Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) dengan menggunakan model 4-D yang bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan LKPD fisika berbasis virtual lab yang valid; (2) mendeskripsikan penilaian guru terhadap LKPD fisika berbasis virtual lab; (3) mendeskripsikan respon peserta didik terhadap LKPD fisika berbasis virtual lab; dan (4) mendeskripsikan efektivitas penggunaan LKPD fisika berbasis virtual lab. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah 28 orang peserta didik kelas XI MIA 1 di SMAN 6 Sinjai pada tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dari lembar validasi LKPD, lembar penilaian guru, angket respon peserta didik, dan hasil kerja LKPD fisika berbasis virtual lab. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh kesimpulan: (1) LKPD fisika berbasis virtual lab dinyatakan valid dengan nilai content validity sebesar 0,93. Profil LKPD yang memenuhi kriteria tersebut terdiri atas: sampul, identitas, Kompetensi Dasar (KD), pengantar, tujuan percobaan, informasi kerja, rumusan masalah, rumusan hipotesis, identifikasi variabel, definisi operasional variabel, alat dan bahan, prosedur kerja, hasil pengamatan, analisis data, kesimpulan, dan daftar rujukan; (2) guru memberikan penilaian dengan kategori sangat baik pada setiap aspek penilaian LKPD fisika berbasis virtual lab yang dikembangkan; (3) peserta didik memberikan respon positif terhadap LKPD fisika berbasis virtual lab yang dikembangkan; dan (4) LKPD fisika berbasis virtual lab dinyatakan efektif karena ≥80% peserta didik telah mencapai ketuntasan hasil kerja LKPD.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to improve the physics learning outcomes of students through the application of discovery learning model with peer tutor method. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with Kurt Lewin model design. The research subjects were X IPA 1 class at UPT SMAN 4 Gowa in the 2023/2024 school year. Data collection techniques used written tests. Data analysis techniques used quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed an increase in physics learning outcomes. The average value of physics learning outcomes before the action was 61,54 with a percentage of completeness of 23,33% in the very less category. The average value of physics learning outcomes in cycle I was 74,55 with a percentage of completeness of 54,17% in the less category. The average value of physics learning outcomes in cycle II was 75,71 with a percentage of completeness of 65,52% in the sufficient category. Thus, the discovery learning model with a peer tutor approach can improve physics learning outcomes in class X IPA 1 at UPT SMAN 4 Gowa. Keywords: learning outcomes, discovery learning, peer tutoring
