yang mendikotomikan peran antara laki-laki (suami) dan perempuan (istri) dalam rumah tangga. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pandangan Aminah Wadud terhadap ketimpangan relasi kuasa dalam rumah tangga berdasarkan penafsirannya terhadap Alquran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode library research dengan fokus pada penelusuran berbagai sumber dan referensi yang relevan tentang pandangan Aminah Wadud terkait kajian gender dalam Alquran dan aplikasinya dalam konteks relasi rumah tangga. Teori yang mendasari penelitian ini adalah teori feminisme Islam, yang digunakan untuk memahami bagaimana interpretasi Alquran dapat membentuk atau menantang struktur patriarki dalam keluarga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Aminah Wadud menekankan pentingnya tafsir yang egaliter dan inklusif, yang menekankan keadilan dan kesetaraan gender dalam rumah tangga. Pandangan Wadud memberikan wawasan baru mengenai peran Alquran dalam membentuk relasi gender yang lebih adil dan setara dalam masyarakat, sekaligus menawarkan kerangka kerja untuk mengkaji ulang interpretasi tradisional yang sering kali bias gender. Studi ini juga mengungkapkan bahwa penafsiran yang lebih progresif dan kontekstual terhadap teks-teks suci dapat berkontribusi pada pembentukan norma-norma sosial yang lebih adil dan setara. Temuan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi penting bagi akademisi dan praktisi dalam mengembangkan strategi untuk mengurangi ketimpangan gender dalam konteks rumah tangga dan masyarakat luas. Abstract

Islamic Religious Education plays a central role in shaping individuals' character and morality. In this context, teachers not only act as educators but also as role models who provide real-life examples for students. This article explores the urgency of being a role model in Islamic religious education, focusing on the role of teachers as role models. Through a qualitative approach, this research examines the concept and implications of being a role model in the context of Islamic religious education. In this context, the teacher's role extends beyond imparting religious knowledge to demonstrating consistent religious practices aligned with Islamic values. Teachers' role modeling can influence students' character formation, helping them understand and apply Islamic teachings in their daily lives. The article also discusses the challenges and strategies in being an effective role model, as well as its practical implications in the context of Islamic religious education in the modern era. By strengthening the teacher's role as a good role model, Islamic religious education can significantly contribute to shaping a generation with high morality and noble character.

