Abstract

This community service activity aims to fulfill daily life. Coconut is one of the superior commodities which is very abundant in Kuala Lagan Village. However, this potential has not been optimized due to the community's lack of understanding and experience in developing Recycle Coconut Shell to improve the creative economy based on the potential that the village community already has. Based on the problems above, it is necessary to increase understanding through community empowerment to support and improve the creative economy of the Kuala Lagan Village community. This program aims to develop and provide socialization and assistance to the community so that they can optimize the village's potential.

Abstract

The main objective of carrying out this service is to increase public understanding of the potential and value of recycled coconut shell products, encourage active community participation in coconut shell management and integrate Islamic values ​​in sustainable natural resource management practices. The implementation method used is through outreach and training to the community regarding the use of coconut shells as raw material for recycling coconut shells, an Islamic perspective approach to protecting nature and resources, providing technical support in the production process, and monitoring and evaluating program progress. The results obtained can increase the number of recycled coconut shell products produced by the community, and increase community participation and the application of Islamic values ​​in natural resource management practices.

Abstract

This article discusses the development of collaboration between students and the creative fashion industry to strengthen the Islamic business ecosystem. In addressing the challenges of globalization, this collaboration focuses on innovative fashion products aligned with Sharia principles. Community service programs include skill training, seminars on Islamic business ethics, and the promotion of halal products. The research results show that this collaboration enhances industry capacity, expands market access, and raises awareness of sustainable products. The article recommends strengthening collaboration networks, increasing training, and involving the community in developing fashion products that align with Islamic values.

Abstract

Innovation and creativity are the main keys in increasing the competitiveness of Tangkit Jambi's pineapple processing managed by KUBE Mega Buana. Through the use of appropriate technology and digital marketing strategies, various significant outputs have been achieved. Pineapple processed products are developed with new variants that are more innovative, accompanied by improved packaging quality so that they are able to meet modern market standards. The application of digital marketing based on social media and marketplaces has also expanded the distribution reach, which was originally limited to the local scope, now reaching regional markets. Furthermore, strengthening halal branding developed in accordance with sharia economic principles increases consumer confidence and provides added value to products. The increase in the capacity of KUBE members can be seen from skills in business management, technology utilization, and consistency in maintaining product quality. These results show that the integration of innovation, technology, and sharia values not only encourages the economic growth of business groups, but also strengthens the position of Tangkit pineapple as a regional leading commodity with wider development potential.

Abstract

The halal certification obligation for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) products that has been set by the government through the Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH) originally took effect in October 2024, now it has been extended until October 2026. However, most MSME actors, including KUBE Mega Buana in Tangkit Baru Village, Muaro Jambi Regency, are not ready to fulfill these obligations due to a lack of understanding of the certification process, limited information, and cost constraints. This service program aims to provide education and assistance to KUBE Mega Buana members to understand the importance of halal certification, know the mechanism and stages of submission, and be able to prepare the required documents independently. The approach is carried out through halal literacy training, registration simulations through the BPJPH siHalal system, and the preparation of a simple halal product management system. The results of the activity showed an increase in the understanding of KUBE Mega Buana members about halal certification obligations, the ability to identify products that must be certified, and administrative readiness in the process of applying for halal certification. This program contributes to increasing halal awareness, strengthening the competitiveness of Tangkit's typical pineapple processed products, and the readiness of MSMEs to face the implementation of mandatory halal in 2026.

Abstract

Tangkit Jambi's distinctive pineapples have great potential as raw materials for value-added processed products. However, limitations in processing technology and business management in accordance with halal principles hinder the development of these products. This proposal aims to optimize halal-based pineapple processing through the empowerment of KUBE Mega Buana, with training in processing, halal certification, and marketing of halal products. The targeted outcomes are high-quality halal pineapple processed products, KUBE members who are competent in sharia business management, and the formation of a halal MSME ecosystem in Tangkit. This activity supports the development of a fair, sustainable, and empowering sharia economy for the local community.
