Abstract

Japanese is one of the most difficult languages to understand and read. Japanese writing that does not use the alphabet is the reason for the difficulty of the Japanese language to read. There are three types of Japanese, namely kanji, katakana, and hiragana. Hiragana letters are the most commonly used type of writing. In addition, hiragana has a cursive nature, so each person's writing will be different. Machine learning methods can be used to read Japanese letters by recognizing the image of the letters. The Japanese letters that are used in this study are hiragana vowels. This study focuses on conducting a comparative study of machine learning methods for the image classification of Japanese letters. The machine learning methods that were successfully compared are Naïve Bayes, Support Vector Machine, Decision Tree, Random Forest, and K-Nearest Neighbor. The results of the comparative study show that the K-Nearest Neighbor method is the best method for image classification of hiragana vowels. K-Nearest Neighbor gets an accuracy of 89.4% with a low error rate.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang sering terjadi dalam mengkonsumsi makanan adalah konsumsi gizi lebih atau kurang. Konsumsi buah dan sayur dapat menjadi sumber dari gizi untuk mencapai pola makan dengan gizi seimbang. Buah dan sayur merupakan sumber dari vitamin, mineral serta serat yang dapat membantu manusia dalam mengkonsumsi makanan secara seimbang. Kurangnya pengetahuan tentang buah dan sayur yang cocok untuk dikonsumsi serta kurangnya pengetahuan tentang kandungan gizi yang ada pada buah dan sayur menjadi faktor utama masih rendahnya konsumsi buah dan sayur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membangun sebuah sistem rekomendasi buah dan sayur yang dapat membantu konsumen dalam memilih buah dan sayur yang cocok berdasarkan umur dan preferensi konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan ontologi sebagai knowledge base dan metode profile matching sebagai metode untuk memberikan rekomendasi buah dan sayur. Penelitian ini berhasil mengimplementasikan sistem rekomendasi pendukung smart e-commerce dengan 30 data buah dan 30 data sayur menggunakan ontologi dan profile matching. E-commerce ini dapat memberikan rekomendasi buah dan sayur yang cocok berdasarkan pada umur konsumen. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan preferensi konsumen yang terdiri atas warna dan rasa buah dan sayur untuk menampilkan pilihan buah dan sayur yang disukai oleh konsumen. Kelemahan dari penelitian ini adalah perhitungan rekomendasi bersifat stastis, sehingga masih harus dilakukan kodifikasi ulang jika ada perubahan data buah dan data sayur yang dimasukkan berdasarkan kandungan gizinya.

Abstract

The development of Air Conditioner technology to stabilize the temperature and humidity of the air in a room has affected human life activities. This research designed an automatic control system for air conditioning using the Fuzzy Mamdani method, because it is known that air conditioners have the largest cost burden compared to other electronic devices. Then, this research designed a control system consisting of a DHT22 Sensor as an input to detect the room temperature controlled by the ESP32. Furthermore, the results of data collection are analyzed using the Fuzzy Mamdani method so that the defuzzification output instructs the relay to take action, namely switching off to adjust the temperature degree and display data to the IoT platform, ThingSpeak. The results of this research show that the DHT22 sensor test was successfully calibrated with a hygrometer comparator with an error value of 0.4%. Then, the prototype design based on fuzzy rules has been successfully implemented with an error value of 9.2% from the manual comparison so that it is concluded that the deviation difference is still recommended. This indicates that the system effectively maintains desired environmental conditions while improving energy efficiency by reducing unnecessary AC usage. The results confirm the feasibility of implementing IoT-based fuzzy control systems for practical energy-saving applications.

Abstract

Information technology has supported the development of quality school services throughout the world. However, there are still many schools that have not used it optimally, especially in Indonesia, for example at Prince Jayakarta Bekasi Middle School. As in general, schools only use Ms. Word and Ms. applications . Excel. This resulted in different assessment formats and errors when filling in grades into the report card format. The academic information system application developed in this study uses the PHP, HTML, and MySQL programming languages and is named SIAP, which means eighteen academic information systems. The purpose of making this application is so that students / parents of students can receive school assessment information in a precise, fast and accurate manner. Teachers can also use the facility to process student scores so that they are well integrated and summarized as data for the Principal to make policies. This application can be opened on any browser platform, making it easier for users to access it anywhere and anytime.
