Abstract

Penetapan peraturan ESDM Nomor 49 Tahun 2018 telah mengeluarkan peraturan terkait instalasi Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS), serta program pemerintah gerakan nasional sejuta surya atap, telah membuka peluang kerja bagi generasi muda yang belum memiliki pekerjaan. Akan tetapi untuk terlibat dalam program nasional tersebut harus memiliki kompetensi instalasi PLTS. Kabupaten Bandung Barat saat ini memiliki tingkat pengangguran yang cukup tinggi dengan jumlah pengangguran mencapai 65.000 orang. Desa Ciwaruga sebagai salah satu desa yang menjadi penyumbang jumlah pengangguran. Melalui koordinasi Remaja Masjid Jamie Babussalam dilakukan kegiatan yang bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi agar menambah daya saing dalam mencari pekerjaan. Terkait prospek bisnis PLTS atap, maka sangat tepat jika pada kelompok remaja masjid tersebut diberikan pelatihan melalui kegiatan tentang instalasi PLTS. Metode kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan dan pembinaan Listrik Rumah Tangga Tenaga Surya (LRTS). Hasil kegiatan berupakan peningkatan skill dan pengetahuan LRTS, sertifikat serta rencana kerjasama selanjutnya dari Desa Ciwaruga dengan Tim PKM.

Abstract

Gas Diesel Power Plant (PLTDG) is a power plant that can operate with various fuels. In PLTDG PT Indonesia Power UP Bali, there are two modes of operation: diesel mode with single HSD fuel and gas mode with dual fuel (LNG and HSD as pilot fuel). This study evaluates the performance of the Dual Fuel PLTDG at PT Indonesia Power UP Bali. The plant uses a combination of diesel and natural gas. The research methodology involved analyzing operational data during annual performance tests, including fuel consumption, electrical energy generated, engine speed, and fuel heating value. The results show that the use of dual fuel increases the efficiency of the plant compared to the use of a single fuel (diesel). The efficiency of dual fuel use is more linear with respect to load, while that of single fuel use constantly increases with load. The specific fuel consumption in dual fuel use is 16.7% more efficient for the same load than single fuel use. This affects the economic value of generation, where the use of dual fuel with LNG saves 40% compared to the use of single fuel with HSD. In addition, the use of dual fuel with LNG has a positive impact on the environment because it produces more complete combustion. In conclusion, the implementation of a dual fuel system not only improves operational efficiency but also provides environmental benefits by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Abstract

This research discusses the comparison of gas turbine performance in ideal and actual conditions at PLTG unit 4 at PT PLN Indonesia Power Bali PGU. The performance of a gas turbine can be seen from the network and thermal efficiency of the cycle produced. Ideal conditions are the expected conditions, while actual conditions are conditions where a component works in actual conditions. Based on research conducted, the ideal efficiency value is 43.04%, while the actual efficiency value is only 18.23%. The turbine work values ​​in ideal conditions (Ẇts) and ideal efficiency (ηths) have greater values ​​than the actual turbine work (Ẇt) and actual efficiency (ηth). Meanwhile, the ideal fuel consumption (SFC) value is lower/more economical, namely 0.16372 kg/kWh compared to actual fuel consumption (SFC), namely 0.4912 kg/kWh. This difference is caused by isentropic conditions when the turbine is working, some of the heat energy entering the turbine is not utilized due to friction between the parts in the turbine or vibration which is a source of irreversibility in the turbine.

Abstract

ABSTRAKFan test set merupakan salah satu peralatan penting laboratorium di Jurusan Teknik Konversi Energi yang digunakan untuk menguji karakteristik laju perpindahan fluida. Alat ini terdiri dari gandengan motor DC penguatan bebas dan kipas. Fan test set ini dapat menghasilkan aliran udara yang tetap atau berubahubah dengan menetapkan atau mengubah-ubah kecepatan putaran kipasnya. Kecepatan putaran kipas ini sendiri diatur melalui kecepatan putaran motor dc penggeraknya. Dalam kegiatan penelitian ini telah dilakukan perancangan dan pembuatan konverter ac/dc terkendali yang dapat mengubah daya listrik arus ac menjadi daya listrik arus dc yang dapat dikendalikan. Daya listrik dc variabel yang dihasilkan selanjutnya digunakan untuk menyuplai belitan jangkar motor dc agar kecepatan putaran kipas dan aliran udara dapat dikendalikan. Perangkat ini dapat menghasilkan tegangan keluaran dalam rentang 10 – 100 V dc yang mampu memutar motor dc dari 203,6 – 1849 rpm dan menghasilkan harmonisa yang sebesar 6,7% saat vibrasi motor mencapai 2,8 mm/s.Kata kunci: beban nol, fan test set, harmonisa, konverter ac/dc ABSTRACTFan test set is one of the important laboratory equipment in the Department of Energy Conversion Engineering which is used to test the characteristics of the fluid transfer rate. It consists of a coupled free-amplifying DC motor and fan. This fan test set can produce a fixed or changing airflow by setting or varying the fan speed. The rotational speed of the fan itself is regulated through the rotational speed of the dc motor driving it. In this research activity, the design and manufacture of a controlled ac/dc converter that can convert ac into controllable dc power has been carried out. The resulting variable dc power is then used to supply the DC motor anchor winding so that the fan rotation speed and air flow can be controlled. This device can produce an output voltage in the range of 10 - 100 V dc which is capable of rotating a dc motor from 203.6 - 1849 rpm and producing a harmonic of 6.7% when the motor vibration reaches 2.8 mm / s.Keywords: no load, fan test set, harmonics, ac/dc converter