Abstract

This discussion aims to examine more deeply about religious tolerance from the perspective of minority religions, especially Buddha at the Dhammadipa Arama Monastery, Malang. This is intended to get a complete picture of tolerance. Because most of those who experience intolerance are minorities, so it would be interesting if his perspective on religious tolerance was reviewed. Field research was selected based on various considerations and suggestions from various parties. Data collection was carried out on the spot. This research is included in the qualitative category, or it can be said that this research is comprehensive to understand the environment (such as behavior and phenomena). The results of the study show that even for minorities (especially at the Dhammadipa Arama Monastery), religious harmony is also important to strive for. And one of the practical solutions that can be applied is to improve communication between religions. Because often conflicts occur because of a lack of understanding of each other. then to address various issues one should look at it from several points of view so that one does not arbitrarily conclude with one's own rationality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi solusi dan pendekatan baru menuju pembelajaran yang lebih efektif di madrasah. Tinjauan pustaka yang mendalam dilakukan untuk menganalisis tren dan konsep-konsep kunci dalam pembelajaran efektif di konteks madrasah. Analisis literatur mengidentifikasi tantangan-tantangan utama yang dihadapi oleh madrasah, termasuk jumlah mata pelajaran yang berlebihan, kurangnya pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kreatif, dan inovatif, serta kurangnya penguasaan teknologi informasi. Berdasarkan analisis ini, penelitian mengusulkan sejumlah solusi dan pendekatan baru. Evaluasi terhadap solusi-solusi yang diusulkan juga dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi potensi keberhasilan implementasinya. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan sumbangan penting bagi pengembangan pembelajaran yang lebih efektif di madrasah.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the urgency and strategies for building a moderate and inclusive religious culture in schools. Using a literature research method, the data collection technique involves identifying, collecting, classifying, and validating relevant literature, while the data analysis technique includes content analysis, source criticism, synthesis of findings, and drawing conclusions to understand the urgency of building a moderate and inclusive religious culture in school. This study identifies the challenges of radicalism and intolerance as the main reasons for the importance of this initiative. The results show that building a moderate and inclusive religious culture in schools is highly urgent in addressing these challenges. Schools that have successfully implemented such programs have shown improvements in interfaith harmony, appreciation of diversity, and the development of more tolerant student characters. The recommendations include enhancing teacher training, developing a more inclusive curriculum, and strengthening collaboration between schools, parents, and the community. This study is expected to serve as a reference for policymakers and education practitioners in developing educational programs that support moderation and inclusiveness in the school environment. In conclusion, building a moderate and inclusive religious culture in schools not only helps prevent radicalism and intolerance but also promotes a more harmonious educational environment and supports the growth of more open and tolerant student characters.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi dan mengkritisi pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka dari perspektif guru, siswa, dan pengelola pendidikan. Meskipun Kurikulum Merdeka diharapkan dapat memberikan kebebasan dalam pembelajaran, implementasinya yang terlalu mendadak menyebabkan berbagai kendala. Guru-guru tidak siap, pelaksanaan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) tidak maksimal, dan pembimbing P5 seringkali tidak memahami tugasnya, sehingga efektivitas pelaksanaannya masih rendah. Selain itu, kesalahpahaman terhadap konsep P5 telah menyebabkan beban ekonomi tambahan bagi siswa, yang bertentangan dengan tujuan inklusivitas kurikulum. Di sisi lain, beban administrasi yang berat juga menjadi tantangan bagi guru penggerak, menghambat untuk fokus pada pengembangan pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan evaluasi yang mendalam dan perbaikan dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka agar tujuan pendidikan yang lebih baik dapat tercapai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji konsep mubadalah dalam fiqh sebagai upaya menciptakan hukum Islam yang fleksibel dan inklusif bagi penyandang disabilitas. Masalah utama yang diangkat adalah keterbatasan interpretasi tradisional fiqh yang sering mengabaikan pengalaman dan kebutuhan penyandang disabilitas, sehingga menghambat aksesibilitas dan keadilan dalam praktik keagamaan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengidentifikasi potensi penerapan mubadalah sebagai prinsip kesetaraan dan kemudahan dalam mengakomodasi kondisi difabel dalam ibadah dan kehidupan bermuamalah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka (library research), dengan menganalisis literatur keagamaan, artikel jurnal, buku, dan dokumen terkait fleksibilitas hukum Islam serta keadilan sosial bagi penyandang disabilitas. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif menggunakan teknik koding dan kategorisasi untuk menyoroti tema utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan prinsip mubadalah dapat memberikan keringanan dan penyesuaian hukum yang lebih relevan bagi difabel. Reinterpretasi teks-teks keagamaan melalui lensa inklusivitas tidak hanya meningkatkan aksesibilitas dalam ibadah, tetapi juga menghapus stigma dan diskriminasi, sehingga menciptakan lingkungan keagamaan yang lebih adil dan manusiawi.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan fondasi utama dalam membentuk individu dan masyarakat yang berkualitas. Namun, dalam menghadapi perubahan sosial dan budaya yang dinamis, pendidikan harus terus berinovasi agar tetap relevan dan efektif. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi perspektif baru dalam pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka yang komprehensif. Data dan informasi diperoleh dari berbagai sumber teoritis, jurnal ilmiah, buku referensi, dan laporan penelitian terkait. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan berbasis landasan sosiologis dan kultural dapat meningkatkan relevansi, kebermaknaan, dan efektivitas pendidikan dalam mempersiapkan siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan kompleks dalam masyarakat global saat ini. Dengan demikian, artikel ini memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang bagaimana pendekatan berbasis landasan sosiologis dan kultural dapat menjadi inovasi edukatif yang penting dalam mengubah landscape pendidikan untuk masa depan yang lebih baik.
