Abstract

Mobile phones are not only used as a communication tool in the millennial era, but they can also be used in the learning process. Mobile phones are rarely used as a learning tool by students. This study aims to determine the validity level of learning media based on Android applications using Smart Apps Creator (SAC) on mitotic and meiotic cell division material. This type of research is research development, or research and development (R&D), using the ADDIE model, which is modified only up to the development stage with limited trials in class XII IPA 1, SMA Negeri 1, Tapa. The results showed that the results of validating learning media based on android applications using Smart Apps Creator (SAC) on mitotic and meiotic cell division material were included in the "very valid" category with a percentage of 3.93%

Abstract

This research aims to get interactive e-book learning media  oriented to science literacy skills on immune system material. The e-book learning criteria  produced in this study have been valid, practical, and effective. This type of research is development research that uses 4D models (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). This study used 6 instruments, namely: interview instruments, validation instruments, student response instruments, learning implementation assessment instruments, student activity assessment instruments, and learning outcome assessment instruments (pre-test and post-test). The results found that the validity test based on the assessment results of validators of material experts, media experts, question experts and teachers obtained x ̅ scores of 98%, 97%, 93.33%  and 91.33% (very good) respectively. The practicality test for the results of learning implementation in this study was the first meeting and the second meeting got a score of x ̅ 97%, the results of student activities in the first and second meetings got a score of x ̅  respectively 87%, and 90%, and the results of student responses in this study got a  score x ̅ is 86% (all of those results belong to the "very practical" category). The effectiveness test based on the results of N-Gain analysis in this study received a value of 0.80 (effective). The author concludes  that the interactive e-book developed is valid, practical, and effectively used in the Biology learning process at SMA Negeri 2 Gorontalo

Abstract

This research aims to analyze scientific literacy competency in class x Final School Examination (UAS) questions on environmental pollution Gorontalo City 2 Public High School The approach and type of this research is descriptive qualitative. The techniques used in collecting data in this research were interview and documentation techniques. The research results obtained by researchers in the field are that there are four indicators of scientific literacy competency that were successfully analyzed in the School Final Examination (UAS) questions, namely the first indicator is an indicator that aims to identify valid scientific opinions, the first indicator is found in questions number 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9,11,12 and 13. The second indicator is an indicator that trains students to carry out effective literature searches. The second indicator is found in questions number 2,3,6 and 11. The third indicator is found in question number 4,5,8, 10 and 11, in the third indicator students are trained in their ability to understand research design elements that can be obtained using scientific data. The fifth indicator is in question number 5, the fifth indicator aims to train students in solving problems in everyday life with quantitative skills.
