Abstract

Background: Quality of life and depression in HIV patients is an impact that will be received by HIV patients if the intervention is not carried out properly, to reduce the impact that will occur to eliminate the worst impacts, HIV patients must always be motivated and approach in the form of counseling and other approaches such as spiritual emotional freedom technique.Purpose: The purpose of this study was to collect the right type of therapy or intervention to reduce depression rates due to psychological impacts on HIV patients and improve the quality of life of HIV patients. Methods: The design of this study uses a systematic review approach by collecting several articles from a selected database consisting of science direct, pubmed and proquest with articles published in 2016-2021. The search for articles was conducted by entering the words "Spiritual emotional freedom technique OR SEFT OR Counseling AND Depression AND Quality of life OR QOL AND HIV OR AIDS". The search articles were limited to inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. The inclusion criteria in this study were HIV patients with low quality of life and depression. The study design was a randomized controlled trial and a quasi-experimental study, while the exclusion criteria were HIV patients without quality of life problems and depressive disorders, cross sectional and literature review. Results: The results of this study were the publication of articles, Science Direct articles 4513, proQuest 18862 article and 7350 pubmed article, 614 articles were deleted because duplicates 1560 were reviewed specifically and found 9 articles that matched the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Research that met the criteria was presented in a systematic table. Conclusion: it was found that there are several appropriate interventions that can be given to HIV/AIDS patients, one of which is counseling about the disease and the provision of spiritual emotional freedom technique therapy

Abstract

Perioperatively in BPH patients who underwent TURP action caused thermoregulation disturbances which resulted in a decrease in temperature (hypothermia). This can occur due to exposure to environmental temperatures that are too extreme and the effects of anesthetic drugs during intraoperatively which can cause vasodilation of blood vessels and blocked sympathetic nerves so that they dominate the performance of the parasympathetic nerves. The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of the Blanket Warmer in perioperative TURP patients at the Central Surgical Installation of Tarakan Hospital, Jakarta. The design of this study used a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest with control group design. The research sample was 48 respondents of TURP perioperative patients. The sampling technique was accidental sampling, the statistical test used was Paired t test. The results of the univariate analysis showed that the highest age was 50 years, about 89%, a history of drug consumption 54.2%, and a history of alcohol consumption as much as 29.2%. Bivariate test analysis between the intervention group and the control group obtained a p value of 0.001 <0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in the two groups. The multivariate test obtained p value > 0.05, meaning that the variables of age, history of drug consumption and history of alcohol consumption did not have a significant effect on thermoregulation stability. That there is an effect of giving a Blanket Warmer on the stability of thermoregulation in perioperative TURP patients. Suggestions for further research that a blanet warmer can stabilize thermoregulation in perioperative TURP patients at the Central Surgical Installation of Tarakan Hospital Jakarta. Abstract

Abstract

Background: The Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) disease caused by SARS-COV2 was first discovered in Wuhan, China, December 2019. WHO has set Covid 19 to be a pandemic which has resulted in an increase in death rates worldwide. Covid-19 attacks the respiratory system which resembles pneumonia but has signs of a decrease in oxygen saturation. In Indonesia, many people, especially men, practice smoking, where smoking can cause respiratory system problems, but there is no sign of a decrease in oxygen saturation. Objectives: This study aims to determine the effect of smoking on oxygen saturation levels in Covid-19 patients. Methods: This type of research is an analytic study with a cross sectional design. Total population of 52 people, with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: This study shows that 21.2% of patients who smoke 6-12 cigarettes / day have oxygen saturation <75%, with the result p-value = 0.000, which means that there is an effect between smoking on decreasing oxygen saturation, with a 53-fold chance of covid patients. People who smoke can cause a decrease in oxygen saturation. Conclusion: Decrease in oxygen saturation in covid-19 patients, can be caused due to the toxicity of cigarettes smoked. In smokers who are confirmed Covid-19, there will be an worsening of oxygen supply in the blood, which is indicated by a decrease in oxygen saturation <75%.
