Abstract

One of the non-communicable diseases (NCDs) is diabetes mellitus (DM), which is characterised by high blood sugar levels and metabolic disorders of carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins due to insufficient insulin function. Early detection is rare due to the absence of complaints. The government, through BPJS Kesehatan, urges JKN participants aged >= 15 years to conduct health history screening with the aim of identifying potential risks for diabetes mellitus, hypertension, coronary heart disease, and chronic kidney disease. Empowerment and increased community participation through Posbindu PTM activities with its cadres are two of the efforts to control DM disease and its complications. The purpose of this community service (Pengabmas) is to provide education and training on diabetes and its complications to health cadres in Jabungan Village, Semarang City, as partners in this Pengabmas. This community service uses the Active Human Learning Method (CBIA), which consists of two activities: counselling through videos containing material on the introduction of safe carbohydrates as a prevention of diabetes mellitus and its complications, and training in the early detection skills of NCDs through BPJS web screening. This activity was attended by 16 cadres, who were very enthusiastic during the activity. The results of the activity showed an increase in cadre knowledge in the good category by 80% and sufficient knowledge by 20%.

Abstract

Special attention to health issues is still the main focus of the government in Indonesia. Some health aspects that are of concern include health degrees, cross-sectoral cooperation, health development policies, health development financing systems, quality of health facilities, health workers, and health supplies (Suparyanto, 2010). These health problems can affect the general public as well as certain groups such as infants, toddlers, pregnant women, the elderly, and workers. The purpose of this study is to run the Tri Darma of higher education by implementing community service activities, especially in the form of preparing health cadres to face the New Normal Era in Jabungan Banyumanik Village, Semarang City. The implementation method includes a preparatory stage that involves coordinating with health cadres, identifying participants, compiling materials, and carrying out activities using lectures, demonstrations, and discussion methods. Evaluation is carried out through pretest and posttest to measure the increase in cadre knowledge. Findings from the study showed that there was an increase in cadre knowledge by 15%. The impact of this research is improving the quality of health cadres, public understanding of the New Normal Era, and strengthening cooperation between universities and the community. Therefore, increasing the knowledge and skills of cadres, as well as community understanding, is expected to have a positive impact on health services and preparation for new situations.

Abstract

Abstract

Current PROLANIS screening workflows at primary healthcare facilities remain predominantly manual and complex, characterized by lengthy registration processes, laboratory examinations, medical consultations, therapeutic exercises, health education sessions, and pharmacy visits. These inefficiencies result in prolonged patient queues, duplicate documentation, delayed data aggregation, and excessive workload for healthcare personnel, ultimately compromising program effectiveness and participant satisfaction. This study addresses these challenges through the development of a web-based self-health screening kiosk utilizing a Research and Development (R&D) approach with a prototyping model. System evaluation focused specifically on user interface/experience (UI/UX) feasibility, rather than clinical effectiveness, involving six PROLANIS officers from Sidorejo Lor and Sidorejo Kidul Community Health Centers using a structured assessment instrument. Results yielded an average score of 4.0 (out of 5), indicating good design consistency, responsiveness, and functionality, though improvements remain necessary in ease of use and visual layout. The prototype demonstrates potential to enhance PROLANIS efficiency but requires broader clinical validation and system integration testing.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain complete and detailed information about the relationship between statistics, quantitative research and the history of Islamic civilization. The method used is a qualitative method, a type of literature review research. The research results show that the Al-Qur'an and Hadith cannot be separated from history. Because the Koran and hadith have recorded a lot of history. Especially the history of Islamic civilization during the time the Prophet Muhammad lived in Mecca and Medina. However, the connection between statistics and the history of Islamic civilization can be seen in the use of statistics itself, especially in war, Islamic law, determining the beginning of the month and many more. Apart from that, the methods used by Islamic scientists are the beginning of research methods based on the principles of positivism, known as quantitative methods. Especially in their discoveries in the form of chemistry, science and many more.
