Abstract

Besarnya potensi ikan teri di Indonesia serta adanya kecenderungan ekspor ikan teri gelondongan, maka diperlukan terobosan baru dalam dalam upaya diversifikasi dan pengembangan aneka produk olahan ikan teri. Meskipun muncul anggapan bahwa ikan teri sangat terjangkau, sebenarnya ikan teri juga memiliki nilai ekonomis yang sangat tinggi di pasaran dan dapat disejajarkan dengan jenis komoditi laut lainnya baik di pasar domestik maupun internasional. PKM ini bertujuan untuk melibatkan warga Paiton Probolinggo untuk mengidentifikasi berbagai jenis hasil diversifikasi dan pengembangan produk hasil olahan ikan teri khas Probolinggo. Identifikasi jenis produk, alat, bahan serta metode pengolahan dilakukan melalui survey, pendampingan dan dokumentasi. Hasil diversifikasi dan pengembangan produk olahan ikan teri yang kita fokuskan pada 2 variasi olahan yaitu sambal geranti dan teri crispy. Produk olahan ikan teri ini sangat layak untuk dijadikan satu potensi dalam pengembangan usaha kuliner unik khas Kabupaten Probolinggo. Kegiatan yang telah dilakukan berupa peningkatan kualitas produk, peningkatan nilai tambah ikan teri (diversifikasi produk teri olahan/teri crispy dan sambal), pemakaian kemasan, dan pemberian label produk tersebut. Berdasarkan pengamatan, masyarakat telah mendapatkan pengetahuan dan teknologi berkaitan dengan penanganan dan pengolahan hasil perikanan, serta melakukan pengemasan dan pelabelan produk tersebut.

Abstract

Integrating the local potential as a learning resource is a vital component of the curriculum to guarantee that learning is both practical and relevant. Transforming biodiversity identification data from students' environments into learning media may improve students' understanding of biodiversity by providing them with a deeper insight into the contextual aspects of biodiversity. Thus, it is essential to design an electronic module for pisces diversity in the village of Plalangan Kalisat that includes fish identification outcomes.The aims of this study are as follows: to ascertain the validity of the pisces diversity e-module product containing fish identification results in the developed village of Plalangan Kalisat; and to determine the practicality of the aforementioned product in the developed village of Plalangan Kalisat. This study used the Lee & Owens (2004) development model. The product validation conducted by material experts yielded an average percentage of 89.83% (highly valid), by media specialists yielded an average percentage of 89.78% (highly valid), by Indonesian language experts yielded an average percentage of 92.22% (highly valid), and by biology teachers yielded an average percentage of 93.33% (highly valid). The small group trial yielded an average percentage of 92.83% (highly appealing). The findings from the large group trial revealed an average score of 94.91% (highly appealing). Based on these two test results, it can be concluded that the developed e-Module has proven to be valid and practical.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the degree of urgency of students' needs for Animalia learning media for class X students at MA Miftahul Ulum Suren Jember after the Covid-19 Pandemic. This study is a preliminary study from research and development (R&D) that is carried out if there is a need for development. This study is confined to an analysis of requirements obtained from early field observations as well as a review of relevant literature. The data that has been obtained will be analyzed descriptively. The interview findings revealed that the tenth-grade teacher required learning media on animalia that were comprehensive, more practical, and capable of assisting pupils in overcoming difficulties, particularly in the aftermath of the Covid-19 Pandemic. The results of this study concluded that there is an urgent need for Animalia learning media at MA Miftahul Ulum Suren Jember after the Covid-19 Pandemic.
