Abstract

This research wants to develop learning media for Sunday school children who seem conventional towards digital by using Book Creator. This development arose due to the need to keep up with the times, create child-friendly churches, and maintain the quality of teaching to Sunday school children. However, churches tend to be lacking in preparing the quality of Sunday school learning media. The author observes that these problems can be overcome by developing learning media that suit the needs of Sunday school children. By paying attention to the needs of Sunday school children inseparable from the principles of theology in it, book creators are very appropriate in assisting educators to prepare quality learning. The hypothesis proposed is the basis of children's theology on Sunday school teaching materials and developing book creator-based Sunday school children's learning media so that they can produce ready-to-use digital products. The results show that teaching materials tend to be good theologically, and teaching materials need to be developed into book creators, so that educators can improve competence and students can understand God's Word through the use of technology. In the development stage, product validation results based on material, media, and language experts showed an average of 87.6% with the category "very feasible". The methodology used is Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE) using qualitative and quantitative research in each specified stage.

Abstract

Kajian ini fokus pada upaya merekonstruksi spiritualitas ramah alam. Spiritualitas yang dirumuskan berdasarkan perjumpaan kreatif antara gagasan ekologis agama Malim dan Kristen. Kemunduran ekologis dan daya dukung alam disebabkan oleh tindakan eksploitatif yang dilakukan oleh manusia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan apresiatif inquiry. Peneliti menggali ajaran agama Malim berdimensi ekologis. Selanjutnya didialogkan dengan teologi Kristen sehingga melahirkan spiritualitas ramah alam.  Hasil penelitian ini adalah spiritualitas ramah alam mendorong umat beragama agar mensyukuri keberadaan alam semesta sebagai anugerah Allah. Danau Toba sebagai anugerah Tuhan wajib dilestarikan. Gereja bertanggung jawab untuk melakukan restorasi ekologis di kawasan Danau Toba. Keristenan dan agama Malim dapat melakukan agenda bersama demi keberlangsungan kehidupan di kawasan Danau Toba.

Abstract

Abstract. Increasingly severe environmental damage to be a global concern. Reducing the environmental carrying capacity for the survival of all creation is a crucial problem. The purpose of this study is to explore the church's responsibility in living out ecological spirituality as an answer to its calling on earth. Ecological spirituality is reconstructed based on David G. Hallman's ideas about the spirituality of the earth community which is encountered with the ecological context in Indonesia, specifically North Sumatra. This study conducted by a qualitative method with an appreciative inquiry approach. The research result showed the importance of living ecological spirituality as a fulfillment of the church's call to care for and preserve the earth as a common home for all creation.Abstrak. Kerusakan lingkungan yang semakin parah menjadi keprihatinan global. Penurunan daya dukung lingkungan terhadap kelangsungan hidup seluruh ciptaan merupakan masalah krusial. Tujuan kajian ini adalah mengeksplorasi tanggung jawab gereja dalam menghidupi spiritualitas ekologis sebagai jawaban atas panggilannya di bumi. Spiritualitas ekologis direkonstruksi berdasarkan gagasan David G. Hallman tentang spiritualitas komunitas bumi yang dipertemukan dengan konteks ekologis di Indonesia, secara khusus Sumatera Utara. Kajian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan apresiatif inquiry. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pentingnya menghidupi spiritualitas ekologis sebagai pemenuhan panggilan gereja dalam merawat dan melestarikan bumi sebagai rumah bersama bagi seluruh ciptaan.
