Abstract

The rapid development of technology has shifted the conventional tourism industry towards the digitalization of the tourism sector. The emergence of travel booking platforms, as a form of technology-based service innovation, is able to simplify traveling activities and previous works of literature have indicated a positive relationship towards customer satisfaction. However, tourist’s behavior has change become more demanding to involve in the creation of value in accordance with their needs and wants. The concept of value co-creation elaborates this issue, offering a new concept of value creation and new roles between service providers and tourists. This study aims to examine value co-creation as mediating variable between IT-based service innovation and customer satisfaction, using DART measurements and SEM-PLS is used to assess the model. The findings prove that IT-based service innovation positively influences value co-creation between users, which can increase customer satisfaction. However, IT-based service innovation does not have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, which indicates that value co-creation fully mediating the relationship between service innovation and customer satisfaction. Thus to enhance customer satisfaction, service providers need to propose service innovation that facilitates customer involvement in value creation, which can be supported by technology. Keywords: Customer satisfaction, Service innovation, Tourism, Travel booking platform, Value co-creation.

Abstract

The selection of raw material suppliers affects production efficiency. PT. Novalindo only considers price, neglecting quality, delivery, flexibility, and responsiveness. This study uses AHP based on QCDFR for a systematic solution. The study begins with assessing stainless steel and iron plate suppliers based on QCDFR criteria, followed by the application of AHP to determine the best supplier, calculate criterion weights, and perform consistency testing. The study shows that PT. Yunsung is the best supplier for both iron and stainless steel plates with a weight of 0.504. PT. Bansoek and CV. Mulya rank second and third with weights of 0.290 and 0.170, respectively. PT. Yunsung excels in the quality, cost, and flexibility criteria, while CV. Mulya excels in delivery, and PT. Bansoek excels in responsiveness. The consistency of criterion weightings for both types of plates shows acceptable consistency values of 0.015 and 0.013. This study provides a systematic, data-driven solution for selecting the best supplier for manufacturing companies in the iron and stainless steel plate sector, offering a strategy for evaluating and selecting suppliers across multiple dimensions, including quality, cost, delivery, flexibility, and responsiveness. The study has been able to improve operational efficiency and reduce the risk of supply chain disruptions.

Abstract

This research explores in depth the intricate relationship between financial behavior and impulsive buying behavior among Generation Z and Millennials two cohorts that have grown up in the digital era and are heavily influenced by online platforms. As digital payment systems, e-commerce applications, and social media marketing continue to expand, these generations face increasing exposure to persuasive digital advertising and instant purchasing options. Such exposure often leads to emotionally driven and unplanned purchases, raising concerns about long-term financial well-being. Using a quantitative research design, the study gathered primary data through structured questionnaires distributed to both Gen Z and Millennial respondents. The research examined several dimensions of financial behavior—such as budgeting practices, saving consistency, expense tracking, and long-term financial planning—to determine how these variables influence impulsive buying tendencies. Statistical analysis revealed a significant negative correlation between disciplined financial behavior and impulsive spending: individuals who demonstrate better control over their finances are less likely to make spontaneous purchases. In contrast, participants with weaker financial management skills tend to exhibit higher impulsivity, particularly within digital shopping contexts where convenience and social influence are strong. These findings emphasize the importance of enhancing financial literacy programs that go beyond basic knowledge to include behavioral awareness and emotional regulation in digital consumption. The study provides valuable insights for educators, policymakers, and marketers, highlighting the need to promote responsible financial decision-making and encourage mindful spending among young adults in the fast-evolving digital economy.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Catering Hangout is a culinary business engaged in catering services and is located in Tanah Baru Village, Beji District, Depok City, West Java. This business began operating in 2018. The main activities carried out include processing food ingredients from raw to ready-to-eat dishes. Increasingly intense competitive conditions require every business actor to be more active in attracting customers in order to expand the market. One of the challenges faced by Catering Hangout is the limited understanding of innovation in business development. Therefore, this community service activity raised the theme of socializing business concepts and strategies using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) approach as an effort to overcome this problem. BMC itself is a management framework used to design business strategies by mapping nine main elements, namely value, distribution, relationships, revenue streams, resources, activities, key partners, and cost structures. In its application to the SME Catering Hangout, the BMC approach is supported by qualitative methods through Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and problem-solving to produce a business model design that suits the business conditions. With the socialization of BMC, it is hoped that Catering Hangout can begin to implement the 9 BMC blocks to increase sales and distribution of its products, which will have a significant impact on the company's overall turnover.
