Abstract

Abstrak: Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Kondisi Luar Biasa adalah kondisi pandemi Covid-19 yang menimbulkan rasa cemas dan khawatir yang dapat memengaruhi kesehatan masyarakat, kemudian menyebabkan penurunan pendapatan, peningkatan pengeluaran, serta persoalan pembelajaran daring. Pandemi Covid-19 tidak hanya menimbulkan persoalan pada sektor kesehatan saja, namun juga berpengaruh pada sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat serta pendidikan sehingga persoalan-persoalan ini dapat berdampak dan memengaruhi kesejahteraan masyarakat, khususnya di Kelurahan Baqa. Program kerja berbasis online bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat yang terdampak akibat pandemi Covid-19. Pendekatan penyelesaian masalah yang digunakan adalah (1) pertemuan perwakilan antara kelurahan dengan mahasiswa, (2) diskusi dengan beberapa instansi di Kelurahan Baqa (3) komunikasi online, dan (4) publikasi program kerja melalui media sosial. Langkah penyelesaian masalah yang dilakukan meliputi kegiatan Exploring Baqa, Edukasi Kesehatan Mental, Pendampingan Belajar Online, Penyuluhan Kesehatan, Paid Promote, dan Web-Seminar Online. Hasil pelaksanaan program kerja melalui media sosial memberikan manfaat dan berdampak positif terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat Kelurahan Baqa yang ditunjukkan keterlibatan langsung warga dalam program kerja berbasis online ini  Abstract:  The issues raised in the Extraordinary Community Service Program are the Covid-19 pandemic conditions that cause anxiety and worry that can affect public health, then lead to a decrease in income, an increase in spending, as well as online learning problems. The Covid-19 pandemic does not only cause problems in the health sector, but also affects the social and economic conditions of the community and education so that these problems can have an impact and affect the welfare of the community, especially in Baqa Village. The online-based work program aims to improve the welfare of the people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The problem-solving approach used was (1) a representative meeting between the kelurahan and students, (2) discussions with several agencies in Baqa Village, (3) online communication, and (4) publication of work programs through social media. The problem-solving steps taken include Exploring Baqa activities, Mental Health Education, Online Learning Assistance, Health Counseling, Paid Promote, and Web-Seminar Online. The results of implementing work programs through social media provide benefits and have a positive impact on the welfare of the Baqa Village community.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the factors influencing community participation in the election of the Village Head in Lempake in 2021 in the Biatan Subdistrict, Berau Regency. The study was conducted in the Biatan Lempake Village in the Biatan Subdistrict, Berau Regency. The research design used was qualitative descriptive. The research involved several stages, including field research through observation, interviews, and documentation as a supporting element for the study. The qualitative descriptive analysis involved examining the data obtained based on real-life situations and connecting them with theories that support the discussion. This approach allowed for an exploration of the cause-and-effect relationships influencing political participation in the village. The descriptive analysis included data collection, data presentation, data analysis, and, ultimately, drawing conclusions. The indicators in this study were categorized as follows: Due to Stimulus, Due to Individual Characteristics, Due to Social Characteristics, and Due to Situational and Environmental Factors. The research findings demonstrated that stimuli, individual characteristics, social characteristics, and situational/environmental factors influenced community participation in the village head election held in Lempake Village, Biatan Subdistrict, Berau Regency.

Abstract

This research discusses the phenomenon of cyberpolitics as a digital democratic space with a focus on political campaigns through Instagram in the 2024 Makassar Pilwalkot. Social media, especially Instagram, is used intensely by candidate pairs to build a political image and convey work programs visually to the public. On the other hand, millennials, as the dominant social media users, utilise the platform to access political information, interact directly with candidates, and determine voting preferences. Through a literature study approach and content analysis, this research shows that digital space has great potential in expanding horizontal political participation. However, the effectiveness of cyberspace as a democratic arena cannot be separated from challenges such as symbolic participation, algorithm dominance, and digital literacy gaps. Instagram has been proven to facilitate the political participation of the younger generation. However, it has not been able to fully bridge the inequality of political representation due to digital exclusion. By applying the theories of agenda setting, political efficacy, and networked public sphere, this study concludes that the quality of political communication, information disclosure, and the critical capacity of digital citizens largely determine the success of digital democracy in cyberspace.

Abstract

Implementation of Regional Regulation Policy No.03 of 2016 concerning Non- Smoking Areas in the Paser District Health Service (supervised by Prof. Dr. H. Adam Idris, M. Si as supervisor I and Mohammad Taufik, S. Sos, M. Si as lecturer supervisor II). The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of Regional Regulation Policy No.03 of 2016 concerning No-Smoking Areas in the Paser District Health Service. Search data obtained from interviews and observations. Meanwhile, The research methodology used is qualitative, specifically using the phenomenological approach. Primary and secondary data are the two main types of research data sources. There were a total of six research informants. The used analytical method involves data manipulation, data representation, and the derivation of findings, followed by their validation. The research results show that the implementation of regional regulation policy no. 3 of 2016 concerning No- Smoking Areas in the Paser District Health Service uses the Soren implementation model. C. Winter, is already running even though implementation is not yet optimal. Therefore, Efforts such as socialisation and counselling by government agencies, including the Paser District Health Service, in collaboration with other relevant institutions, are imperative. However, the implementation of the Regional Regulation on No-Smoking Areas has proven to be unsuccessful.
